EDIT: JUST NOTICED THE 1/1,000 THING THEY'RE DOING... I suppose I'll change my question to: Do you think they'll stick with the fabric straps? Especially since they are doing leather-like material instead of foam with the kids belts... I know there's the official thread, but, I figure its time to break this board in, so, let's get a discussion going about this 'belt.'  I'm a little iffy about this, and I hope Mattel makes the belts currently in the WWE. Perhaps this is just a filler for the proto or something too. On the plus side, the strap looks like its leather/vinyl/fabric instead of plastic, so I am excited about that. Thoughts? |

I don't like that. I wish they would do a 1/500 thing with all of the belts eventually being made and not just the WWE Undisputed, WHT, and ECW title. I want a 1/500 US, IC, Women's, Diva's, and Tag Team belt not the same one over and over again like Jakks did. .

Cant see why mattel wouldn't make every belt in the WWE at some point through the year but that belt seems to be a "special welcome to mattel" kind of promomtion, well to me anyway. Does have "XXXX/XXXX" on it so think they will have the number of each belt on. Same about it been some kind of leather ect been cool and exciting. Hope they keep a more flexible strap for all the belts. |

I think that belt looks really stupid, but like Dastardly said its just a welcoming gift, so that 5 yrs from now ppl can say they got one of the belts from the 1st series.

The belt looks nice for what it is, the belt will most likely be replaced with either the World or WWE belt once they get the protos.

I don't think the belt will be replaced, it has the spot on it for the 1 of 1000 to be marked.

I think its a great idea for the launch to do this, hope its worldwide.
And now that you mention it, i think mattel really might keep leather for the belts.
