It has been announced that joint owner and primary financial supporter, Mark Cuban, of the Dallas Mavericks, has pulled funding for UGW programming.

Episode #7 will mark the season finale of UGW season one. It has been a successful season, and we here at UGW would like to thank everyone for their support.
INJURY UPDATE
Reports indicate that Billy Kidman and Johnny Jeter suffered serious injuries during their last man standing match on Episode #6. Officials have stated that both men will be out of action indefinately. More details on this report on Episode #7.

Season one officially comes to an end with Episodes #6 and #7, set to premiere in the following weeks. However, the end is only the beginning of some new and exciting action in UGW. **TOUR UPDATE INFORMATION**
As the tour begins to wrap up, fans of UGW are anxiously awaiting what's in store. New developments have surfaced on the tour, of which fans will certainly be interested to hear. Fans can look forward to the following matches that have been added to the card:

The first ever REVOLT X champion will be crowned in a ladder match at a date to be determined.

In an attempt to find the most suitable #1 contender for UGW World Champion, Jockstar Johnny Jeter, Dana White has announced the first ever DOUBLE JEOPARDY. There are 3 challengers vying for a shot at the UGW World Title...Lance Cade, Chris Jericho, and Shawn Michaels.
1. Each challenger will have their match and their opponents randomly pre-selected for them.
2. The matches range from a variety available, including, first blood, steel cage, falls count anywhere, and so on.
3. Their opponent can be between one opponent or up to as many as six opponents at one time from the following list: Nick Nemeth, Mike Mondo, Johnny Jeter, Tomko, Lance Cade, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels.
**Wrestlers not selected for the match are barred from the arena.**
4. On the night the challenger will participate, his type of match is first selected followed by the selection of his opponent(s)...This is the Double Jeopary.
Neither Jericho, Cade, or Micheals will know their match or their opponents until the day of their respective Double Jeopardy.
5. If the challenger wins their Double Jeopardy, they will automatically be entered in the World Championship match at a later date to be determined.
6. If NO challenger wins the match, Johnny Jeter will not have to defend the title until after Freedomania.

Amy: Hello Everyone! Im Amy Dumas, and we're anticipating some very interesting developments and announcements concerning Genext Wrestling. Let's take you to the conference now.
Dana: Hello everyone! I'm sure some of you are surprised to see Mark and I up here. Maybe you're even a little dissapointed or disgusted.
Dana: Personal feelings aside, I'm proudly here to announce the creation of a brand new wrestling comany, birthed from the ashes of the great wrestling program, Genext.
Dana: I'm pleased to announce that Mark Cuban and I have purchased the rights, roster, contracts, and entities of Genext and the defunct American Wrestling Federation.
This purchase will take Genext to the next level, the Ultimate level! We present to you ULTIMATE GENEXT WRESTLING!
Dana: Now I'll take some questions...Yes sir?
Reporter: Yes, Mr. White, are you saying that we will see the Genext stars, their champions, and characters as part of the new promotion.
Dana: Absolutely! When Mark and I were approached about this endeavor, we were excited about the young talent and the possibilities that were available. It was really a no brainer. So yes, all the champions from GENEXT will carry over as respective champions of UGW.
Dana: Next question...
Reporter: Yes, Mr. White...With your ties to MMA, will we see an influx of MMA talent? And also, how does the Revolt X divission fit into this new promotion?
Dana: I have and always will respect the wrestling industry. And this promotion will be about wrestling. However, UGW wont be limited as to the talent we want our fans to be exposed to. If they want to wrestle, then there might be a place for the them on the roster.
Dana: As far as the Revolt X divsion, we are very excited to follow through with what we anticipate to be a very marketable and entertaining aspect of our programming. So yes, Revolt X is alive and well in UGW.
Dana: Next question...Go ahead.
Reporter: Yes, ummm, what will be Mr. Cuban's role in the new promotion and do you have a scheduled date for when UGW will debut?
Dana: You wanna take this Mark?
Mark: Yea, well, basically my role is pretty simple.
Mark: I'm more of the financial administrative component of this equation, and Dana will deal with more of the day to day operations.
As far as a scheduled debut date...we are looking at sometime in March but there's no set date as of yet.
Reporter: Will Pete Gruner continue his role in UGW?
Dana: Mr. Gruner has decided to take some time off, and he will not be apart of UGW. As Mark stated, I'll handle the bulk of the day to day operations but, probably with a less hands on role.
