as most of you know I posted protos of mattels WWE line and they got taken down for obvious reasons, anyways everybody wants to know how they will look like when they are painted. well I just saw the Mattel Ghostbusters line and the paint looks great! if this is any indication of how Mattel will paint the WWE line than I can wait for 1/1/10! what do you all think? also the packaging is amazing!   |

The painting does look great on them, seriously cant wait to see the final figures from mattel and actully get ahold of them, new year hurry up  |

Sometimes, Mattel's stuff is sloppy (many people on the He Man boards complain about this...though I have yet to get a MOTC Classic with bad paint apps). At the intro of the line, the quality will be as high as possible, though.

They should be fine in the paint department. Although it'll be a little unfair to compare them with stuff like MOTU or Ghostbusters figures, since they go for 20 bucks a pop and aren't retail products.

I'm so excited for the Ghostbuster line, but I'm more excited for the WWE line! I really hope they go all out with the paint job. From what I've seen from the protos is that these could be awesome figures. The only thing that could screw them up is sloppy paint. But I don't see why they would go make these great molds and not paint them perfectly. So I hope we are good!!

Sometimes, Mattel's stuff is sloppy (many people on the He Man boards complain about this...though I have yet to get a MOTC Classic with bad paint apps). At the intro of the line, the quality will be as high as possible, though. If Mattel shipped a free figure to everyone on that board, they would still find a way to complain about it. And then they would start a petition. |

Hopefully mattels products come out something like this, being a larger company than jakks, they could probably afford it.
