"I was just watching Smackdown and since I live near New Orleans I got to see a little deal for EXTREME RULES which is in New Orleans this year. And Josh Matthews said the main event (or one of) is Jeff Hardy DEFENDING the world title against Edge. And Then Jeff Hardy came in and said he plans to walk in champion and walk out champion.

And Extreme Rules happens AFTER Judgement Day..so I assume Jeff wins at JD then defends at Extreme Rules vs Edge in his rematch...seems like they messed up to me. "

I doubt this true. Since when the hell do they do special things for PPVs that include interviews with superstars? This is the very first I've heard of them doing a special for a PPV that includes anything like that.

I agree. Edge does desreve a long title reign. If the WWE lables him as the "Ultimate Opportunist", then wouldn't Edge take whatever opportunity he could to keep the belt?
He is probably THE top heel in the WWE today and he has been there forever. Edge obviously knows what he is doing.

What's really interesting is, in trying to get Jeff Hardy to stay (we won't even get into the question of why that's so important), they're likely pushing Edge out the door. Isn't his contract up in November? They aren't giving him much incentive to stay.

I personally would love to see Hardy with the title once again, it would make me happy. But it is true with the title seemingly turning into a joke being tossed around so much. For me it makes me not want to even attempt and keep up seeing as it be impossible with my schedule.

Where did you hear Edge's contract is up in Nov? Besides, I do not think Edge is going anywhere if you want my opinion. He evidently doesn't mind the reigns being short or whatever.
