Yeah, WWF was good at that in the 80's.
Hell, the original Saturday Night's Main Event theme was an instrumental version of "Obsession" by Animotion.

Yeah, WWF was good at that in the 80's. Hell, the original Saturday Night's Main Event theme was an instrumental version of "Obsession" by Animotion. According to Wikipedia, the Bonnie Tyler version came two years after the WWF usage. No idea if that is accurate. |

I clicked the picture and just knew it was Ravishing. I think someone told me one time that Hogan used the actual song in Japan. I like some of Bonnie Tyler's stuff but this song is really terrible. The instrumental is much much better lol

Hogan appearently used this in Japan before he went to the WWE. As far as Obsession, it wasn't musical, just cut out before the words started.
