Anyone catch this? Never seen anything like it before: Yeah I saw that. Anyone know what happened after? Did they play the Game or what? No they're awarding Sociedad the win. Bit like forfeiting on FIFA I guess.

Ref called it off. Players didn't even try and score. I'd have been dribbling right down and chipping it up and hitting overhead kicks myself.

Refs in Spain are a disgrace. Both Madrid clubs have had appalling decisions against them recently.

Mental goals from Bale and Calhanoglu today. Aye, wish he was still doing that for us.

That Calhanoglu goal was ridiculous. Dortmund having a shocker this year. Barca trailing 3-1 at Sociedad at the mo, always have dodgy results there!

I said ''so called'' not ''officially the best'' Didn't know anyone was still calling Barca the best. Everyone has been raving about Bayern for the last 9 months and some before that.

I said ''so called'' not ''officially the best'' I don't think anybody calls them the best, and haven't done for the last two Seasons. I still don't think anyone will maybe ever meet the heights of footballing perfection that the 2011 Barca side played, but this current Bayern side are certainly better than what Barca have been the last couple of years. Under Guardiola they're showing they can ball like Barca, but they're also an athletic unit.

It was a dig at fanboys tbf, not saying that any of us are fanboys though.
They may not have Pep but I fail to see their slight decline (age maybe, certainly with Valdes & Puyol), they've hardly changed the squad at all and play the exact same way.

Mental how opinions change. Barca were the best team of all time 2 years ago, and now almost the exact same squad is considered pretty average.

Don't know if I'd go that far Compared to a few years ago yeah. Average is not a word that applies to Barca. Hull are average, Norwich are average. Barcelona are still world class and can beat anybody on their day. Just because they haven't won the CL in 3 years doesn't make them average. If that's the case Real Madrid are completely subpar.

They have an equal head-to-head record in La Liga and the Copa del Rey from 2011 until now. Barca have a better head-to-head Super Cup and CL record. Barca have also won more trophies in the past 3 years. They're about equal but if you were going to say either one was superior, you'd have to say Barcelona. Anything else is bias.
