Edge comes back out to pyro. Gets in ring. Claims to have nothing to do with what happened to Jeff.
Edge says a true champ like him never whines or complains and overcomes all obstacles. Matt runs down to attack Edge and they're outta here!
After they disappear through the crowd Shelton Benjamin comes out. It's Gold Standard v. Undertaker non-title!
Taker's bright pyros allow me to see they tarped off the areas of hard camerside where nobody was sitting.
Crowd pops for snake eyes big boot and leg drop. Undertaker goes for old school a second time and benjamin crotches him. (Benjamin also blocked the first try.)
Benjamin counters a chokeslam into a near fall too. Taker is giving him a lot in this match.
Benjamin makes a classic "jump into the guy's guard" mistake and Undertaker applies a choke for the tapout with his legs
Chavo Guerrero comes out and cuts a promo. Says no matter what Triple H says he is not a gopher, he's a Mexican warrior.
Great Khali's music interrupts - new happy go lucky Indian pop music. I miss the sinister overtones and Bengal tigers. It's Khali v. Chavo.
Khali b Chavo with the double arm chokeslam. The match was short and Khali was over so this wasn't nearly as bad as you'd think
Vickie promises Edge a no-DQ match with Matt Hardy backstage and tells him to MAN UP~! Incidentally we never got Taker's "edict."

Bella Twins v. McCool and Natalya. I think I'd rather watch the Beautiful People get slimed.
Mercifully Maria does a run-in to attack McCool and the match is thrown out.
Maria gets a beatdown and the heels leave triumphant. Bella Twins help her to the back.
Vickie finds Hunter backstage and says if he loses to Koslov she'll make him enter the Rumble #1.
Edge v. Matt Hardy no DQ is next. Crowd is thinning slightly as we hit the 3 hour mark but Matt still gets a nice pop.
Edge gets trash can shots. Hardy gets kendo stick ones. Edge misses with a chair to the ringpost. Mark Henry runs out Swagger comes running in too and they all beat up Hardy before holding him up for a cheap Edge spear 1-2-3.
Shaman of Sexy and the Chick Magnet make their way down to the ring.
Primo and Carlito v. M&M in a presumably non-title match.
My first time seeing Primo live and he's definitely better than his brother.
Carlito thought he had Morrison with the back cracker but Miz was the legal man and he came in for the pin. Good match both teams were on.
Kozlov v. Hunter in what is presumably the last match of the night. A dark after this would be overkill. If this were ECW evy1 would be GONE
Hunter posts Kozlov into the steel on the outside and Vickie comes out to interrupt. Big heat. Says this is a 2on1 and sends out Big Show.
Kozlov and Show finally beat Hunter down to the point Kozlov gets the pin; so Hunter is going in the Rumble #1.
To add insult to injury Edge comes out after the match while Hunter is laid out and beats him up.
