I finished up some of my figures recently and will be be posting more soon. I had hip surgery this past Friday and am now starting to feel a little more like myself to post some of my work. More to come. Enjoy!
"Macho Man" Randy Savage:
I've been working with this figure off and on for a little bit now since I really wanted it to be what I would like a Savage to look like in my collection. The mustache, beard and hair are all fully sculpted and it's also fully painted. I never thought stars would be as hard to paint as they were with this, but I didn't want to use stickers as some do use. Credit goes to Ralph's Figure Clothing for the Robe and Head Piece..
Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli:
I re-did Johnny's hair and facial hair and made it more of the way he had it in WWE. I searched all over for tattoo references and found the best ones I could when painting these on. I feel the logo on the trunks turned out well and that it was an overall pretty fun figure to make of my fellow Italian..

Did you make sure to search for Rellik as well? He was the flavor of the month on here and everyone was doing customs of him, so maybe you can find better reference pics.

Nice stuff CMatarizzo, you are easily becoming one of my favourite customizers atm, because your work is outstanding. Macho's head looks pretty good, who did you make it from? Stamboli looks pretty sick too, you did a great job on his tattoos and modded hair. Keep it up! Rated R NinJa

one of the best savage heads in ages. Fantastic work, i may have liked the hair a tad darker, but mate, seriously, its fantastic.
Bull is also nice and tidy, clean and looks great.

Fantastic job on both of those! That Savage is one of the better ones I've seen recently. Whose head did you use? Was it Terkay? Doesn't matter, I guess- it looks great!

Savage's head is amazing! I think the way you did the beard is what really makes this custom sparkle. Now, the color of paint you chose for his head and beard is WAY off though. I would definitely go for something darker and less orangeish. But the sculpting is amazing and the little details in the beard really make this custom.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I was going for an early era Macho when his hair was lighter and more fried looking. I have been thinking about painting it darker though, which wouldn't be a problem. The head is a heavily modded Ivan Koloff and I think it turned out well. I will try and get better pictures of him up since I am not really happy with the lighting when taking the pictures. Thanks again!

Great job on both of these Chad. The Savage head actually works quite well. You got the beard for the most part(though it looks slightly off around the lip. Paint job is superb and really captures this era. Great job.
Stamboli is very well done. This looks like it could have rolled off the jakks assembly line. Tats look good and head is well modded. Great job.

Both are great work but man I am loving that Stamboli great Torso/arms choice and tats. The way Jakks should have made him IMO.
