Anyone know what the reason was for Randy Savage to be hardly involved in any PPV's during this periord? He was involved in Summerslam 1990 against Rhodes, but then did an interview at Survivors, attacked Warrior and no showed in the Rumble' 91 and then finally return to the ring at WM7 in the career ending bout, before losing that and not wrestling until Nov 1991. Was he injured for most of this time or just take some time out. Anyone help?

Its weird how the number 3 guy in the company at that time, wasn't hardly involved in any PPV's for almost 14 months barring WM7, which is one event some people would wrestle hurt for, like HBK at WM14.

Never really thought about this. I do find it odd that after SummerSlam'90 he never really did any major work until his short feud with Warrior in early '91. Obviously I know after WM VII he was playing on the Retirement gimmick. But it makes me wonder WHY WWF made in a career match.

Returned to the Kingdom of Madness!? Perhaps they had the idea for the career ending storyline and wanted his match at WM7 to have some magnitude!? Just a guess...
Reason he no-showed Royal Rumble as an entrant was "being ran out the building" by the Warrior...

I still reckon he was injured somehow, he really could have entered the Rumble, only for the Warrior to come rushing down after him and Savage could have dived over the top rope fleeing from UW, thus eliminating himself in the process.
