According to PWInsider.com, Ric Flair has agreed to terms with World Wrestling Entertainment to induct "Stone Cold" Steve Austin into this year's WWE Hall of Fame and be a part of Wrestlemania XXV.
Austin requested Flair as the one to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame. Despite bad blood between certain WWE officials and Flair, Austin has enough pull them together.

Why? Thats just stupid... keep Flair off of my TV.
There no ( none, zero, 0, zip ) reason Jim Ross shouldn't induct Austin.

Why is Flair inducting him? I think it would someone else (Rock, McMahon, Ross, etc) that actually has some kind of connection to Austin. Unless I'm forgetting something with him and Flair.  |

I don't see why everyone cares so much. It's one night Flair's going to be on TV. Yeah, Ross was the choice I expected, but I don't mind Ric inducting Austin at all, he'll be on TV for maybe 3 minutes.

Im assuming that Austin probably idolized Flair growing up. You have to remember before StoneCold Steve Austin, it was Stunning Steve Austin with long blond hair, flashy attires and fancy robes. Very Ric Flair like. Also if Im not mistaken Flair really stood up for Austin in his WCW days to give him a lot of singles pushes when guys like Herd, Watts and Bischoff didnt want to push him

IMO, they should keep Flair to induct to Shawn Michaels when Shawn Michaels get hall of fame. And use Vince McMahon to inductee Austin.

They try to keep kayfabe with Taker around wrestlemania and the Austin-Taker feud wasnt really that great to have one of them induct the other. Now if everyone would read my above post you would see why Flair and Austin tie in well together |
