Wouldn't be the ENGLISH premiership imo. Only real reason for clubs to play games abroad is if they are in Europe. This idea is ing stupid.

It'd be well... different :/ the NFL have tried it so all the american owners have probably pressurised the FA into doing something like that :/ im undecided.

Well I know Villa's owner Randy Lerner told the FA that just because the NFL held a game in London, the Premier League shouldn't make a return trip.

ing stupid. Ditto Agreed. Very bad idea, why should other countries see our countries matches being played in their countries. It is crap, why should we not be able to go watch these games. the NFL it is so ing boring, and Americans arn't fans of soccer, so why the should they get our league, they have their own and we don't wanna see that over here, were not ing trading. ing joke.

crap idea! Who the hell do companies put in charge these days? What an absolutely crappy idea!! All the bloody managers moan about their being too many matches in a season and not enough time to rest, so what do they do? They add another ing fixture! Why? Why would you do it? I don't think America could give a crap plus all the Japanese would be disappointed when they realise Beckham doesn't play for Man Utd anymore. Stupid intellectually- disabled FA! Where else is there to go? Australia? India? ing Uzbekistan?

In case anyone hadn't heard yet, Michel Platini, the head of UEFA (I think) has said he is against this plan as it will have a negative effect on the FAs of the countries that the Premier League wants to go to. he has also said that he very much doubts that FIFA will allow this anyway. The JFA (Japanese Football Association) have also said they wouldn't want the Premier League to come and play in Japan as they need to look out for their own league.
Some hope I suppose...

MOTD would be quality the week they do it. Imagine the last game of the show, Birmingham City V Blackburn Rovers, from the Nou Camp.
Personally, I'd love to fly out to the US and stuff once a year with Chelsea.

its the next wave for the progression of the league...i like the idea of it...people from other countrys who have emigrated there or just picked up on the PL and started following a team get to see them in there country...
although, i think it wont happen really...the US dont really want it in their country beacuse it'll take away revenue from the MLS and its the same in Japan...there right like...if you could see Columbus Crew vs LA Galaxy or West Ham vs Man Utd who would you choose?!
im not sure if making it part of the league is such a good idea...possibly making it a cup competition...

Sepp Blatter has done something right for a change.. www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3148452,00.html If England go trough with the global plans, England might be banned from bidding for the World Cup
