- WWE filmed a commercial yesterday that will air on SyFy this Summer to start hyping the network debut of Friday Night SmackDown in October.
A few of the names appearing in the commercial included Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio.
Kofi and Rhodes are currently on the RAW brand so it looks like they might get drafted tomorrow night. This could also mean that Swagger and Mysterio will be staying on SmackDown.
These commercials were put together yesterday but WWE has filmed commercials to hype Superstars before, such as Evan Bourne with the ECW Title last year, then changed the plans and shot new material.

I expected Kofi to get drafted to smackdown so that wouldn't suprised. As long as he gets a push, i'm happy.

Kofi is currently a RAW superstar SWERVE he gets double drafted!!!!! I've always wanted this to happen. A good idea would be like: Taker gets drafted to raw, At the end of the night he's in the battle royal, team smackdown wins to bring taker back. I'd be like.....k |

MVP needs to get drafted more than Kofi. Ugh. He still can be, they only used those two for the advert. |

MVP never got a push on Raw and has been used absolutely terribly. He belongs on Smackdown and never should have went to Raw. Kofi going to Raw instead of MVP would piss me off. Kofi had his push, had his feud and had his spotlight. MVP feuded with The Miz and never beat him once. Before that, he had Mark Henry holding him down and before that, he was losing matches to Kofi himself. I believe that MVP should have feuded with Randy instead of Kofi. IMO He stepped in the way, when it should have been MVP's time. I don't want them putting him in the way again. Kofi should stay on Raw and MVP should go back to Smackdown and become relevent again. I believe with the right push, he could step into a feud with Swagger over the belt. Kofi strikes me as a midcarder for life, MVP strikes me as a dropped ball. Which needs to be picked up and thrown into the hoop. I don't get how Kofi needs the move at all. He is doing fine on Raw and actually gets on it. MVP doesn't. |

to be fair Jysn..a lot of RAW superstars need that. Kofi, MVP, Rhodes, Zack Ryder, Christian....pretty much the entire midcard.

Kofi JSYN is right Pissed! Therefore the wf must pay with another rant soon. Glad too see Kofi go too smackdown. Personnally I hope Batista retires after his next match for the title. We have so many young guys that could easily replace him, Kofi, Jomo, R-Truth, sheamus, Jack Swagger, and yes MVP. |

Kofi benefited so much from the Orton feud, that he can be taken as a serious threat. MVP is very meh. I used to be a huge fan but he has gotten slow and just overall pretty boring. |

However Kofi is way more exciting and mvp is kind of slow. Kofi is way easier too get over. He's charismatic, exciting, has tons of catch phrases that kids would dig, an exciting finnisher. Its not that MVP didn't deserve the push, its just Kofi is the total package. He can bring on all emotions with believability and passion. I've been a fan of both for over a year but Kofi screams multi world champion and future top star. MVP shouts world champion. |
