Raw - January 25 Nationwide Arena, Columbus, OH
Before the intro video, we are shown a history of the Royal Rumble video, ending with it saying "This Sunday".
Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole welcome us to Raw after the pyros and tell us that tonight we will see Randy Orton face Ted DiBiase with nowhere to run now, in a Lumberjack match, just 6 days before his WWE Title match. We are then followed up with the music of John Cena. He makes his way to the ring to a quite good ovation. He tells everybody not to worry and he'll make sure Randy Orton doesn't appear on Raw next week with the WWE Championship. He says last week Randy Orton decided he was going to ruin a match he made himself, a one where he chose the opponent he thought could beat the WWE Champion. He says that even if Orton didn't interfere, Jack Swagger would of tapped out anyway. He eventually asks Ted DiBiase to come out. He does so. Cena first of all wishes him good luck tonight, and says he knows how much Ted would like to crush Randy Orton, he asks he saves a little for this Sunday. Ted tells John not to worry about tonight, all he needs to be concerned about is his match this Sunday and that concussion of his. Until then, he'll keep Randy busy. They shake hands.
Commercial Break
We return with D-Generation X backstage. Hunter asks Shawn what the hell he was thinking just walking out last week. Shawn apologizes and says he worked things out with Teddy and Triple H will be in the Royal Rumble match. Hunter thanks him and tells him it's alright. Hunter asks if hes ready for their rematch. Shawn nods, and we go back to the ring where we have Evan Bourne already there.
Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger
Out comes Jack Swagger as his opponent, but is on the mic as he comes down to the ring. He blabs about how technically he didn't lose last week. He rants on and on, and when at the ring Bourne dives over the top and hits him with a crossbody. He picks Swagger up and rolls him in. Bourne works on him on the mat for a while. Swagger tries to fight back but Bourne continues to get moves in. Bourne delivers a huge dropkick and goes for his top rope knees, and takes Swagger down. He kicks out however. Bourne rises and hits more strikes. He knocks Swagger down again and jumps up for the knees once more. However, this time Swagger catches him by the waist, and pulls him up onto his shoulders and delivers the Gut Wrench Powerbomb. He pins Bourne for the 3.
Winner of the match: Jack Swagger (5:14) **
Post-match Swagger taunts to the crowd and gets back on the mic. He says that John Cena's win at TLC last month was a fluke, and last week he still didn't get the pinfall or submission. He claims he'll win the Royal Rumble match and go onto WrestleMania.
Commercial Break

Sheamus delivers a huge clothesline to Noble over the top rope, but he pulls Sheamus over with him. Jamie Noble (1:23) and Sheamus (1:24) are eliminated. Kofi and Rhodes then notice Jerishow and they both take on one. This goes for a couple minutes before Kingston and Rhodes attempt to eliminate Big Show. Rhodes begins to turn on Kingston well Show is tipping and attempts to push him over as well. Jericho runs over and tips all 3 men over, including his own partner for the win. Kofi Kingston (5:08), Cody Rhodes (5:10), and Big Show (5:11) are eliminated.

Jericho celebrated his victory, as Big Show seemed angry with him and got in the ring. He began to holler at Jericho, who tries to calm him down. They work things out seemingly, and walk out with the Unified Tag Titles and taunt together.
We cut backstage to see Josh Mathews with The Miz. He reminds him about losing last week, and Miz claims it was just luck for Santino. He says Santino reminds him of Fez from That 70s Show, nobody cares about him. But everybody cares about The Miz cause he's awesome.
Commercial Break
United States Championship The Miz(c) vs Santino Marella
Miz comes out as we return and begins to speak but is cut off by Santino's music. The bell rings once he is in and they lock up. Santino surprises Miz by taking control early on, forcing Miz to get out of the ring. Santino follows after him only for Miz to hit a cheap shot. Miz then takes control from there and pulls Santino into the ring for a huge momentum turn. Miz hits tons of signature moves and prepares for the Skull Crushing Finale. Santino tries to pull off what he did last week and roll Miz up again, but the champ kicks out. Santino hits lots of arm drags once they are both up and hits a pretty nice dropkick to take momentum back. Santino eventually goes to the top rope for his headbutt and delivers it! Miz rolls away quickly avoiding being pinned. The referee checks on him as Santino walks over. Miz pushes Santino into the ref and rolls out of the ring. Santino once again follows only to be hit with the US Championship. Miz gets back into the ring, and the referee was back up easily and eventually counts 10.
Winner via count-out and still United States Champion: The Miz (7:50) **1/2
Post-match, Miz gets on the mic and says that once again The Miz proves he is simply the best by still being the United States Champion. This brings out Teddy Long, who tells Miz if he is really the best, not only will he try and show his talents in the Royal Rumble match and win, he'll beat Santino again, and he calls for the match to restart.
United States Championship The Miz(c) vs Santino Marella
Miz yells up the ramp at Teddy in anger as the bell rings. Santino crawls behind Miz and rolls him up fast, putting his feet on the ropes without the ref seeing and counting the 3.
Winner and NEW United States Champion: Santino Marella (0:08) [No Rating]
Santino rolls out fast and is handed the US Title by the referee. Miz is on his knees in absolute shock. He pounds the mat with his fists. Santino points at Miz and says 'Who's awesomer now?'.
Commercial Break
We return and are shown what just went down by Lawler and Cole. We then cut backstage and see The Miz walking down a hall in anger. He bumps into Maryse. She's laughing at him. He asks her what is so funny and she talks in French at him before saying he lost to a box boy. Miz says he's not a box boy, he's Italian meaning he's a chef and calls Maryse stupid. He claims it was completely unfair as Teddy Long has it in for him. Maryse says then he might want to prove himself in that Royal Rumble match for Teddy and herself.
We then go to Randy Orton's lockerroom. He is talking to Mark Henry and MVP before Cody walks in. He asks him what kind of display was that. He says that Cody is the only one out of these 4 that is a part of that Royal Rumble match and he needs to be prepared. He then tells Henry and MVP they should've qualified to, and not slipped up. Cody apologizes and says that this Sunday will be his night. Randy says even if Cody wins, the celebration will be himself holding the WWE Championship high, and if he thinks anything otherwise he's 100% wrong. He tells Henry and MVP they better win again tonight or they will regret it.
Commercial Break
We return to the Edge return promo video.
D-Generation X vs Mark Henry and MVP
DX comes out and does their piece before MVP and Henry come down. In a rematch from last week, Henry and HHH start it off. The match goes slowly to start off but picks up. Both men get a few moves in and then we get some frequent tags with their partners. The match eventually goes DX's way and HBK delivers Sweet Chin Music on Henry, knocking him back to Hunter for a pedigree. However, MVP gets to HHH being the legal man and eventually delivers the Drive By. HBK pretends not to notice and pushes Henry's large body out of the ring well MVP pins HHH.
Winners of the match: Mark Henry and MVP (6:22) **1/2
HBK turns around and acts shocked at what happened. MVP gets out of the ring and HBK helps Hunter up. He says he's sorry, he thought he had this in the bag. Hunter seems a little angry but accepts it. He gets on the mic: "You know Shawn... the last few weeks between us have absolutely sucked. We can't seem to do anything right. So this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, we better make sure one of us walks out as the winner because they got 28 other guys to go through between them." HBK tells the crowd if they are not down with that, they got two words for ya.
We see Gail Kim and Melina walking down a hall before commercial.
Commercial Break
Gail Kim w/Melina vs Jillian w/Maryse
The match is basic as Jillian and Maryse come out first, Maryse seeming annoyed but watching her own back. Then comes Gail with Melina. The match starts off with Kim in complete control and Jillian not able to do anything as Kim hits lots of hard moves. Jillian seems hurt for a moment, but she fights through it and takes her control over Kim. She taunts to Maryse saying 'Look at me now!'. Maryse nods to her before Jillian turns straight into a bunch of kicks. Kim just continues to punish her for a minute before delivering the Eat Defeat and winning.
Winner of the match: Gail Kim (5:29) **
After the match, Melina celebrates with Kim. She tells Maryse to get in the ring, but she refuses to and backs up the ramp. Kim motions for the title and says '6 days'.
We go backstage and see John Cena walk into Teddy Long's office. He asks him what he thinks about the Lumberjack match tonight, and Teddy says he loves it. He tells John that he isn't supposed to choose sides, but he's hoping Cena stays the WWE Champion this Sunday. Cena thanks him and tells him about an idea he had. He says he'll call Teddy up about it later, and leaves. Our main event is next.

Lumberjacks: Vance Archer, JTG, Shad, Kaval, Jimmy Wang Yang, Cody Rhodes, MVP, Mark Henry, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger.
DiBiase makes his way out first, followed up by Orton to a chorus of boos. The bell rings, and we see John Cena step out to the ramp with a chair. He sits down on it and stares at Orton, who gets hit from behind by Ted. This gives him control and Ted gets lots of moves on the former WWE Champion. Orton fights back quickly though, and tosses him out to the outside where he is beaten down by Jack Swagger and Vance Archer before being tossed back in. They each get chances to throw each other out, with different people attacking at times. At one point, Rhodes hits the Cross Rhodes on DiBiase on the floor outside before we take a break.

- That was a nice RAW man. Nice promo with John Cena and Ted DiBiase. I don't think that they'd shake hands though. I'd bet they don't like each other. Not after how many times DiBiase cost him the WWE Championship this year. -Good for Swagger to win. Imagine if he'd win the Royal Rumble. -Big Show is like an animal only Jericho can tame. Guess that's why they call him the Liontamer. -Glad that Miz retained the title. You've really pushed him well. -Santino winning the United States Championship? This is a wrestler who lost to a girl. Anyways it was a good shocker. -Mark Henry and MVP with another win over DX. Wow cool! -Nice win for Gail Kim -Amazing main event. Nice for DiBiase to win. This diary keeps rolling and becoming popular. Keep up the good work. Reply to WWE 2009

ECW - January 26 U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati, OH
After the pyros and the introduction from Josh Mathews and Todd Grisham we are brought to the titantron. We see Tiffany, and she addresses the audience about how next week Abraham Washington will be the guest general manager. She then says however, tonight is tonight, and this Sunday is the Royal Rumble. She tells us about some matches here tonight, and to enjoy them. Before she can say anything more, Abraham Washington makes his way out to the ramp with his titantron cutting her off. He acts like he doesn't notice, and he speaks to the crowd. He says next week will be the best week in the history of ECW. He announces that next week, we will see the two men who didn't win the ECW Title match at the Royal Rumble face off in a Steel Cage match to determine the #1 contender. He also says that a huge 8-man tag team match will be taking place as well: Christian, Shelton Benjamin, Tyler Reks, and Tommy Dreamer to face Drew Dalton, Charlie Haas, Mike Knox, and Eric Escobar. He tells the crowd not to worry about a thing, ECW will be in the best hands it ever has been.
Commercial Break
Shelton Benjamin vs Charlie Haas
When we return we get the highlights of Haas/Benjamin's altercations recently and changes of behavior. Once both in the ring the bell rings and Haas hits lots of aggressive moves on The Gold Standard. Shelton fights back fast though and both of them manage some amateur wrestling moves on each other before getting some more common seen moves. Both men get some signature moves in on each other and trade momentum for a few minutes. Benjamin goes for the Paydirt, but Haas pushes him off. When Benjamin comes back, Haas delivers a huge flapjack face first into the turnbuckle. He then hits a move we haven't seen before where he picked Shelton up by the waist and dropped the back of his head on his knee, then applying a sleeper hold. Benjamin was easily droned down and Haas got the win.
Winner of the match: Charlie Haas (7:01) **1/2
After the match, Haas continues to stomp over the fallen Benjamin, and taunts to the crowd.
We cut backstage to see Christian walking into Tiffany's office. He asks her why he wasn't put in a match tonight. She says she wanted to rest one of her best ECW Stars for the Royal Rumble match. Christian says that's a smart idea. Tiffany hypes up to him about Edge's return, and Christian says that Edge returning is a great thing and he's proud that he is already on his way back. He says that he hopes Edge has a better attitude then he did before he was injured.
Commercial Break
We return with Christian making his way down to the ring. He gets on the mic and he talks about Edge's return is nothing compared to what he will do in the Royal Rumble match. He says he's going to win, even if he has to go through his former best friend. He then moves onto Drew Dalton. He claims this man is nothing but an embarrassment to those who grace this ring, because all he wants to do is cause other people pain because he is hideous and he wants to make other people look the same so he seems normal. He sits outside to watch the match.
Drew Dalton vs Ezekiel Jackson
Dalton made his way out staring down Christian, followed by Jackson. This match went slow for the most part, as both big men took their time. Especially Dalton, who stared at Christian when he had the chance. However, at one point Jackson caught him doing so and began to strike him repeatedly. He got the upperhand and clotheslined Dalton over the top rope. This got him angry and he got up to boot Christian in the face. Jackson allows it as Dalton gets counted out well pounding on Christian.
Winner of the match via Count-Out: Ezekiel Jackson (5:04) *1/2
After the match, Jackson ignores what is going on as referees come down and pull Dalton away from beating down Christian.
Commercial Break
We see the Edge returning this Sunday promo.
We then go to the arena and we have Zack Ryder make his way down to the ring with a kit in his hand. He talks about how his girl was stolen from a Puerta Rican rat. He says that first his former tag team partner decided to show up and hit on her, then this joke Primo came in and took her away out of nowhere, sticking his nose where it didn't belong. He asks Hawkins to come out. He does. Ryder says that they don't need Rosa anyway, all they need is to be partners again. Hawkins thinks about it, but declines. He says Ryder's new attitude is pathetic and he doesn't want to be a part of it. Zack gives a speech about how this has gotten him far already, and Hawkins points out he doesn't have a belt around his waist. Ryder looks angry, and Hawkins dares him to hit him. Ryder refuses, and Hawkins thinks for a moment. He says alright, he'll join him. He begins to leave, but Ryder grabs him by the arm. He tells him to stay in the ring and he gets out to grab a chair. He gets in and sits it down, telling Hawkins to take a seat. He grabs the kit and opens it up to reveal scissors and a razor. Hawkins gets up in refusal and Ryder tells him if he really wants to be friends again, he'll have to. So Ryder cuts the hair of Hawkins really short, kind of like his. He gives him a bandanna and Hawkins nods. They hug.
Our main event is next.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Match ECW Champion William Regal vs Vladimir Kozlov
When we return it is time for our main event, as Regal makes his way down to the ring, followed by Kozlov. The bell rings and Regal tries to keep Kozlov from doing anything, but he does and begins to assault Regal hard. He keeps ultimate control for at least five minutes before Regal gets out of the ring and walks around with Kozlov to follow him. He tosses the Moscow Mauler into the steel steps and tries to beat a count out, but Kozlov gets in after him. Regal takes control from there, keeping Kozlov on the mat. However, he fights back and stands up with Regal on his back and he backs into the turnbuckle. Regal yells out in pain, and Kozlov picks him up. Regal rakes the eyes and hits a low dropkick to the knees before booting him through the ropes.
Commercial Break
We return with a clip of during the break, Regal trying to calm down Kozlov well he is sitting in the corner, but he is grabbed by the throat and pushed back. We have Kozlov in control over Regal hitting massive power moves over him. He delivers a huge chokeslam on the ECW Champion and goes for the pin, but Regal puts his foot on the ropes. Kozlov is getting furious and stays in the corner. We see Regal rolling to the opposing corner reaching in his tights. He turns after standing to a running Kozlov and clocks him in the jaw. He then hits a DDT to make it look as if it was a simple take down, and hooks the leg. We see brass knucks on his hand well the referee doesn't notice and counts the 3.
Winner of the match: William Regal (13:57) ***
Post-match, Regal slips the brass knucks into his tights and raises the ECW Title high. This brings out Ezekiel Jackson. He gets in and glares at Regal. He tells him the belt is his. He walks over to Kozlov and yanks him up and delivers a chokeslam. This causes Regal to take himself out of the ring and back off, leaving Jackson standing over Kozlov to end ECW. -> Goldberg's signing months ago, and hold off of redebut, was so Goldberg can get rid of some ring rust. WWE has come up with 2 scenarios for him to return soon. His contract will most likely be over by the end of March, after WrestleMania. Apparently they just want him as a big name on the roster for the meantime.
-> Reports are saying that the WWE Creative has made it's final decisions for the Royal Rumble this Sunday. Expect at least 1 title change.
-> And according to sources, Fergie's performance at WrestleMania 26 of the National Anthem will not be the only performance done. The WWE wants at least 2 other performances, and have asked Rev Theory to perform.

Phoenix says that she talked to Paul Heyman, and she has her shot at the Women's Championship. McCol says that is no problem. I am so sorry that I came off as being impatient, and rushing you, it is just that I was overly excited and I am just waiting in anticipation, that's all, and i went too far and snapped, I'm sorry again for my actions, it is just that I am looking forward to the Rumble and reading it.
Hope the Rumble PPV is really good, and that it lives up to its standard of its promo "I Am The One"

We are welcomed to the Royal Rumble with a promo video before we transition into the theme song "Let The Madness Begin" by Fozzy.
The pyros click off around the arena. We are welcomed by each Smackdown, ECW, and Raw. Each brand talks about their primary matches and the Royal Rumble, each hoping their brand takes the victory.
5-Pack Challenge for the Intercontinental Championship
- Dolph Ziggler makes his way out to the ring first, awaiting his challengers. - The music of Jeff Hardy plays and he comes down to the ring with his brother Matt at his side, Matt, not being a former Intercontinental Champion, is not competing. - Up next is Booker T to a good pop from the Atlanta crowd. - He is followed by Rob Van Dam, probably the favorite in the match. - And lastly out comes the Big Red Machine, Kane.
The bell rings and we are underway. Ziggler stays back as Kane goes after RVD well Booker and Jeff go at it. Some nice action between all of them to kick it off, and we are reminded that it's a first fall victory. Kane hits a big boot on RVD and Ziggler runs over trying to steal one, but the Big Red Machine breaks it up. He grabs Ziggler by the throat and pushes him to the corner before Booker attacks from behind. We get some more scrambling going on before Jeff and Booker go to the outside. We have RVD working on Kane before Ziggler comes over to RVD. Some transitions of momentum between those 3 for a minute or so before Jeff gets back in to work on them all. Jeff manages to execute the Twist of Fate on Van Dam in the mix, well Matt attacks Booker on the outside well the referee is distracted. Kane then begins to clean house with tons of clotheslines and uppercuts. He even delivers a chokeslam to Hardy, causing him to roll out of the ring. He goes for a double chokeslam on Ziggler and RVD, but they both kick him in the gut and throw him to the mat. The teamwork fades fast as Ziggler takes down RVD with a dropkick. We spread out with lots more action, and Ziggler goes for the Zig Zag but RVD pulls himself away. He gets advantage and Booker and Jeff both get back in. RVD takes care of Jeff again, and Booker hits the Scissors Kick on Ziggler before Kane takes him out during the Spinarooni. RVD hits the 5 Star Frog Splash on Ziggler, but before he can pin him Kane yanks him up and chokeslams him to cover him for the 3.
Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Kane (9:49) **1/2
Kane celebrates his victory with his pyros from the corners of the ring. He takes hold of the IC Title well Striker puts over how this will be competition for the Smackdown community.
We cut backstage and see Paul Heyman, Tiffany, and Teddy Long. They are all chatting about how big the Royal Rumble will be tonight. Batista walks in and Paul says here's his pick to be the winner of the Royal Rumble match for the 2nd time tonight. Batista thanks him, and tells Paul he might want to gamble on that, he'll make a lot of money for himself. We are shown Kelly Kelly and Maria standing with a cart, being the tumblers. They roll it for The Animal, and he picks a number. He goes to open it as John Morrison steps in. Him and Batista stare down and Morrison tells him to calm down and if he isn't going to open it, go play with his ball. JoMo takes one of his own and opens it up, as does Batista. Morrison looks satisfied with his and Batista looks angry. Morrison looks over his shoulder and whispers that doesn't look so good, and shows Batista his number in taunt before stepping out, leaving Batista fuming.
Triple Threat Match for the ECW Championship William Regal© vs Ezekiel Jackson vs Vladimir Kozlov
- We go back to the arena, and we have Vladimir Kozlov make his way down to the ring aggressively. - He is followed by Ezekiel Jackson, who looks with a devious smirk at the Moscow Mauler. - Then lastly we have the ECW Champion, William Regal make his way to the ring.
The bell rings and all three men look around at each other. Kozlov steps over to Regal, who tells him to calm down. Jackson walks over and backs Kozlov up, telling him to think of last week. Kozlov is in rage, and strikes Jackson, then Regal as he applauds, dropping him to the mat. Kozlov and Jackson get into a fist fight, and Regal runs over attempting to clothesline both men down, but neither of them do. They clothesline the ECW Champion together before continuing their brawl. They then get some more complex moves in with clotheslines, big boots, and a couple suplexes here and there for the next couple minutes. Regal walks over and tries to roll up Jackson, but he kicks out and looks at him in anger. Regal backs up, only to be stopped by the body of Vladimir Kozlov. He turns and is hit with a huge big boot to the jawline. This leads to Jackson walking over to hit some more moves of his own, and he clotheslines Kozlov over the top rope. He grabs Regal's neck and yanks him up. He stalls him in a suplex for about 30 seconds, with the crowd roaring with cheers, and Jackson drops Regal straight down, and the champ seems dazed. He isn't finished though, and pulls him back up and does the same with a military press. After that, however, Kozlov gets into the ring and delivers a huge running Battering Ram to Jackson. He taunts to the crowd in a chorus of boos, before he turns to Regal and is hit with a boot to the gut and a running knee to the face, sending him to the mat. Jackson is starting to get back up, and Regal pounds on his back before being pushed away. Jackson takes Regal down in the corner and he walks to Kozlov. They fight back and forth before Jackson ducks a big boot and hits a large chokeslam. This causes Regal to run over and take out Jackson's legs, and pushing him through the middle and bottom rope before covering Kozlov and putting his feet on the ropes for leverage and stealing the win.
Winner and still ECW Champion: William Regal (13:41) ***
After the match, Regal is in huge celebration as if he had just won the World Series, Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, and NBA Championship all in one night. Kozlov is raging with anger as Regal taunts to him as he backs up the ramp.
We go to the office again, and Tiffany says ECW has some great talent in the Rumble match, and they need to expect something huge. Heyman says ECW has turned to crap every since Vince got it. Before anything else can be said, Teddy breaks them up as Zack Ryder comes into the office. He introduces himself to Teddy and Heyman. He walks to Kelly and Maria and flirts with them a bit as they do their tumbling. Ryder picks a number and shouts his "Woo Woo Woo" in praise of a good number. He walks out smirking. Heyman calls him a fruit.
We then get a video package for John Cena and Randy Orton's feud.
WWE Championship John Cena© vs Randy Orton
- Randy Orton slowly makes his way down to the ring with a mixed reaction from the crowd, and he seems intent on winning already. - Orton waits in the ring and then out comes John Cena to a chorus of cheers, with a few boos. He salutes, and makes his way down.
The bell rings and they stare at each other, well Cole and Lawler put over the greatness of their feud, and it could all be settled here tonight. They lock up, with Cena winning it by pushing Orton to the corner. Orton seems calm and walks back out. They lock up again, this time Orton getting the win over it. Cena looks calm like Orton, but Orton doesn't do what the Champ did and kicks him in the stomach. He pulls Cena out to the middle of the ring and begins to deliver a combination of strikes and finishes it off with a dropkick. He lurks around like a hyena, and hits more strikes on Cena as soon as he rises. He works the champs neck a lot and applies a headlock in the middle of the ring. Cena tries to will himself on, with the hold wrenched in good. The crowd begins to chant his name and Cena begins to rise up a little bit, and he forces Orton over his shoulder. He mounts on top of him to get a bunch of punches of his own. This causes Orton to get out of the ring and Cena follows. They begin to trade blows on the outside, and both get in at the count of 8. Orton is up first and stomps down on him. Cena fights back fast though and eventually takes The Viper down with a shoulder block. He hits the 5 knuckle shuffle, and climbs the top rope. A huge leg drop from the top takes him back down. Cena goes for the pin, but Orton just barely gets his shoulder up. Cena pulls him up and strikes at him again. He delivers a huge protoplex before attempting to go for the STF, but Orton pulls himself away fast. The Champ walks over again to try and apply it, but he is kicked away. Once he comes back over, a mistake here, Orton strikes with a huge clothesline. This gives The Viper the advantage and he hits lots of offensive moves to the crowds disliking. Orton pulls Cena through the ropes and hits the stalling DDT, taking a lot of time to do this. He begins to prepare for an RKO. Cena begins to stir, and rises to his feet. Orton jumps for the RKO, but he is pushed away. He rebounds off the ropes and is hit with the Attitude Adjustment! Cena covers him, but Orton gets his foot nearly on the bottom rope. Cena begins to get angry and delivers vicious strikes before yanking Orton to the outside and throwing him into the steel steps. He pulls The Viper back in after smashing his head off the steel post. Cena climbs up for another leg drop, and delivers. Orton rises up in pain, and Cena hits the shoulder block again, and immediately goes for the STF. He once again gets stuffed and can't get it on. He is completely in rage and awaits Orton to rise. When he does, and turns around, he lifts him for the Attitude Adjustment again. He shouts to the crowd, but Orton pulls himself off to his feet, and ducks the punch and delivers a devastating RKO, dropping Cena straight on the top of his head! He covers him; 1... 2... 3. Orton is the champion again.
Winner and NEW WWE Champion: Randy Orton (19:43) ****
Orton rises back up and yells something at Cena. The referee hands him the WWE Championship, and he raises it up high. He eventually gets out of the ring, well Cena gets on his hands in knees in disappointment. He punches the mat, before rolling out of the ring. The crowd claps for him, but he isn't finished here. He storms over to the time keeper and throws him out of his seat. He takes the steel chair and wraps it around the steel post with one shot. He kicks over steel steps and is completely p.o.'d. He walks up the ramp and yells in rage. He goes backstage.
We go to the General Managers' office again, and this time Teddy promotes Raw winning the Rumble. In comes Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Teddy puts over D-X being one of the greatest ever. Hunter brags a bit about that well Shawn picks his number. HHH asks Shawn to get him one, but HBK says no and walks out. Hunter makes the excuse Shawn is just pumped up for the Rumble. He takes a number, opens it, and sighs a bit. He says he can deal with it.
Diva's Championship Maryse© vs Gail Kim
- Kim makes her way down to the ring first, crowd with a little pop. - Then out comes Maryse, the crowd more caring about her body then her in-ring abilities (at least the men).
The bell rings and Kim immediately takes control with tons of strikes to Maryse's disliking as she screams for her to back off. The referee splits it up and Maryse yells some French at her, and Kim walks back over only to have a slap to the face. The Diva's Champion takes some control of her own with lots of strikes to Kim's back and a few pretty powerful moves for a Diva. They both collide with clotheslines each and are left on the mat together. They both manage to rise to their feet eventually, and Maryse kicks Gail in the gut before hitting a kick to the face. Kim seems actually hurt off that, so Maryse begins to take it a bit slow. A few basic moves to keep it going, and Gail begins to fight back with a huge hurricanrana. Gail gets lots of moves of her own such as suplexes, dropkicks, simple kicks, simple punches, and a spinning clothesline. Maryse is then cornered and hit with a kick to the face. Kim backs up and does cartwheels, and attempts the elbow but Maryse moves. She connects with a beautifully maneuvered French Kiss to lay Kim out and covers her for the victory.
Winner and still Diva's Champion: Maryse (7:13) **
Maryse taunts her win after the match and we get some highlights from the match, especially the French Kiss DDT that hit so smoothly.
We then go backstage to see Savannah. She welcomes John Cena, and she asks him about losing the WWE Title. Cena takes the mic: "You know, when I signed that contract to face Randy Orton with my WWE Championship to be on the line... I also signed myself away if I lost it. This was the complete final stand with no loopholes. Nobody, no matter what power they may have, can allow the loser of the match to have another shot at the WWE Title as long as that other man is the champion. So now that I have no way of getting my shot at the WWE Title again... I am just going to have to prove to everybody that I am still worthy of being known as the Champ even when I don't have that gold over my shoulder every time I walk down to that ring. This isn't about anybody else anymore, this is just about me... John Cena is going to show he is still number 1."
After that, we go to a video package highlighting The Undertaker and CM Punk's feud over the past couple months.
Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship CM Punk© vs Undertaker
- CM Punk makes his way down to the ring first, seeming confident but knowing what he's up for. - Then we have the long and eerie entrance of The Undertaker.
The bell rings, and the Last Man Standing Match is officially under way. Taker steps out, and Punk follows up. They begin to lock up, but Punk pulls out and hits lots of kicks to start it off. He takes Taker to the corner with more strikes, beginning to change things up a bit. They begin an exchange, and Punk gets more and more behind with Taker's strikes. He delivers one hard one, driving the Straight Edge champion to the mat. He backs up, and Taker follows only to be kicked with a low blow. This brings him down to the mat and Punk begins to pound on him viciously. Punk gets more brutal with each strike by delivering them to the forehead each time he swings his fist down. He keeps this going on for a minute or so before getting out of the ring. Taker is shaken up, and catches his breath as he begins to get to his feet well Punk gets back in with a steel chair. He clocks the Dead Man with it, and drops him down with another one. The referee begins to count, reaching 5 before Taker can get back to a knee. Punk hits him again, this time the referee reaching 6. This keeps going up until the 8, and Taker ducks the chair shot. He rises back up and strikes Punk hard. He catches a chair swing and pulls it away, and clocks Punk in the back with it. Taker decides he doesn't need it and tosses the chair away before booting Punk in the face. The referee counts to 4 and Punk is back up, only to get hit with another boot, this time sending him out of the ring. Taker climbs to the top rope and as Punk rises, he goes for the clothesline, but the Champion avoids it. The referee gets out and begins to count Taker down. He gets to 3 only and Taker is up thanks to the barricade. Punk takes advantage and throws Taker's face into the steel steps, but the Dead Man isn't finished off at all yet and he punches back and throws Punk into the steps. He pushes him slightly in the ring, and leaves the head out. He gets on the apron and delivers the "vintage Undertaker" leg drop. Punk collapses on the outside. He is counted for a 7 before rising back up. Taker delivers more strikes, taking Punk all the way towards the ramp. He punches him up the ramp, but Punk fights back with strikes of his own. Taker grabs him by the throat for a chokeslam halfway up, but Punk drops him with a DDT reversal and the referee begins to count. He gets to an 8 before Taker sits up, and rises to his feet. Punk punches him viciously, and hits a low blow after ducking a punch. He walks back down to the ring, lifts the apron, and pulls out a ladder. He pulls it up and the ramp and hits Taker in the gut with it. This pulls him down for a 5 count, and he backs up a bit. Punk plows him over again, for a 7 this time. He quits with the ladder and strikes Taker some more. He tries to pull him up for a GTS, but Taker is to strong. He begins to punch Punk rapidly, and he gets the upperhand with a huge big boot. He doesn't allow the referee to count and picks Punk up. He yanks him up for the Last Ride Powerbomb. He holds Punk on top of the ramp, but chooses not to drop him their and walks to the side of the stage, and drops Punk down into the equipment! The crowd roars for the spot, and the referee begins his count: 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... Taker rises up to a knee after catching his breath... 6... 7... out of nowhere, John Cena runs out and begins to strike Undertaker!... 8... He lifts Taker up onto his shoulders... 9... he drops him with the Attitude Adjustment and motions "You Can't See Me". He storms backstage in anger. The referee looks confused, but restarts his count. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... Punk begins to stir... 8... the crowd erupts in boos... 9... Punk gets to his feet, holding the side of the ramp... 10.
Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk (24:10) ****
This crowd, is completely in rage. They begin with a "Punk sucks" chant, into a "Cena sucks" chant as well. Punk manages to scoot himself up the ramp and raises the World Title after the referee rushed to get it to him.
Once again, we go backstage. We have Chris Jericho and Big Show enter. They say hi to Paul and Tiffany, and ignore Teddy. Show can't fit his hand so Jericho takes one for him. We see 3 numbers left in the tumbler. In steps Cody Rhodes, and he chats it up with the GM's. He says "Slim pickings" and takes one. Then comes Ted DiBiase. He says hi to Cody, and they stare. Ted tells him he might want to play it safe tonight, and stay out of his way. Cody reminds Ted he lasted longer last year, he'll win tonight. Ted takes one of the 2 numbers and Cody steps out. We here the door open, close, then open again. It closes, and all 3 of the General Managers, and Ted, look in satisfaction.
We cut to a Wrestle Mania 26 promo video before we can be shown.
Jim Ross is commentating for Smackdown, Todd Grisham for ECW, and Jerry Lawler for Raw.

Edge doesn't come out at first, then appears, removing his jacket quickly and running to the ring. He gets in and spears the hell out of a lot of people. He runs to Chris Jericho and clotheslines him over the top. Chris Jericho (21) is eliminated by Edge He then works at other people, and Big Show storms over, only to be hit with a series of strikes. The crowd is going nuts for the return of Edge. He takes a few shots from Show. This slows things down a bit. The ring is still scattering with action for the next couple minutes. Batista runs at John Morrison for a spear, but JoMo avoids it and Batista hits the steel post. Morrison takes advantage and hits a huge dropkick. He then works on eliminating Batista, and eventually manages to get him over! Batista (22) is eliminated by John Morrison Edge then gets a rampage back up a bit as DX stays off to the side forming a strategy. Edge manages to get hold of Booker and gets him over the top rope. Booker T (23) is eliminated by Edge However, as Edge begins to get his momentum back up, Chris Jericho gets back into the ring. He has a steel chair in his hands and he blasts Edge in the head with it. He yells at him saying he shouldn't of came back, and he begins to strike the bad leg of Edge. He steps out of the ring, telling Big Show to get him. He rains on everybody's parade, yanks Edge up, chokeslams him, then pulls him back up and military presses him to the outside. Edge (24) is eliminated by Big Show Things drift a bit more, with Big Show teamed up on by DX as Morrison and DiBiase strike at each other, well Rhodes stays away. However, thinks take a turn of events. DX begins to take out everybody. Everybody gets down after spinebusters, knees to faces, flying forearms, and Sweet Chin Music and a Pedigree on Big Show. DX is completely fired up, but out of nowhere, Shawn Michaels hits Sweet Chin Music on Triple H! The crowd is in complete shock as HBK selfishly takes Triple H over the top rope. Triple H (25) is eliminated by Shawn Michaels Michaels yells at Triple H it's every man for himself and he doesn't need him. He turns to be hit knocked over the top rope by John Morrison with a nearly perfectly executed clothesline. Shawn Michaels (26) is eliminated by John Morrison The ring is then split between the final 4. Ted DiBiase and John Morrison on one side, Big Show and Cody Rhodes on the other. Morrison battles Show well DiBiase battles Rhodes. Lots of action between all of them and the crowd is fired up. Some nicely executed moves from everybody, and Big Show spreads apart from all of them to take care of all 3. He taunts, the commentators putting over how he must be the favorite to win the match. All 3 men get back up, talk a bit and decide they need to team up. They go up behind Big Show, and grab him by the legs and waist, and manage to triple team throw him over the top rope. Big Show (27) is eliminated by John Morrison, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase The crowd applauds all 3 of them, before Rhodes begins to play dirty and cheap shots DiBiase and Morrison. He hits the Cross Rhodes on DiBiase before returning to his feet to defend himself against The Guru of Greatness. They each trade momentum with beautiful action packed moves, especially from Morrison. Rhodes begins to set up the Cross Rhodes, but Morrison pushes him into the corner. Rhodes comes running back only to be hit with a kick to the gut, and DiBiase grabs Rhodes, runs to the ropes, and tosses him over the top. Cody Rhodes (28) is eliminated by Ted DiBiase And then there were 2. DiBiase and Morrison get a standing ovation from the crowd. Mixed chants come from them, "DiBiase" "Morrison" go back and forth around the arena. They nod to each other, shake hands, and prepare for battle. Each man executes some basic moves on each other, but Morrison gets the upper hand and delivers a phenomenal superkick. He takes a risk and climbs the top rope. He goes for Starship Pain, but DiBiase gets out of the way. The arena sounds like the roof is going to blow off, and both men rise. DiBiase tries for Dream Street, but Morrison pulls off and goes for Moonlight Drive. DiBiase pushes Morrison off him. He comes back for a forearm, but Ted moves from that and hits Dream Street. Both men are down, and DiBiase begins to stir first. Morrison follows a little after. DiBiase begins to attempt the elimination, but Morrison delivers the Moonlight Drive. They are both down again. Deja vu, except Morrison rises first. As he tries to eliminate Ted, some elbows are thrown. DiBiase gets the upper hand and they both get to the middle of the ring. Morrison kicks DiBiase in the gut and goes for Moonlight Drive once again! DiBiase takes Morrison's leg and pushes him back to the ropes. Morrison tries to pull DiBiase over with a hurricanrana. They are battling so hard trying to stay in this. Morrison is slightly falling over the top and DiBiase is losing his footing. Morrison pulls himself back in but loses the hold and DiBiase drops back in front of him, and out of nowhere, he clotheslines Morrison over the top rope and both feet hit the floor.
Winner of the Royal Rumble Match 2010: Ted DiBiase (57:45) ****
Morrison is on his knees after as Ted celebrates his victory. He is on his knees in so much joy. The commentators put over how much of a battle this was between those 2. They say it was about Edge's return tonight, but Ted DiBiase overcame all 29 other men and won the Royal Rumble. Morrison gets in the ring after and congratulates Ted. They shake hands and hug a bit, before Morrison exits and lets Ted soak in the moment to end the Royal Rumble.

WWE Royal Rumble: Sunday 31st January 2010...Hmm, sounds like a pretty swift way to open up the show with Dolph Ziggler defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship, but a Five-Pack Challenge? Sounds like an odd number, but also, takes something away from the Royal Rumble if you ask me; takes five SmackDown superstars out of the equation. Hmm, not a fan of Kane winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship at all; I feel Dolph should have retained it or Rob Van Dam should have won it. Also not a fan of Jeff Hardy, Booker T or Rob Van Dam being in here, as they are shoe-in chances for Royal Rumble winners, so I am really not a fan of that. Great defense of the ECW Championship by William Regal [haircut in his graphic? NO!] over Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov. You went the right way about it, here. Just, another multi-man match? I feel it should have definitely been a singles match here and then the triple threat match. Awesome win for Randy Orton of the WWE Championship against John Cena, but I am not digging these two on pay-per-view again after Cyber Sunday. Do not let them feud into WrestleMania XXVI at all, please. See, the WWE Divas Championship should have gone before the ECW Championship match; a perfect filler. Maryse retaining the belt from Gail Kim is perfectly fine, though. It still served as great filler though, I suppose; great World Heavyweight Championship defense by CM Punk against The Undertaker in Last Man Standing rules. Lastly, great Royal Rumble, and Ted Dibiase winning was unexpected, but great. Shawn Michaels being eliminated by John Morrison is very interesting, though. As is Triple H by Shawn Michaels. I just am not digging Morrison and Dibiase being final two in the Royal Rumble at all. Dibiase winning solidifies a match with Dibiase and Randy Orton though, so I like it. A great show, but in my opinion, timing was off, the entire show rounded up to just over three hours long; they'd have definitely cut that down. Also, the order of matches was pretty iffy. The direction is somewhat clearer than before, though, of where the diary is going.

Ok not been following this so forgive me for not having a great knowledge of how you've been building up feuds. Personally I'm fine with the IC Title match opening the show but I'm not a massive fan of Kane winning the title, would have built up Ziggler well to get the win, personally I like to see he less experienced wrestlers get the mid-card titles but whatever. Nice to see Regal get the win, nice to see Orton take the title. Nothing wrong with the womens match, Great to see Punk grab the win and keep the title, don't really like seeing Taker go into Mania Champion knowing that he's going to win so glad to see the number 1 heel in the WWE holding the title. Great Rumble write up but I'm not a fan of DiBiase and Morrison being last as with Orton being champ it made the ending fairly obvious would have liked to see him there with a Shawn Michaels or someone like that. Really good to see DiBiase get the win however and l'm really looking forward to presume will be him feuding with Orton leading up to WM. Good show with a couple of iffy bits for me, really looking forward to see the build up to Wrestlemania.

Royal Rumble, interesting opening contest. Wasn't expecting Kane to walk out the Champion, and I don't really think it was necessary, I would rather see Kane in a non-title high card feud, but that's just me. Good to see William Regal retain the ECW Title here, but I hope Ezekiel Jackson gets the title soon. Randy Orton as Champion again isn't good for me, but that's because I'm not an Orton fan, I would rather see Cena retain here. Honestly, again, would rather see Gail Kim win the title here, but it doesn't bother me much. CM Punk over The Undertaker is decent, John Cena interfering is a bit iffy for me, can't understand why he would do that out of nowhere. DiBiase winning the Rumble is a good decision and most likely sets in stone the match between DiBiase and Orton. Now I see why Orton went over Cena earlier on.
Overall, good show, a few decisions I was unsure about, but you have definitely made some clear storylines and directions for your feuds with this PPV. I'll be reading more.

I'm now all about your Elimination Chamber Pay Per View, please tell me that your Elimination Chamber PPV is going to be as good, if not better than your Royal Rumble PPV, I expected my man Jericho to win it, guess not, but I was ecstatic that Edge returned while I thought that The Rated R Superstar was going to win it. Pretty happy about John Cena's heel turn, hope you turn him into the true rapper, the True Doctor of Thuganomics with his rapper gimmick returning. So what are going to be your feuds going into Elimination Chamber PPV? I'm just so overly excited for Elimination Chamber, I just so want to read it, that when u get to it, that it is everything that everyone hopes it is

- 5 pack challenge is cool. Kane with some gold is great. - Glad that Regal held on to the ECW strap. - Orton beating Cena is good. I hope Cena gets a good program leading into Mania. - Like the aftermath. Possible Cena heel turn? - Maryse retaining is good. Glad she did. - Oh I so called it bro! Punk is still champ, interested to see where you go with this. - I like the way you presented the rumble man. Dibiase as winner, I see a Legacy break up.
Good show. Seems like you know what you want to do with Mania.

Rumble was awesome. Liked the idea of the 5-pach challenge, but surprised to see Kane win. Liked the way the Cena heel turn was done, and a mania match with Taker seems certain. Rumble was good and Dibiase winning is a great way to start his big push, and I liked seeing Morrison get the rub as a final two remaining. Nice show. I'll be readng this.
