So I'm new to collecting figs. I noticed belts are pretty rare to come by in the Deluxe Aggression line, and I don't really want to buy them online for ridiculous prices nor do I want to buy RAs just to get a stinking belt that's not painted. Therefore, I made my own. I measured the waist of my Johnny Nitro and inputed the measurements into Photoshop. I made a template for the plates on the belt and copied and pasted the elements I got from a JPEG of the title into it. I then printed it out and taped them onto the belt outline I made with an index card lmao. It's pretty cheap, but it gets the job done I must say. They're pretty painless to make. I made templates now so I can just copy and paste the plate images from any belt into it and print and assemble. ~paq

Nice job, it looks good and its pretty simple. I used to do that but mine would always rip and tear, I never thought about using tape. It's simple but it gets the job done, nice work.

The key to not getting it to tear is re-enforcing it with tape. Before I even put the plates on I put a layer of clear box tape over the black outline before cutting that out. Why box tape? Well, it's quite large so you can cover the entire 5 inch outline in one go instead of using several pieces of scotch tape. I've been doing this stuff for YEARS lol...
If I had black duct tape I'd put that on the back before doing any cutting. That stuff would ensure the belt would last the test of time and make it look great. Hopefully I can pick some up soon.
