Whenever I get a Texas ID, the first thing I will do is get inked. One thing I want is to get my High School nickname on the back of my forearm. "Skittles"...don't ask why. Also, I'm thinking of doing a tribute to my brother and my friend, who passed last year. The tribute to my brother will need to be professionally done, so that's definitely gonna be expensive. However the tribute to my friend and my high school nickname can be done by one of the people who inks up my friend...

Well, I'm finally getting a tattoo in the next week or so and I am overly excited and nervous. I'm getting the Slightly Stoopid (props to anyone who knows of their work) skull on my ribs in rasta colors. Im nervous because I don't know how painful it will be. Just wish me luck!

I've been thinking about getting a plague doctor with an anhk on the end of his prodding rod. Don't have the time to go into detail now on why.
If you google plague doctor, you know what I'm talking about.

hey Nirvana, that came out really good man. to be honest, i wan't sure about it when i read your original post describing it. however, after seeing it all done, it's completely different from what i was imagining. i was thinking more of a cross between kofi kingston's logo and bob marley dreadlocks, haha. i guess i just associated it when you said rasta colors. but like i said before, it came out really nice, i like the colors and the placement. how long did you end up sitting for?

About 2 to 2 1/2 hours. The guy was really nice and talkative during it so the pain wasn't too bad. He said he was surprised that I withstood the pain for this being my first piece, being so big and in such a painful place. I felt proud to be honest. I'm going to be getting my Sublime piece next month also, probably during Christmas break. I honestly think I love getting tattooed.

Maybe new ink soon. My girlfriend said I need to take a break from spending my money on tattoos (which I agree with) but however, she said I could get this one; basically, it'd be a paw print tattoo like several people have. But this one, would be a claw print, for my iguana. it'd be small but meaningful because her and I both bought him, we're going to have him for like 20 years, he's like a child to us.

I thinking alot about getting my first tat, the Rise Against fist logo, the only things that I am unsure of are the pain and the cost, I'm not really wanting it too big, but on the upper inside of my left forearm, so yea, could anyone give me a little insight?

I thinking alot about getting my first tat, the Rise Against fist logo, the only things that I am unsure of are the pain and the cost, I'm not really wanting it too big, but on the upper inside of my left forearm, so yea, could anyone give me a little insight? The pain isn't an issue. It's like a little sting that turns into a burn after a while, and I don't know if it's this way for everyone, but for me, after a minute or so I forget that it even hurts. I guess I just make peace with the fact that this is going to be a little bit annoying, but I asked for it. It doesn't bother me at all. What I learned last time I was in the chair, though, is that my right arm hurts way more than my left. I'm right handed, of my 8 tattoos, 7 of them are on my left arm. The heart that you can see above was on my right wrist. When Paul, my artist, first started that one, I went " , man, what are you doing over here?" He goes, "What?" I said "It doesn't usually feel like that. I always leave you a nice tip, bring the nice people needle out." He laughed and said "Ah, you know what, it could be your right arm. You're right handed, right? Yea. A lot of people's dominant arm hurts more." I'm not sure if that's true, but it felt that way for me. Like I said, though, after a minute I was over it and basically forgot he was working.
