ok so I have viewed many shoots and I feel I can make a fair list of ones to see ones that are ok and ones that are dire......
folks can use this as a reference then suggest ones that they thought were good, crap or whatever too and we can add them on.
Must see Shoots.
Road Warriors Bret Hart Paul Bearer Hart Foundation New Age Outlaws Billy Gunn X-pac Mr Wonderful Paul Orndorff Bobby Heenan Jimmy Hart Outsiders Jim Cornette Kevin Nash Scott Hall Ric Flair Vader Honky Tonk Man Team 3D Hacksaw Jim Duggan Marty Janetty Terry Funk
ones I though should have been better but were still good
Demolition Powers Of Pain Brutus Beefcake Kurt Angle Mick Foley
ones that were awful.
Ted Dibiase Chyna Scott Steiner Dustin Rhodes/Runnels/Goldust

I'd like to recommed Terry Funk's 2002 shoot; I thought it was brilliant, such a legend.

Shawn Michaels' was very good. It basically showed how vulgar he was at the time.

Yeah, the other thing about Steiner's is, he never takes his sunglasses off during what I've seen...it's easy to lie to the camera when your eyes are covered...

For me many of the above shoots were good but one that is overlooked when someone makes these "shoot" lists is "Kamala".
It's one of the few characters out there by just him speaking it breaks kayfabe and you get never-before-heard insight on him and his career.
I recommend Kamala Shoot simply because you get something out of it you never did during his run as "Kamala". Him actually speaking.

I have an odd recommendation since it's not a "shoot interview" per se, but it's a genuine home video of NWA wrestlers in 1987... and therefore, they're "shooting" (out of character, etc.).
The actual title of the release is "Behind the Scenes at the Bash." It's basically 25 minutes of home video footage that Jimmy Garvin shot in the locker rooms during the Great American Bash tour in 1987. It was originally available through Garvin's website only, but I believe RF video has the rights to it now (I bought my copy directly from Garvin).
You get backstage footage of The Road Warriors (including Animal showing the camera his gig as he taped it to his wrist so he could blade in his match that night), Dusty Rhodes, Sting, Lex Luger, Ronnie Garvin, Jim Cornette, Nikita Koloff and more.
Nothing terribly scandalous, but the footage is fascinating because it's so unique. They were all goofing off for Garvin, who was "one of the boys," so they're all out of character. At one point, Hawk makes a comment on camera that Garvin should sell the tape to Dave Meltzer ("He'll probably sell a million of 'em!").
