Move if necessary. But I thought it was significant to put it here seeing how this was where Kerry Von Erich defeated Ric Flair to become the NWA Heavyweight Champion in 1984.
Quite sad to see it go.

This would actually be more WCCW related. They ran every Parade of Champions out of Texas Stadium.

First the Sportatorium, now this...  Very sad indeed. They're also talking of tearing down the Mid South Coliseum, which was the center of Memphis wrestling for 40 + years. Very sad when history goes into disarray and has to be torn down. |
