Vince did right by Arn and Tully.
he chose to to end Demolitions years plus reign and they went over the Harts,Rockers and Strike Force in title defencers at big PPVs.
plus they were part of the Heenan Family-the premiere heel clique in WWF.

How about Midnight Express with Eaton and Lane. By far I found Lane much more entertaining and much much better in the ring then Condrey but they never really had the success that Eaton and Condrey had. Lane and Eaton had 3 US Tag Title reigns and 1 very short world title reign. I thought these two could have been much bigger then where they really ended up.

honestly I nver thought the Rockers needed the gold-they were over like rover but did lose an awful lot..... They were basically the face version of the Orient Express. Anytime a heel team needed to go over a decent name they fed the Rockers to them. The Rockers The BrainbustersThe Islanders ... Dunno bout that one. Arn and Tully spent most of their WWF careers as tag champs. They were there but for maybe a year. Obviously their NWA careers were much better but I think if they had stayed around (especially with Flair coming in '91) they would have had many many more reigns. Fair enough, I just thought they had more to give with the other tag teams around at the time...they were the cream of the crop, in-ring wise.

Big Bossman and Bull Buchanan! They were a great, underutilized team, they would've been awesome World Tag Team champions! Bossman and Akeem aka The Twin Towers should've also had a run as the tag champs in '89, I've always thought they should've been the team to end Demolition's 1st tag title reign since they were feuding with the Demos in the Summer of '89!

Im really worried about what some people consider tag teams with potential. Kash and Noble? Bossman and Bull? Moore and Yang?.....seriously these guys wouldnt be good in todays tag teams where you can throw any schmooze together

Kinda off topic here but I was just watching the 1995 Royal Rumble and it reminded me just how horrible the tag division was in the company then. You had...
Smokin' Gunns (meh) Men On A Mission (didn't enjoy them whatsoever) 1-2-3 Kid & Bob Holly (horribly thrown together) Heavenly Bodies (good workers, awful tag team) Well Dunn (absolute garbage) Blu Brothers (couldn't work at all) Headshrinkers II (I actually like Barbarian but it the gimmicks were worn out at that point)

I love the Royal Rumble's 95 comments from the King and Vince.
King: Jimmy Del Ray. I like this guy!
Vince: Is he going to win the rumble?
King: Well, I don't like him THAT much.
Hilarious!

For us old school guys there is one team that always comes up in what if when it comes to teams. The team in questions is The New Breed (Chris Champion and Sean Royal). They had the potential of really being the next big thing in the NWA in 87 but a car accident involving Chris Champion then the early retirement of Sean Royal ended the team before it really was able to get started.

The New Breed never did it for me. Of course I was very young at the time and barely remember them but even going back and watching old footage, I didnt think they were anything great. They had the in ring talent but just looked silly to me.
As for the New Generation era in WWF. Their Tag Teams were VERY week. Like all the teams mentioned above, everything seemed like it was a character. The Quebecers were about the best thing I could remember from that era

Phil LaFon and Doug Furnas were pretty good, I also quite liked the New Blackjacks.

from the main board, this reads "Tag Teams that had pot"
I'm going with London & Kendrick.
I think they answer the actual question well, too. Sure, they held the tag titles forever, but the belts never meant crapduring their reign anyways

I thought the Blackjacks were just a lil late to the game. They would have been perfect for the gimmicky New Generation era but they really hit about attitude era time and just couldnt be taken seriously.

Should've been given the opportunity to really ascend the ranks. These guys were over.

Road Warriors are the most over team ever.
There I corrected it for you.
Your out of your mind if you don't think they deserved all the praise they get.
