The British Invasion's Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus defeated Team 3D to win the IWGP Tag Team championships at the currently ongoing TNA Impact taping. We'll have full spoiler results later tonight.

Might be a stupid question but will New Japan recognize it as an official title change? I'm not sure. TNA might've gotten the "green light" from New Japan for the titles to switch hands. I'm not sure, but they should.  |

My guess is NJPW had to approve the title change, not like it matters. They have the G1 coming up, they really don't care about those titles for a bit. Plus if they send the Brits over Magnus can learn how to wrestle.
