A year ago, WFCW (Wrestlefreaks Championship Wrestling) announced one of the biggest acquisitions in Pic fedding. WFCW signs MWFA as another brand named RAGE. However, this merger was a distress call in the part of WFCW.
WFCW was under a lot of financial troubles and merging with a stable MWFA was the best move that needed to be done to stay in the business. MWFA, with all its respect to WFCW, retained the WFCW company name and dropped the MWFA in hiatus leaving its stars up to the Huge WFCW draft. The draft was completed but not a show was done.
Talents had to drop out of WFCW due to failure to meet their salary. WFCW executives opted to release all of the talents and sell the equipment.
Fast forward to today, Beatdown owner Sebastian James decided to drop the WFCW label and bring forth Beatdown X.
Some say that X signifies the year 2010.
Some say X signifies Beatdown’s desire to go “EXTREME”
Some say that its the rating that the censors usually give out some of Beatdown's segments such as "son of a Bisch"
Some simply say that X is like a middle finger sent out to the WFCW label that used to be there..
Whatever meaning you want to put in the addition of X, it would always mean the same as its mathematical counterpart..
X is the unknown, a variable..
X will only be defined by you.. the viewers.. the pic fed community..
