it didnt have the finish but the Jarrett/Christian Against all odds match was based around it
oh Slammiversary 2006 ending was like montreal

Pretty sure there was Dude Love vs. Steve Blackman in 1998, where Dude had Blackman in an Abdominal Stretch and the bell was rung.

Pretty sure there was Dude Love vs. Steve Blackman in 1998, where Dude had Blackman in an Abdominal Stretch and the bell was rung. Yes, thank you. Just saw the match on youtube. Any idea what month in 1998 it was? |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't The Rock vs. Hollywood Hulk Hogan from No Way Out 2003 have a Montreal ending? For the life of me I cannot remember. |

For the life of me I cannot remember. this is what happened Hogan had Rock beat after a legdrop but then the lights went out and when they came back on Referee Slyvain Grenier was unconcious Rock won t after Ref Sylvain handed him a chair-he then belted Hogan and Rock Bottomed him for the win  |

Wouldn't Mankind/Rock in a I Quit match technically count? I know it wasn't the same as the SS97 finish, but they did ring the bell before Foley could really quit.

I didnt mind the Rock vs Mankind at SSeries 98 because unlike the others it actually served a purpose with Vinnies Corperation and Rocks heel turn.
