This is my first time posting here on the customs board, also this is my second time at painting. So please give me any feedback or pointers. The story is i ordered the AD 35 Bourne/Mysterio set from RSC, it turned out i got the Version with the less detail on Bourne. Today i decided to do a little fix up. WTF? Talk about unlucky with the lack of detail.
Also, paints a lil chunky. Not completely straight. But I couldnt do any better.
But meh. The details make the fig alot better than it was.

Yeah, you should really slow down with the painting there. The best thing about doing small fix-ups like this for your own personal pleasure, is that you can take your sweet time to make them look as clean as you can.
This just looks like you quickly ran the brush across the mid section and around the boots, and then scribbled over the little logos. The midsection and boots should be very easy for you to fix up with nothing more than simple patience. Its one thing to have your lines come off a bit crooked when you're new to painting, but its another to have the paint smeared around due to you rushing things.
I like what you were trying to do, and I tip my hat to you for trying to bring a little life to a dull figure. You just need to take your time when doing things like this.

I hate to say this but the painting on it is very sloppy, the white on there is wats killing it, the lines need to be straighter

Next time, put a few drops of rubbing alcohol in the paint, thins it out.

You have completely ruined your figure Well IMO i didnt ruin my fig,becuz when i first got the figure it had no detail at all-as you can see in the pic below. I like it, and thats what counts  NO-DETAIL!!!  |
