Hey guys and gals, my Dad just called me from work, and a guy he works with offered to sell him about 2 dozen {24ish} LJNs in great shape for $100. Is this a good deal? My dad only named a few, like Valentine, Beefcake, Jimmy Hart and Okerlund. Should I tell my dad yay or nay? I'll feel super guilty if my Pops gets ripped off, so please offer your opinions!

i remember 2 years I picked up 25 LJNs at a flea market for $1 each anf they were in decent shape..
so personally I would say no but then again, you don't know if there are any gems in the group he has that may be sought after..
for now I vote not worth it

I was once sold a house in Salt Lake, New York online. It seemed like a great deal at the time. Only problem is, there's no Salt Lake in NY.
Moral of the story: Don't buy something before you see it, especially if it's $100. That's why I don't bid on crapon eBay without pictures. You never know what you're getting.

Can you look at the figures before you buy them? Find out who all of them are. Like the rest said, if there are any gems in there, might not be a bad price.

id say no unless the likes of bossman rude warrior slaughter warlord etc are included any 2 of those would make it a worth while deal, specifically warrior and warlord.

Even if they are common LJNs, $5 each is a decent price as long as they are in good shape. If they all have the majority of their paint and haven't been abused, it's a pretty good deal.
That is, on the condition that you need $100 worth of common, loose LJN figures. Depends on your collection and what you need for it. You could possibly get just the figures you really like on eBay for a fraction of that, and save space on the extras that you didn't want.

Thanks for all the help guys. I've decided it's not that good a deal, and probably won't go thru with it. Thanks again!
