Don't ask me why, but i got thinking of WrestleMania X-8 today and for me the card always seemed heavy and light in different areas, especially the main event. I never took Jericho as a credible World Champion until his current WWE run.
WWE Championship The Rock (c) vs. Triple H
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Hollywood Hulk Hogan
No Holds Barred Ric Flair vs. The Undertaker
Mr. Perfect vs. Kurt Angle
Intercontinental Championship William Regal (c) vs. RVD
Kane vs. Kevin Nash (w/ Scott Hall)
Europeam Championship DDP (c) vs. Christian
Women's Championship Triple Threat Match Jazz (c) vs. Trish Startus vs. Lita
Edge vs. Booker T
Hardcore Championship Maven (c) vs. Goldust
Tag Team Championship Billy & Chuck(c) vs. Dudley Boys vs. APA vs. Hardy Boys
Six-Man Tag Team Match Rikishi, Scotty Too Hotty, & Albert vs. Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, & Test
What do you all think?

On your card I'd move Jericho to face Edge and put Booker T. in that 6 man-tag match. Other than that, it would've been a REALLY solid card.

Yeah I had though about that and it would place Jericho is a higher match status. While I had a hard time seeing him as main event material in 2002, he was definitely mid- to high-card status. Had Chris benoit be able to wrestle I would have had Jericho face him.

i agree that the triple h/rock feud really didn't have a culmination.
