Ok, This Is just a thread...about....um, Mattel figs and Jakks figs. Comparisons, and price ranges. Mattel's Version of a DA Figure: $14.99 Comes with: Clothing item. Jakks Deluxe Aggression Figure: $10.00 - $13.00 (Store Price) Comes with: Weapon of some sort. So what do you guys think? Yeh or Meh for DA?

The main thing that put me of about jakks DA's were the scale and legs were alittle to loose for my liking :-\ The scans were great though.
Mattel's coming with cloth clothing and will be the same size as the other lines is a big plus.
Price range isn't that much more anyway, but still dont know what the prices will be in the UK yet for that to effect my decision on them.

Meh for DA, because Jakks will miss details and not be to scale. I am actually likening Mattel's products and I am planning on picking some up

I liked Jakks DA untill they started leaving tons of detail out! I cant wait for Mattels DA! plus they are the same size as the basic figures which is great! I was always bumned on how great the DA Lex was to my RA Lex

Mattel Elite easily and hopefully their clothes won't ruin figures.

^^ i agree, as long as the shirts/jackets don't stain the figures I'll be a happy camper

looks like no articulation on the arms of the undertaker and edge jacket sleeves....maybe mattel took the idea i had for a while about making slip off rubber coats- some kind of slit on the sides or the back area that can go unnoticed and still make the coats look good.

Yeah i have no cluee how the jackets will work, maybe they aren't as stiff as the ones where used to on the jakks figures.
Anyway all the way its Elite Collection for me!

The Taker and Edge jackets don't look like they can come off whereas Jakks figures at least have the middle part as being removable. Jackets are the only things I'd want on the figures anyway, when it comes with cloth t-shirts, it resembles more of a doll than a figure. Not too keen on the Edge and Punk scans in those pics anyways, so I'm going with Jakks' DA line.

Does that Edge scan mean Mattel has LJN style edition figures too?

It looks like Target and Edge's jackets are removable soft rubber jackets like Toy Biz did with TNA figures.

Those jakks products dont even turn out like that. Jericho will have stupid normal boots with no designs and orton will look ridiculously tanned. Mattel however have got specific bodies and give us REAL accessories for the stars not 1000 times produced weapons. Mattel Elit > Jakks DA.
