If you want t-shirts, entrance attire ect and 5 more points of articulation then yes, but since they are all in scale basic and elite will work together nicely.

i think for me its gonna depend on the figure. if its a a lower level guy ill prob just get the basic figure since its cheaper. that is unless they look really awesome or the playability is so much better

Well, you'd never really see some people I would think. What would elite Kane have? he has no shirts or entrance gear. Or Mike Knox? or many others?

Well if it were something unique they used then it would be cool. Would you pay Elite price for a Sheamus figure that just has his necklace? I'm just saying you might not see some people here, and you'd have to get Basic or something to have them.

Really unbelievable, Mattel managed it to get Deluxe and Normal Figures in Scale to each other. Something Jakks didn't manage. Big cheers for this!!!! Elite will be the perfect line to play and display, but all other figures will fit perfectly, I think.  |

I'm having a hard time deciding this as well. If only I could afford them all...
I think like most I'll have to wait until I get my hands on both the Elites and Basics to decide if I want to go All-Elite or pick-and-choose based on who it is and what they come with.
Add me to the list of people who want weapons and accessories for Elites who lack notable entrance gear.

I think I'm leaning towards the basic for the sheer fact that they are getting more of the roster sooner in that line. I may buy a few Elite for their accessories. Like MVP then when the basic comes out I'll add them to him.

I want that Elite MVP figure. It is perfection IMO. Not an MVP fan at all.. But they really did go above and beyond on his Elite figure.. That thing is a masterpiece.. Between the headband and his bling.. Incredible. But as far as the topic goes.. I'm going both ways.. I'm Bisexual when it comes to Basic and Elites.. I will buy both.. Because I need a Teddy Hart custom.. I need a few customs.. I'm sure that they will both help being in scale with one another and all.. But I'm starting my 2012 Fed with Basics.. Sure TNA, UFC, Elite and a select RA.. Hell.. Even Deluxe can join.. But The Basic Superstars line is where it's at for me Kudos again Mattel.. Can't wait to see Primo and Cryme Tyme. |
