As August 2009 rolled around, Chris Jericho and Edge had hit it big. They were the longest running tag champs in history, and they were both NGW World and International champions, respectively. However, the team hit a large downward spiral. The team lost the tag titles to The Frat Pack, Edge lost his International title to Matt Hardy, and Jericho dropped the world title to his archrival, Shawn Michaels. In October 2009, Jericho finally snapped. During a rematch vs The Frat Pack, Jericho unexpectedly gave a stiff Codebreaker to Edge, breaking his orbital bone and his nose. This past Friday, on NGW Turbo, a viral video played, similar to Jericho's save.us_ videos from 2007. Finally, the video read "save.us_EDGE." Edge's music hit, however, he was unable to be seen. When suddenly, Edge rolled into the ring, and hit a huge spear onto Jericho! Edge then grabbed the mic, and challenged Jericho to a Last Man Standing match! Jericho accepted, on the condition that the loser would be forced to leave NGW forever! So now, at the ironicly named event, "Broken Trust", it's Jericho vs Edge for the first, and last time!
