Saturday Night's Main Event!
This May - marks 25 Years that the show originally debuted on NBC, in May of 1985.
Any memories?
Do any of you guys have the WWE SNME DVD set? If so, what do you think are some of the highlights?

great memories of Mcmahon andhighlights for me include
Feb 5 88-the WM III rematch between Hogan and Andre which drew a 15.2-still the highest rated wrestling TV ever.

My favorite SNME moments ever were when the Mega Powers were formed and then when they exploded.
They took their time to build up this great friendship and then took their time to destroy it. The way the whole thing went down was great writing.

I have the DVD set, it's quite well done...an early match between Randy Savage and Bret Hart is pretty good in there, amongst the whole Mega Powers thing...
Some great matches from Mr Perfect too, when he was with The Genius...
25 years already, eh?

I also have this dvd and it is pretty good i would have to say my favorite moment is also hogan vs andre 2. watching that dvd brings back so many memories.

i think for a time when you only got three or four ppv per year, snme was great as it gave you the type of match that you couldn't get on wrestling challenge, superstars etcand was crucial for building to some events (mega powers explode for example).

Post WM 3... A 2-out-of-3 falls tag match between Hart Foundation and the British Bulldogs. The Bulldogs won, but they didn't get the titles, because one fall was a DQ.

Most of the Mega Powers Teased Breakup was on here-great stuff.
