Okay, so I've taken the liberty of enhancing the lighting of the Mattel teaser page. Its not completely revealing, but it has highlighted some detail that collectors may find useful. I chose to do this because I know that some do not have the software to do this themselves. First, the head: This should confirm for all what many suspected already, it IS indeed HHH. This head is very similar to his TTL headscan that so many are a fan of, at least from what is visible. Next, the arm: In this pic, you can see the hand detail, wrist tape and finger tape, as well as some muscle detail. But what is perhaps the most telling is the elbow pad. It appears that Mattel will go with removable pads as well. Last we come to the torso. For this one, I've prepared two pictures for you to study, as this detail is based partially on my speculation... Pic #1: Now, in this pic you get a small glimpse at some inner-bicep muscle detail, but the more important detail is what is barely visible. If you look closely at the torso, you can see what appears to be the highlighted edge of a Deluxe style torso articulation. You can barely see it, but I'm almost certain its there. Pic#2: A red clock this isn't. I've circled the area and further highlighted the phantom joint in red. Compare the two pics and make your own conclusion. I'm calling it now; Mattel will be using the DA torso articulation on these just like they do on the MOTU figures. Discuss/Comment/Rant

Haha, HHH as most of us said.
It looks ok cos HHH does look really like that. But for people like Jamie Noble or Orton? I hope they won't be too He-Man-like.

Thanks for the pics.
It does indeed look like Mattel will be making the WWE figures with similar if not the same articulation as their He-Man online series. Which is probably a good thing as I prefer the ball jointed hips and not the DCUC style.
They might not make double jointed knees though, so those who play with their figures might have a hard time with that.

You know, i think people have the wrong idea. I think people may be thinking that mattel will do these superhero like figures, but since this is HHH, he is one of the few stars who actually look like this superhero kind of character. I knew from first glance it was HHH, and by the looks of what you highlighted, it seems as though these figs may turn out to be quite good after all. Thanks for doing this man, appreciate it.

i just hope they are the exact same size as RAs. cos them saying they will be original jakks scale is ambigous. it could mean BCA scale (as in the original first series of jakks wwf figures) or it could mean RA scale (as in the original--just-before-mattel figures). but my instinct suspects the former, sadly. when will toy companies learn... new collectors and kids will buy them whatever the scale. some jakks collectors will only buy them if they are to scale with RA... what POSSIBLE sales advantage is there to making them smaller than RAs...

To the OP, I agree with everything you said, except for the articulation. I believe that shadow is accually the strap of a title belt. i just hope they are the exact same size as RAs. cos them saying they will be original jakks scale is ambigous. it could mean BCA scale (as in the original first series of jakks wwf figures) or it could mean RA scale (as in the original--just-before-mattel figures). but my instinct suspects the former, sadly. when will toy companies learn... new collectors and kids will buy them whatever the scale. some jakks collectors will only buy them if they are to scale with RA... what POSSIBLE sales advantage is there to making them smaller than RAs... They want you to HAVE to buy all their figures, not just the new guys, or all new attire. This way you either quit collecting, don't care about scale, or buy all new Cena, Triple H, and Undertaker figures to fit in with your new collection.

Interesting to see...thanks for doing that. I figured Mattell would be doing removeable pads, its kind of a given. I'm still not sold on them mainly because I can't justify spending more money on a brand new collection.

I just observed the normal image and it does look to be too far off the torso to be some piece for articulation, a belt is quite likely. Just it looks a tad small.

Well I am glad they are going with a realistic look, now we only have to hope that they provide us with the distribution that we are used to from Jakks.
