It's certainly something the WWE needs to rectify.

I missed all of the awesome RVD teams. RVD and Kane, RVD and Jeff Hardy (2003 version), RVD and Sabu, etc.

You know, one tag team I always liked was two single guys together. Loved them solo, but I thought together they were the definition of tough. No goofy gimmicks, just two bad ass guys who would mess you up.

With every fiber of my being.
Sure, TNA is doing well in that field. Beer Money are the best team today, and if LAX does indeed reform then I'l be super happy.
But the magic just isn't what it used to be in many ways. Road Warriors, Steiner, Rock and Roll express, The fabs, Midnight Express, all the way through E&C/Hardys/Dudleys. i miss it.
WWE needs to produce a second teams dvd, Allied Powers was good but severely lacking.

Have there been great tag teams? Of course.
Have there been great wrestlers in tag teams? Of course.
But I don't really care for the American style of tag team wrestling. I like, for instance, Chikara's tag team system. They are Lucha influenced. I could get behind some of that coming to the WWE, but it will never happen.

Yes.
2000-2001 was a great time imo since The Hardyz, Dudleys, E&C and some others were having awesome matches.
Now there are hardly any tag teams that are legit where they aren't two singles wrestlers paired for 5 months or whatever.

I loved thrown together teams such as Kane/RVD, Rey Mysterio/Edge, Angle/Benoit etc, I think the Tag Team division in WWE is alot better than it was a year ago, We have ShowMiz, Hart Dynasty and Morrison and Truth.

I dont know why but Southern Tag Team Wrestling was soooo much better then its northern counterparts. I mean teams like Midnight Express, Rock n Roll Express, Andersons, Horsemen, Midnight Rockers, Freebirds the list just goes on and on

Man i loveeeeed tag team wrestling in the 80s...it started teetering out in the 90s.there were a few good one...but nothing like 83-89. I could list tons of teams that i watched. They were MY main event when id watch wrestling.I didnt watch WWF at the time. was pure NWA and southern territories.
RnR express- my fav of all time.. the NIghtmares Danny Davis and Ken Wayne- Second only to Rock n Roll Midnight Express-Bobby Eaton was amazing to me Williams and Gordy - They were like the Road Warriors but with wrestling skills The Sheepherders- The were extreme before it was catchy Fantastics- the bled fantastically Fabulous Ones- awesome Dynamic Duo- short lived but awesome British Bullodogs were WWF but they worked a few territrories..Dynamite was the bomb Road Warriors- They werent my fav...but they were cool
These are just a short list of my favs..Loved Tag team wrestling

I dunno about that.
They didnt get a contract after that match in 2003 against RVD/Kane.....but I bet they would have turned up in TNA again when it got bigger.

Would've made more sense at Slammiversary 2007 if the Road Warriors showed up, rather than the makeshift team of Rick Steiner and Road Warrior Animal...

i REALLY miss true good tag-team wrestling. tag teams were one of the reasons i started watching wrestling. WWE really killed tag-team wrestling honestly. TNA is bringing it back but nothing will ever be as good as mid-80's through the 90's. those years were the peak of tag-team wrestling by far. Japan has a lot of good tag teams in New Japan, NOAH and DDT Pro.
