Yeah, Barca will get off with a nothing fine for them and maybe banned for the coming winter window that Spanish clubs barely use anyway. And Chelsea, Real Madrid only clubs through to the semi's so far... are we finally gonna get the match? Absolutely praying we get either of the Madrid Sides. I'm looking into driving the whole way there and doing a little trip through Barcelona/Monaco/Turin/Lyon on the way back. My mate who's a ST Holder has just got back from Wrestlemania XXX funnily enough so doubts he can get the time off work so said I can have first dibs on his Ticket. Real Madrid would be an absolute spectacle and Atletico would be a cracking atmosphere. Still not done Madrid yet either. |

I think the League will be Barca's now that Atletico are in Europe and Barca aren't. Could end up being a trophyless Season for Atletico despite doing so well.

The moment the dates were announced the airlines put their prices up to £600 Return Flights. Even looked at flying to Seville, Alicante or Barcelona and getting trains but the trains were around £120 on top of the flights too. In the end booked another 24 hour Coach and Hotel to Madrid. Absolutely cannot wait now.

Atletico top with a game in hand. Crazy. As much as I like Real I'd live Atletico to do a league and Champions League double. Would be a real statement.
What a slip up by Barca though.

I just think it'd be brilliant if Athletico Madrid won the title. Shows that hard work, determination and team spirit can overcome spending millions every season. Plus they have some real quality themselves and it's nice to see the Barca/Real monopoly broken for the first time in a decade.

Beyond gutted. The Coach Company I booked to go to Madrid with has cancelled the Trip, the night before the Tickets went on sale. I had no email or phone call, if I didn't go on the website randomly and notice it was pulled I wouldn't even of known and would of spent a further £70 on Tickets this morning. Apparently they couldn't fill one single Coach, which surprises me since all the flights were £500+. Heartbroke!

Christ Chelsea are boring. Any other team in the world I'd say would attack at home and Atleti would do them on the counter, but Jose has no shame and will happily defend in his own box at the Bridge for 120 minutes before trying his luck at penalties. Will love it if Atletico get to the final, they deserve it 100x more.
Big game tonight. Hope Real win for an all-Madrid final, but ok with Bayern too. Don't want Bayern to win the whole thing because I like the whole 'no one has ever retained the CL' thing. Really want Atleti to win the CL, but would be happy with Real too.

Barca's transfer ban has been suspended pending an appeal. They will be able to sign players this summer at least.

I'm hoping for an Atletico vs Bayern final because I can see it being a better match where if any other combination I fear we could be talking about it in a few years for the wrong reasons.
