agreed they dont look like a collectors item they look like a little kids toy between the cartoonish carding and lack of detail on the figures they look very plain. oh ya and no accessories or belts friggin weak i mean I know thats what their main purpose is but Jakks always had a friendly balance between collector and kids. I know the deluxe ones will be better but I wish both lines were more collector friendly for all your sake I help mattel gets their act together and puts out a better product and hopefully not at the speed that dark knight figures took to put out. You can count me out mattel other then a few of Jakks TNA guys that I have always wanted in DA i'm pretty much finished collecting You are criticizing Mattel, and you have that absolute piece of sh*t figure in your sig? What do you mean by collector friendly? Explain this to me. As for belts...it took Jakks a year to introduce belts in the BC line, and those were only available as a TRU exclusive in a box set. Do you mean Mattel's Movie Masters line? Ok...so you are done collecting...so what?

These look really really good. The body types look very authentic even tho there are complaitns about ripped torsos but come on people let's be honest...Cena, HHH, and Batista are ripped individuals, as opposed to Big Show. I think Mattel got this right. Also dissapointed in lack of accessories but nothing Jakks accesories cant fix. I'm sure the belts will be awesome...fully detailed and painted. that will be so refreshing.

You rip the hell out of Mattel's figures in quite a few threads. Why? If you don't like them...why are you on a board that is only about Mattel's figures? You have already said you won'd be buying any of these...so why are you still here? I have a feeling you are one of those kids that doesn't have enough money to start a new WWE figure line, so you have to convince yourself that you really don't want them...because deep down you do. Get over it, and buy those crappy TNA figures if they ever come out.

Your feeling is wrong since 24 doesn't really qualify as a kid, I've got enough money to keep collecting and I'll be buying the superior TNA figures from Jakks

Mattel has sculpted kick pads which will only be used for Evan Bourne and got the figures in scale (and all the different lines are in the same scale). Jakks has over-sized head moulds, many re-used parts and body parts that aren't in proportion (E.g. DA/DI legs are far too long and some of the biceps are far too big).

I just prefer the overall look of them. Some Jakks figures have have bigger head molds but they still look more accurate than the ones Mattel have made for say Cena, Edge, Batista etc. The biceps on that Triple H figure are unbelievably huge, as I've said, Jakks likes to exaggerate the physiques a bit but Mattel have made it a joke, like the Triple H, Cena, Batista etc. Things like molded kickpad and scale you mentioned, I don't really care about, it just doesn't bother me at all, and those shoulder joints are horrible.

Personally i'd take scale and own molds over an extra bit of muscle on torso's ect any day. The lack of unique molds in DA and the overall look of them is why it looks like my jakks days are coming to an end :-\

If there are any wrestlers out there that you could get away with "exaggerating" physiques with, I'd say Triple H, Cena, and Batista would be at least in the top 5. Those guys are legitimately huge, cut, etc... But STING!? This Sting figure all of you TNA marks are so on about is RIPPED more than he's ever been in his career! But oh, he's so detailed.... right, like those awesome, unique sculpted pads on his thighs... wait, you mean that's just paint on the same legs every other Jakks fig has? Seriously, was the forum username "Jakks_Apologist" taken?

Triple H, Cena and Batista are big people yes, but Mattel exaggerated the hell out of their physiques, even when flexing, they arent what they look like in those figures. As for Sting, the rest of the figure made up for the torso, and its nowhere near exaggerated like the ones mentioned above either.
