Mattel figures are scale with Mattel figures. Mattel and Jakks are 2 completely different companies. Mattel is going to put out the type of figures that they want to put out. Honestly collectors amount for about 10% of their market. Kids dont care about the diffrences between Jakks and Mattel. Are you upset with the scale differences between LJN and Hasbro as well? Did you loose countless hours of sleep not being able to display your Hasbro and Jakks figures together? How many individual wrestlers/gimmicks did LJN put out? Its a mere fraction compared to the dozens upon dozens that Jakks made. RA is the most expansive wrestling line ever made. Mattel will NEVER make anywhere near the number of individuals that Jakks did. I can guarantee that. |

The reason Jakks isn't exactly to scale with Mattel is because Jakks isn't really to scale with Jakks. Jakks had ONE size - that's it. Unless a leg or head ran a bit taller or shorter, everyone was one size. Mattel has all of the figures to scale like they are in real life, using the standard Jakks size as their sort of baseline maximum. In the pics I've seen, the two Big Shows are face to face. Everyone else is to scale with Big Show. The only way Mattel could have made their figs to scale with Jakks would be to make all of their figs the same height. How could they have made their Jericho AND Show to scale with Jakks when both of theirs are the same general size? You can't have it both ways.

hm if Mattel manage to make all wrestlers different sizes to be more realistic might be tempted to sell what I have to start over. Not like I have a huge collection anyway

Jakks barely even acknowledged scale.
Finally we have a company who are willing to make people the right size...& folks complain they don't fit in with those crummy Jakks figures??
I thank whatever Gods are out there that they don't fit in with the Jakks figures.
Neither Mattel nor any of us will apologise for the higher quality of these new figures which, ofcourse, won't make them too compatible with the ultra generic Jakks cartoon bodies.

I think that the Mattel line is much better,there's no figures that's way to big or to bulky . I could never get into the Jakks line because they where all just way to bulky,even the small framed wrestlers.So I'm glad Mattel scaled down the figures

I still use my R3 Tech and TTL figs with my RA, although they're a bit off, they are still basically in scale. I'll be buying these no matter what, and I'll also buy RA off people who want to "revamp" their collections. Yeah, I have my Crash Holly, and he looks OK with the RA figures. Also I have TTL Dudleyz. |

I do the same, in my current fed I have: TTL Angle w/ hair- will replace with TNA angle if his TNA fig is not too tall TTL Jericho- will replace with Mattel Jericho if its any good TTL Hardcore Holly TTL Raven- fits in great with RA size TTL Rikishi- still a great figure TTL Tazz- should have his CS fig arriving any day now to replace it TTL Road Dogg Finishing Moves Rock- love the articulation this fig has got, its perfect height with RA |

I grew up mixing Hasbro, early Jakks and hell even stuff like TMNT and Ghostbusters all fighting each other with different scales and sizes, so I guess the importance of perfect scaling between two different companies (even though now we actually get realistic scale) is lost on me. v  v |

I'd have been annoyed if Mattel figures were in scale with Jakks - which would mean basically everyone except Big Show would be the same size and have huge cartoon arms. |
