Ok, now I am annoyed. And these figures did not even come out yet.
I just got postcards for Mattel Toy recalls due to lead in the paint which can be a hazard for small children, and it is also linked to Autism. I hope that when these figures come out on 1/1/2010, there won't be recalls down the line, because that would really stink for collectors, especially ones with small children. I'm not being a preacher. I am simply raising awareness. Thank you.

this was going around a while back. something to do with all the contaminated water in china. they had to recall a bunch of toddler toys and some of the batman figure series. i'm guessing by now they took care of all the recalls needed and corrected this with the overseas production for the wwe line. it's an all new production so i doubt they'll be making the same mistakes with all the work going into this and the profits to be made come january.

I hope so. I just had to do a massive return on some of my daughter's toys. She's not a happy camper.

yeah i wouldn't worry too much. i'm guessing there shouldn't be a lead paint issue with any of the wwe line. not after all the bad press they got before.

That's good to know. At least I don't have to worry about it. I just hate when stuff like that happens. Iy hurts the little kids more especially because they can get attached to a toy very easily. Anyway, hopefully we will have really nothing to worry about.

I hope they don't. I hope they changed the paint. But I thought it was the company they were working with in China that used the paint.

Yes, it was. I was just concerned because I just received these vouchers to return toys due to the lead in the paint. I just hope this does not happen with the new line of figures to come out.
