NWA is a tremendous asset they acquired. It makes sense to do the new classics in RA format over DA to make things uniform. I know that's all some people wanted so they'll be happy with that. However, it looks to be the same old song and dance we're used to otherwise. They now have direct competition with the collector's dollar. You look at something like Mattel's modern Kane and then see Jakks' modern Kane...it's obvious which one is quality and which one was parts inaccurately thrown together for the past 5 years. This is more of an issue with DA than it is RA, but RA is in desperate need of variety too...especially since RA is continuing in CS and in some degree with TNA. As I've said before, now is the chance to start right and make the tall guys tall and the small guys small. I could see why someone would like that Joe, but look at what it's based off of: www.tnawrestling.com/images/stories/roster/samoajoe/IMG_3545.jpgIf they're just starting out and don't want to bother with the nuisance of making accurate or partially scaled molds, fine, but why not wait so you don't seem as if you're cutting corners from the start? This just makes the line look like WWE's sloppy seconds at this point.

Although I may not be collecting the upcoming Jakks products, I have to say that these interviews were very informative.
Enjoyable.

The interview answered a lot of questions for me. Very informative.

Good interview, actually got some good questions answered. Im glad to hear the products will be international, i had fear they wouldnt be. Also great news about MCMG!! LOTR and NWA being RI makes sense, so thats a big win for the collecting community.

Yep and im glad you asked it cause i cant wait to finally see MCMGs, particularly Sabin. Yeah series 2 is great news really, best they could do since series 1 is done already.

What was the release date for the NWA legends line? I didn't catch a date on that.

I love this guy's non-answer to the "accurate size of wrestlers" question. I think that pretty much answers our questions if the figures/stars will remain all being the same exact size as one another. I have zero hope for scaled Jakks figures now.

So.. a line that'll have classic TNA figures, will be RI when the main TNA figures are DI?
What...the...? Seriously, just do the Legends figures in DI sine they'll feature TNA talent. It's stupid to release a 2002-2006 version of AJ Styles in RA.. when he won't be able to fit in with the DI figures.

as for the nwa line, im hoping we finally get to see international wrestlers like Liger, muta..ect.. since they both wrestled under the nwa banner for a bit in the 80's an some of the early 90's

I think the key thing Jakks needs to focus on and this is for RA and DA both, is that they need multiple new torsos. Majority of Jakks scans are out of this world. If they can just get the body types right they are right up there with mattel. If Jakks can get new torsos done, with a large line of classic guys to make, they could give mattel a run.

Yes! So happy the the Legends line will be RA style!
Hopefully the main line RA's coming out later in the year are decent too.
