I'm a big Four Horseman mark, with my favorite grouping being Flair, Arn, Tully, and Windham. I was just wondering, hypothetically... If you could use any guy from any time period to create your own Four Horsemen team, who would you pick?
For me - WCW in 1993... I'd put:
Ric Flair Curt Hennig (defecting from WWF/E) Stunning Steve Austin Flyin' Brian Pillman (as the Hollywood Blondes)
That's my dream team. What's yours?

I'm confused. You're a big 4 Horsemen fan, but you'd put the Hollywood Blondes in your dream Horsemen? To each his own I guess.
My list of wrestlers that would make good Horsemen is pretty small, but Hennig is definitely on it. But as for my dream 4 Horsemen, it's probably the original group. Sure, Ole was past his prime, but he epitomized the tough, mean spirit that you need to counter Flair's flamboyance.
Oddly enough, Windham isn't on my list of ideal Horsmen. He was a great wrestler, but an unconvincing heel, at least to me. After the first two incarnations, the "bad ass" factor in the Horsemen really dropped off. But it's hard for me to think of tough bad asses that fit later versions of the group. Any suggestions?

I can't look past the original incarnation TBH - I admit Windham was good, but I agree with Magnum - not the best or effective heel within the group. He was better than the rest that followed though (Sid, Luger, for example)
I'd agree with Hennig being in there if I had to take someone out, (which, due to age, would probably be Ole) and have the mean streak run through all 4 men - Flair, Arn, Tully and Hennig like never before.

I dont see how anyone can make any incarnation of The Four Horsemen and not have Ric Flair and Arn Anderson in it. I think both are pretty much a given. Following them I feel that Tully Blanchard is just a must as well. Since he was only in 2 incarnations of the group though I can see how you would feel the need to be left out. Although Windham was great and I consider it the best group of all time, Windham doesnt "fit" to me. You have all these party goin, suits and ties and then some big hillbilly with leather vest and cowboy boots. For a 4th member I think an ideal guy would have been Stan Lane or Ted DiBiase (after his M$M stint of course)
