Got this done on Thursday. It's on my back under my right shoulder. I'm pretty much in love with it. This picture was taken right when it was done, I'll take a better one when it's healed as the blue really came out better a few hours later then it is in that pic.

Well I was having a hard time figuring out something I wanted. I knew I wanted something that fit me and my personality, so when we were looking through some ideas my friends came up with that one. It goes with my laid back personality, and everybody agrees so far.
It might sound like a silly reason, but I love it. That's all that matters to me. Haha

as im earning quite a bit of money from my new job, i might finally get a tattoo ive been wanting for a while. one of my favourite bands is biffy clyro, and they have an album called puzzle (which is one of my favourite albums ever), so id like a puzzle piece outline on my forearm sometime. possibly coloured with a logo inside of it, or like, see through so a bone or something showing there.

I have a question guys. What do you think about getting tattoos with no meaning behind them? I hear alot of people talking about this and wanted to know what you guys think.

I think some people assume that all tattoos must have some deep meaning behind them, likely thanks to the sob stories a lot of people give on shows like LA Ink.
I have some tattoos that do have meaning behind them, but a lot of mine I got because it's just stuff I've been obsessed with since I was a kid. I've always been a huge horror nerd, and a lot of my tattoos show that.

I dont think you can get a tattoo with no meaning behind it.I mean it doesnt have to be a oprah moment.I mean my mario tat is simply because I have always loved playing mario games for hours on end.Hell even wuffles got a random lizard but it speaks about his personality so no there is no such thing as tat with out meaning imho

Hmm, I guess that makes sense. I'm not old enough to get a tattoo nor am I sure what I would even get but I always thought I might regret it if didn't have some meaning behind it. But actually that makes plenty sense you liking a Game and getting a Tat even if there isn't you know, some huge story behind it. And yeah, I've never seen that show but I imagine they would show alot of tats with stories behind them.

I have a question guys. What do you think about getting tattoos with no meaning behind them? I hear alot of people talking about this and wanted to know what you guys think. I honestly think that it's become a stupid stereotype that a tattoo just HAS TO HAVE a deep meaning or a message - and half of the time the person who has a tattoo like this, get's a tattoo that is SO ing obscure from what the meaning is - AND THEN when someone asks about it, they go off about how they hate being bugged about their ink. No, I don't think every tattoo has to have some life story/deep/spiritual meaning. I have Leonardo from the Ninja Turtles on my right forearm, and like someone else said, anything you get a tattoo of will at least have a LITTLE meaning behind it, even if it is nothing serious. Since you aren't tattooed, my advice is - if you do decide you want one, WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE OLDER. I can't even tell you how many stupid tattoos I wanted when I was a teenager. Unfortunately, people do change, but tattoos are forever - a lifetime commitment, and that **** just isn't for everyone.

I have a Power Ranger tattood on me, but I suppose it has meaning. If anything it represents my upbringing. I believe all my tattoos will have meaning

I only read the first sentence of your reply A-Bomb, and the only reason I stopped is because I don't need to go through the whole set of paragraphs to know we're on similar pages. My friend and I could get cartoon images of Tom Selleck tattooed on us. It wouldn't be meaningless simply because we have a long running joke involving him. If you want to get stereotypical, that's when you pull out the "it's a symbol of how strong our friendship is."

Okay, now I read the whole thing.
And I can reinforce your last statement as well. My friend, when he was 10, wanted a tattoo of a skull wearing an nWo head band on his hand.
...He stopped watching wrestling in 2001.
Would have been a bad idea, no?
