I swear I read this...WHAT? Isn`t that the ONE thing us collectors wanted most from Mattel? Didn´t they do interviews and questions as to what we wanted most from the line and we ALL stated that we wanted them to be in scale with Jakks!
I wouldn´t buy any of these. I don´t care how GREAT they are etc...If they are not in scale with what I have bought over 10 years then absolutely forget it.
Am I wrong? Did I get the wrong information?

I thought I saw a picture of a Mattel HBK and a Jakks HBK next to each other and they were about the same size?

Then why oh why did Mattel bother to ask us in the first place if they were already going to put out what they have? It seems their mind was already made up. How many responses did they get from the collecting community about scale to Jakks? I am pretty sure every member here stated as to their desires.
I am so disappointed.
I looked on Youtube for this video and cannot find it. ANy links?

WHere were you for the past half of year when mattel said they werent going to be in scale with Jakks RA's? The original jakks as in BCA or R3's are what they are in scale to. If you dont like it dont buy it simple as that....now quit your bitching

I'm pretty sure they will look OK next to each other. Sure Mattel might look better, or more realistic thinkness and such.

Okay, everyone calm yourselves.
THE only figures not in scale with Jakks are the ones that Jakks made way too big(IE Evan Bourne, Chris Jericho, CM Punk)
The Big Shows are basically the same size. Same with the Shawn Michaels' as mentioned above.
I, and a few other people have been saying this and no one has been listening, so there you go, you get bold letters.

Why is everyone so hung up on this?

Because we don't want to trash all our JAKKS nor do we want to keep them separate. We want them to mix.

Mattel figures are scale with Mattel figures. Mattel and Jakks are 2 completely different companies. Mattel is going to put out the type of figures that they want to put out. Honestly collectors amount for about 10% of their market. Kids dont care about the diffrences between Jakks and Mattel. Are you upset with the scale differences between LJN and Hasbro as well? Did you loose countless hours of sleep not being able to display your Hasbro and Jakks figures together?

TBH after watching the comparison video a while back,i had r tech 3 scott hall,RA stone cold and a tna bobby roode in my hands while watching it, and was comparing sizes in my own little experiment. it really comes down to how fussey you are,if your not you could mix wrestlers like hbk, triple h and a giant big show with them, but in my opinion the RA and mattel just dont go. for me the rtech 3 are in perfect scale with them, and rtech 3 dont go with RA.

Sure not all of them will be perfect, but they are pretty close. At least these will FINALLY be on scale with each other, people.

From the video I'd say they are fine together. Mattel is just better, since Punk and Jericho are actually smaller.

I still use my R3 Tech and TTL figs with my RA, although they're a bit off, they are still basically in scale. I'll be buying these no matter what, and I'll also buy RA off people who want to "revamp" their collections.

The mattel line looks great, kinda sucks its not the same scale as jakks but they are trying something different and thats cool. The figs they have shown us look 10 times better in quality to what jakks have given us, and jakks have given up on us for nearly 2 years now with some very below par sets, not all bad but could have been so much better

Are you upset with the scale differences between LJN and Hasbro as well? Did you loose countless hours of sleep not being able to display your Hasbro and Jakks figures together? Not so much. My house burned down with all of my LJNS in them...I started over the next year with Hasbros... So now I stand corrected. I have been out of touch with the wrestling community living here in Mexico for the past three years...I have seen the Youtube and am in agreement now. I liked the Mattel sculpts and the scale issues don´t bother me. It is pretty close enough.
