Two former champions backstage at Impact for 11/12

Warning: The following information contains a spoiler for tonight's TNA iMPACT! taping:

Former WWE tag champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart is currently backstage in Orlando for tonight's TNA iMPACT! taping. Neidhart was the longtime partner of WWE Hall of Famer Bret "Hitman" Hart and is expected to be used on-camera tonight.

For those wondering if this is a result of Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff's affiliation and a sign that more early 1990's wrestlers are headed to TNA (ie. Brutus Beefcake & the Nasty Boys), we're told that Neidhart was booked for tonight's show before Hogan and Bischoff signed with the company.

The show that is taped tonight will air next Thursday, 11/12.

Also

Former NWA and ECW Champion Raven is backstage at the TNA taping and will appear on tonight's show. It is assumed within the locker room that he is in on a short-term deal.

- Raven is backstage at tonight's taping in Orlando and according to Jason Powell he is scheduled to be a part of the Abyss, Foley and Dr. Stevie storyline. Raven was last used in TNA at Slammiversary back in June when he teamed with Daffney vs Abyss and Taylor Wilde in a Monsters Ball Match.


- Jason Powell is also reporting that Jim Neidhart will indeed be working the tapings. He is scheduled to face Black Machismo who is going to start a new angle where he takes on a series of wrestlers from the 80's.
