Davey was a great tag team guy, and a very good midcarder, but he was not mainevent material. He lacked mic skills, and charisma. I hated his time in WCW.

dynamite kid was the true british bulldog. although bulldog was a good talent he lacked a lot of the technical ability and it showed.

Davey was good in the ring, but his whole push was down to him being roided out of his freaking brains. In fairness a lot of guys at this time were recieving a push for the exact same reason. Davey was a very popular midcarder but can't believe there was ever plans to push him any higher than he went.

yup both Ultimate Warrior and Davey Boy were canned in November 92.it forced big booking changes for Survivr Series 92. Davey Boy was supposed to sucessfully defend his IC belt against HBK on the PPV,instead he was made drop it on SNME in early November.this led to Hitman vs HBK for the Wrld title on the show. Ultimate Warrior and Macho or Ultimate Madness were supposed to match up against Flair and Razor Ramon.....Warrior was canned then Perfect was turned face to replace him. long term it worked out well for Vince because HBK impressed all concerned with his initial IC reign Not trying to start a fight I just know my crapfrom that Era. The orginial card had Davey against the Mountie And HBK Vs. Hart. Which we got anyways

I have an old article from Power Slam Magazine on DBS and I read that part wrong. I remember watching SS92 and wondering where the hell DAvey Boy was?? and man correcting people isnt starting a fight

I just remember, the cable company gave you a free program when you ordered the filter. Remember those things??? Anyways I looked in it and saw that, this was before the days of match bulid up lol.

I was just thinking about Bulldog vs HBK.......Davey Boy always seemed to be on the losing end here....
Dropping the IC title being eliminated by him last in RR95 dropping the Euro title to him in England.......
every week I put 2 different hasbro figures/teams in my hasbro ring......this week I think itll have to be HBK and Davey Boy

Yea, that is true, he always was on the losing end. maybe they just had tremendous chemistry together. outwith the "clique i'm struggling to think of anyone of the time who could match michaels or be treated as his equal in the ring!

I felt he was far to roided out to be as good as he could of. He was often slow at points in some matches and seemed gased out. I wasnt a fan of his selling either
