Kancer...you made the statistic up. These message boards are such a small representative of who buys these figures worldwide. You're fooling yourself if you think Jakks is doing this because they are listening to the fans. They are doing the RA style because it is cheap.
honestly i dont care why they are doin it but im glad they are, only because i want to have a collection with as many stars as possible(at least one of each one day) and to have to start over with DA at this point would be pointless.
and yess i totally made that statistic up, but im pretty sure its pretty close
all my wrestling fan friends(alot of which dont collect at all as they think we're too old) when they see my collection always comment whats with the "stupid" super tall one with the bending stomach" and stupid aint the real word they use lets just say it rhymes with hey as not to offend anyone, but the qoute usually ends with a refrence to a certain rumor about mailyn manson and his possible missing of some ribs.
on a side note they also make fun of the ones with the enormous heads like the lance storm(which mine now sports the TTL lance headsculpt)
and majority people online not just on here but other boards as well tend to go towards RA and im sure its for the same reasons i do
dont get me wrong the scale factor annoys me to all end as much as anybody i hate that my doink and undertaker are the same height (ive met matt bourne and i tower over him)
jakks should have had that issue taken care of from the start, back in the BCA days but, even back then the first test figure we saw was like the shortest toy they made in that era so it just goes to show jakks historically has no concept of scale
however it looks like every DA fig is the same height and its alot easier to ammend the scale issue with RA figs, for me it has been anyway
and one more thing (im starting to feel like iron shiek at the hall of fame lol)
someone said in a diffrent post(maybe on a diffrent board not sure) that wanting RA was like someone wanting BCA still or somethin like that well to that person all i have to say is they still made BCA all the way up till the wwe line ended and it looks like tna will have it as well so for all 2 collectors in the world who stuck with BCA all this time and for all us RA fans, looks like your analogy sucks, but im not mean spirited and i hope that you somehow get DA classics, sence the RA fans won that battle hahahaha
