[Credit: Undertaker] Raw 6/15/09 Preview-Last week on Raw, John Cena, Batista and JBL all qualified for the Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Championship at Night of Champions. This week, Triple H goes up against Rey Mysterio while Evan Bourne takes on MVP in the final two qualifiers. Who will be the final two men entered in the match?
-Also, Stephanie McMahon has taken over her brother's position as Co-General Manager on Smackdown and Mr. McMahon has taken a leave of absence. That leaves the Gm position on Raw wide open. A replacement has already been chosen but who it is, is not known at the time. Whoever it is, they've already booked tonight's Raw and it's possible we'll find out who they are soon. Possibly, even tonight. Who could this powerful person be?
-Plus, Women's Champion Victoria, Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea Burchill and Mickie James all got into it last week. Beth will be going one on one with Mickie tonight, but Katie Lea and Victoria will both be in attendance. What will happen when these four are back at each other's throats?Find out all these answers and more by tuning into the USA Network tonight at 9:00PM!

I'll give a more detailed reply when you get a new show up, but I gotta say, you have done very well with this diary. Raw is looking good. Bourne/MVP looks awesome. That should be a cool match. Ric Flair as GM? Hmmm. Beth/Mickie sounds interesting. I'm interested in seeing what you do with the feud between the four ladies. Can't wait for the show. Thanks for the reply to TNA 2009.

June 15th, 2009 Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho Attendance: 10,528
Raw kicks off with the usual video package opening showing the highlights of last week’s show. It starts with JBL and Batista qualifying for the Six Pack Challenge at Night of Champions and ends with Cena qualifying. It then shows those four men brawling to end the show last week.
Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole welcome us to another exciting edition of the longest weekly running show in history. They hype up tonight’s Six Pack Challenge Qualifiers, which include ECW’s Rey Mysterio vs. Triple H and MVP vs. Evan Bourne. Plus, we’re all anxiously awaiting if we can get any news of who will be the new GM of Raw.
John “Bradshaw” Layfield’s theme music comes on as The Cabinet makes their way to the ring. JBL gets on the microphone and talks about how The Cabinet’s official takeover will happen on June 28th. Because on that very night, he will become the new WWE Champion. He is also working on title shots for the rest of The Cabinet. He then says that he currently has a problem with two superstars. One is MVP, who thinks that he’s a big shot because he won some little tournament. The other is John Cena, who stuck his nose where it didn’t belong last week. He mentions that he found some interesting news today. The mysterious new General Manager of Raw has booked an interesting main event tonight. It will be John Cena in a handicap match against JBL and the WWE Champion Kane. JBL then promises that they will take out Cena tonight and the spot in the Six Pack Challenge can go to somebody like the future of this business, Ryan Braddock. The theme music of John Cena hits and The Cabinet get ready to attack. He doesn’t come out though, but he comes through the crowd and nails Paul and Gaspard with a steel chair to the back. He also catches Braddock. He walks toward JBL, who is backing away pleading to not be hit, but Candice drops down and hits Cena with a low blow. JBL picks up Cena and nailed the Clothesline from Hell. MVP runs out to make the save, but JBL got out of the ring quickly.
Commercial Break.
Six Pack Challenge Qualifying Match Evan Bourne vs. MVP w/ Eve Torres
MVP stayed in the ring after coming to the aid of Cena. Both men had the crowd behind them as they’re both very popular. The match itself was back and forth and pretty even. MVP used his strength advantage to take control. Bourne attempted to run at him but got caught in a snap belly-to-belly suplex. MVP only got a two count with that though. The finish came when Bourne missed the Shooting Star Press and MVP nailed him with the Drive By.
Winner: MVP (7:52) ***¼
MVP and Eve celebrated the victory and MVP motioned the belt around his waist. He then did his “Ballin” taunt.
Commercial Break.
In the back we see Mickie James talking with the Women’s Champion, Victoria. Mickie thanks for the help last week, but she does say that she wants a crack at that belt and that she’ll beat Beth to get closer to a shot tonight. Victoria say that’s fine and she’d like to go one on one with her at Night of Champions. They stare each other down for a second before the cameras cut away.
Tag Team Match World Tag Team Champions Legacy vs. Johnny Curtis & Tyler Reks
Reks and Curtis are the current FCW Tag Team Champions, and have been for a long time. They looked good in the ring tonight, but were overmatched by the Champs. Reks did impress with a springboard moonsault and Curtis hit his Maine Jam maneuver but Henning kicked out of both. After that though, it was pretty much all Legacy and Rhodes put away Curtis with the Cross Rhodes.
Winners: World Tag Team Champions Legacy (6:11) **½
Legacy was in the middle of the ring celebrating with their titles when they were cut off by the theme music of The Technicians. They come to the ramp and Charlie Haas informs Legacy that they are going to use their rematch clause to get a World Tag Team Title shot at Night of Champions and that they will become two time tag team champions.
Commercial Break.
We return to see John Cena warming up for his match tonight when Batista comes in. Batista tells him that he’ll help him out tonight if he needs it because he doesn’t think it is right that this new GM put him in a handicap match. Cena thanks him and Batista tells him that come Night of Champions, it’s every man for himself. Cena agrees.
Six Pack Challenge Qualifying Match Rey Mysterio vs. Triple H
Just like the previous qualifier, this was a very good match. Rey had the crowd firmly behind him and they badly wanted him to win. He came really close early on a few times too. After hitting a tornado DDT and then a springboard splash, he again got a near fall. Triple H seemed to get angry after this and he nailed Rey with a huge spine buster. He picked him up and went for the Pedigree, but Rey swept his legs out and rolled him up, yet only got a two. HHH hit him with a big knee once they got up and then finally hit the Pedigree to end it.
Winner: Triple H (11:03) ***¼
After the match, Triple H went to the outside and grabbed his sledgehammer. He waited for Rey to get up before nailing him in the ribs. He followed that up by hitting him in the face. He was attempting to nail him in the back, but Batista ran down to the ring to save his best friend. Triple H quickly retreated to the outside and laughed.
Commercial Break.
Divas Match Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James
As usual, these two put on a very good encounter by female standards. Beth was her usual dominant self in the early goings, and that eventually led to James making a comeback. James went for her trademark hurricanrana in the corner but Beth reversed it into a power bomb. Beth then went for the Glam Slam but James reversed that into a roll up and Beth kicked out. James kicked her in the gut as they got up and hit her DDT. Out came Katie Lea, who nailed her in the back.
Winner By DQ: Mickie James (5:21) **¼
Katie Lea continued to beat on James until out ran the Women’s Champion Victoria. She evened the odds and the four women once again brawled with each other. It all stopped once Victoria tossed Beth out and James threw Katie Lea out. Lillian Garcia got on the microphone and announced that she has just been given some information. The new General Manager of Raw has announced that at Night of Champions, Victoria will defend the Women’s Championship against Mickie James, Beth Phoenix and Katie Lea Burchill in a Fatal Four Way match. The crowd likes the announcement but everyone still wonders about the new General Manager.
The cameras cut to show John Cena walking towards the arena and the announces hype that our main event is coming up next!
Commercial Break.
Handicap Match WWE Champion Kane & John “Bradshaw” Layfield w/ Paul Bearer and The Cabinet vs. John Cena
Cena had a rough time in this one as he had to go up against two large superstars here. Not only that but he had to have eyes in the back of his head to make sure The Cabinet didn’t get involved. Onto the match though, it was nothing more than a glorified beat down. Cena was dominated the whole way until the end when he started to make his usual comeback. JBL and Kane got back in control though until Cena ducked a punch from JBL and that connected with Kane. Kane grabbed JBL by the throat and choke slammed him. The Cabinet then ran in and jumped Kane. Cena surprised everybody by helping Kane out. He grabbed Jayson Paul and Shad Gaspard and tossed them out of the ring. Kane tossed Braddock out. JBL then got up and hit Cena with the Clothesline from Hell and got the pin.
Winners: JBL & WWE Champion Kane (9:54) **½
JBL quickly got out of the ring before Kane could get to him. JBL celebrated up the ramp but from behind came MVP, who turned JBL around and hit him with rights and lefts. They brawled until The Cabinet’s numbers overcame him. Kane hit Cena with a Tombstone in the middle of the ring and stood tall as he watched MVP get dismantled by The Cabinet.

Great opening segment to get the main event over. Very pleased to see MVP win the match. I liked the segment between Victoria and Mickie James. Happy to see Legacy win as they are the superior tag team. Nice to see The Technicians get their rematch. HHH winning was the better choice and I would love to see Rey released haha. I love that HHH attacked him after the match and Batista made the save. I like Katie Lee coming out and attacking Mickie James. The fatal four way match should be solid. The main event was solid and JBL and Kane winning was the right decision. The aftermath was gold. Overall, an amazing show.

Fine opening segment, like how JBL was badmouthing guys as usual. Good opening segment, glad MVP won. Victoria/Mickie would be fine. Wonder if you're going to be using that FCW team full-time. HHH/Rey is a nice match, like the Batista usage after. Interesting 4-way women's match, still like the whole mystery about the GM. Cena losing the main event made sense since the odds were against him, although in real life that usually doesn't stop him. I overall like the idea of the six-pack challenge because otherwise some guys like Batista and Kane wouldn't have matches to fit in with the PPV gimmick.

- Nice Opening Segment. Didn't like Braddock at first but im warming up too him in a way. - MVP was the right winner. - Reks and Curtis are awesome. Legacy going over was right though. - HHH/Rey was a good match. Glad Triple H won. Good with Batista there. - I wanna know the GM. It better not be adamle. - 4-way for the Womens title is interesting. - Cena losing was good. Nice ending with The Cabinet and Kane looking good.

Opening segment was good for what it was. The opening match was tremendous. I didn't expect Bourne to win because MVP is the bigger star out of the two. Because you said Curtis/Reks got a good amount of offense, I'm beginning to think you're bringing them in full time. The more tag teams the better! HHH over Rey is fine. Didn't expect John Cena to prevail against Kane and JBL, although he obviously would in real life.

[Credit: Undertaker] ECW 6/16/09 Preview-Last week on ECW, Mr. Kennedy asked Elijah Burke for a Last Chance ECW Title match at Night of Champions. Burke agreed and it's official, if Kennedy loses he can't have another title shot as long as Burke is Champion. This week, Kennedy has a big test as he will face the reigning Television Champion, Jack Swagger in a non-title match. Can Kennedy pin Swagger for the second straight week? Or will Swagger pick up a huge win for his career?
-Matt Hardy and Tommy Dreamer have been having issues with The Brood over the past few months. Tonight, the former ECW Champion Matt Hardy will take on The Brood's leader, Kevin Thorn in singles competition. With the rest of The Brood sure to be near by, there's no telling what will go down here. And Tommy Dreamer is sure to be near as well.
-Last week, Finlay was suffering a beat down at the hands of The Brood. He was helped by his debuting nephew, Sheamus O'Shaunessy. Sheamus, his uncle and cousin Hornswoggle will be at ECW tonight. Sheamus and Finlay will team up for the first time ever. How will this Irish family work as a team? Can they dominate?Tune into the Sci-Fi Network tonight at 9:00PM for all this and so much more!

June 16th, 2009 GM Palace in Vancouver, Canada Attendance: 18,721
ECW begins with the usual video package that highlights last week’s show. It shows the announcement of Elijah Burke defending the ECW Championship against Mr. Kennedy for the final time at Night of Champions.
Todd Grisham and Matt Striker introduce us to tonight’s show and hype tonight’s featured main event which is Mr. Kennedy taking on Television Champion Jack Swagger in a non-title match. The ECW Champion’s theme music hits as he makes his way to the ring.
Elijah Burke grabs a microphone and starts to talk about his past with Mr. Kennedy. He mentions that both of them were poised to become the next breakout stars back in 2007. He says that he fulfilled that potential, while Kennedy keeps coming up short in his opportunities and that he’s going to come up his shortest at Night of Champions. Burke says that once he’s done with Kennedy, he will continue his reign as the greatest ECW Champion in history. Burke ends his promo by saying that since Kennedy has bad luck going against Champions, he sees him losing against Swagger tonight. Burke promises to retain the Title once again and to keep dominating the land of extreme.
Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy w/ Hornswoggle vs. The Miz & Santino Marella
Santino and The Miz were great as a comedic team, but were no match for Sheamus and Finlay as they worked well as a team. The focal point of the match was Sheamus though and it showcased his ability. He nailed Santino with what he calls the Irish Frenzy, a series of slaps and a spinning back fist. After that he hit Miz with a Spear and a big boot. He ended it by drilling Santino with a sitout Death Valley Driver, called the Celtic Slam.
Winners: Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy (6:28) **¼
In the back, we see Gavin Spears talking with Tiffany when Jack Swagger walks by. Swagger tells him that he’s out of his mind if he thinks he’s ready to face him at Night of Champions. If he thinks that beating Mark Henry and getting a girlfriend is enough to make him the man to beat the All-American American then he’s sadly mistaken. Spears tells him that while Swagger may have dominated the TV Title division so far, he hasn’t had to face him yet. And Spears promises to be the man to dethrone him. They have a stare down as we go to commercial.
Commercial Break.
We return and see a short video again of Hurricane Helms saying that ECW needs a hero. The crowd popped for this.
Singles Match Kevin Thorn w/ The Brood vs. Matt Hardy
These two turned in a good match as Thorn has really improved in the ring as of late. He controlled the early portions of the match and really had Matt on the ropes. But, as we all know, Matt Hardy will not die, and he wouldn’t in this one as he made a strong comeback. Matt hit a Russian Leg Sweep, Northern lights suplex and the Side Effect, but when he went for the cover, Gangrel pulled the his leg. The referee then ejected The Brood from ringside and as Matt turned back to Thorn, he was met with a Crucifix power bomb.
Winner: Kevin Thorn (7:13) **½
After the match, The Brood began to jump Matt Hardy and that led to Tommy Dreamer coming out to make the save. The numbers game proved to be too much though as they took him down as well. Things changed though as Finlay and Sheamus ran down to and forced The Brood to retreat.
Commercial Break.
In the back, Josh Matthews is standing by with Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler mentions that he despite losing to DJ Gabriel on Velocity last week, he plans on evening the score this Saturday night and he’ll really show Alicia Fox what a real man is.
Much like two weeks ago, we see a video of Ezekiel Jackson. It shows him in a dark room with a towel over his head. He says that last week, he made another example of somebody from the ECW roster. He said that he had no personal vendetta against Tommy, but that Tommy was standing in his way. Ezekiel then goes on to promise to make another example out of somebody next week.
We now see Mr. Kennedy and the Television Champion Jack Swagger walking to the ring on a split screen as our main event is next!
Commercial Break.
Non-Title Singles Match Mr. Kennedy vs. Television Champion Jack Swagger
These two turned in a surprisingly good main event for tonight. Swagger continued to impress and by hanging with Kennedy has now shown that he can go against main event talent. He used his multiple suplex variations, such as a belly-to-belly and a belly-to-back but Kennedy kicked out. Kennedy would hit a snap DDT later in the match and go for the Mic Check but Swagger elbowed out of it. Swagger attempted to get him up for the Gutwrench power bomb, but Kennedy reversed it into a back body drop. He waited for him to get up and hit the Mic Check. At this point, Elijah Burke ran down and attacked him.
Winner by Disqualification: Mr. Kennedy (9:22) ***
Burke began to assault Kennedy with numerous lefts and rights. Once Swagger got up, he joined in on the beating. Suddenly, Gavin Spears runs down to the ring and makes the save for Kennedy, getting a standing ovation for his efforts. Burke and Swagger retreat up the ramp.

Wow great ECW. - Nice opening Segment with Burke, thinking Kennedy will win at NOC. - Good match. Glad Santino's actually wrestling on ECW. Nice win for the irish. - Hurricane!!! - Matt losing again, nice way to put Thorn over but Matt needs some match on PPV. Maybe The Bash. - Ziggler is god lol. Hope he wins. - Jackson is starting too look really good. - Predicted that this would end via DQ. Champ lost without looking weak. Kennedy/Burke is a great feud. ECW is going really well though I'd like something to be done with Rey, Matt and Dreamer.

Good main event, figure it'll end in a non-finish. Like the Miz/Santino team much more although it's randomly put together. Thorn winning made sense since he has been getting a push. Like the slow pushing of Zeke. Ending to the show was somewhat predictable but it made sense. I hope Burke & Swagger retain their belts, but I can see Kennedy winning at the very least.

I loved Burke’s opening promo. It was nice to see Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy as I feel the duo could do a lot together. Great Jack Swagger promo. Good call with Thorne getting the win. I like Dreamer, Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy making the save as it is realistic. The ending of the main event was great. I love Spears making the save and getting the push.

[Credit: Undertaker] Smackdown 6/19/09 Preview-Last Friday, Stephanie McMahon made the blockbuster announcement that she would be taking over her brother's spot as the Co-General Manager on Smackdown. Her first act as GM was to bring back the Gold Rush tournament to determine who will face Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions. What will she do this week? And what will Vickie Guerrero say about her decisions? -Speaking of the Gold Rush tournament, Shelton Benjamin defeated Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy beat Umaga. That sets up Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin tonight in a semi-final match. The other semi-final match will be Edge vs. CM Punk after Edge beat Kofi Kingston and Punk defeated John Morrison. Who will walk out as the winners tonight and meet in next week's finals? -Chris Jericho didn't wrestle last week, but he came out and made a statement. He called out The Undertaker and promised to show him exactly what a decade of destruction was all about. Jericho will be in action tonight. Will we hear from him again? If so, will he have more choice words for The Phenom? Find out all this and much more by tuning into MyNetwork TV tonight at 8:00PM!

6/18/09 Edition-Current plans have the Batista/Triple H rivalry lasting until SummerSlam, along with the Chris Jericho/Undertaker feud. -It's very possible that Gavin Spears could walk away with the Television Championship at Night of Champions, but mainly because the WWE views Jack Swagger as a future star and they expect him to win the ECW Title near the end of the year. -For some strange reason Velocity didn't air on wwe.com last week. No reason was given for this and the show will still be on this week. -The plan is to have The Hurricane return on ECW and get involved in the Television Title hunt. The feeling is that Hurricane Helms isn't over enough as that character and the most over he has ever been was as The Hurricane.

WWE RAW...Monday 15th June 2009...Decent opening promo to kick off WWE RAW this week, with The Cabinet cutting a promo. Hopefully the six-pack challenge situation doesn't make the WWE Championship scene clustered. A handicap match for John Cena to qualify sounds awfully fun. Montel Vontavious Porter beating Evan Bourne is an amazing way to kick off WWE RAW, just wish that it had gone a little bit longer, but nevermind. Expected Legacy to overthrow the FCW Tag Team Champions, Johnny Curtis and Tyler Reks. Suprised the match went that long, actually. Maybe they'll be spreading up to the main roster soon? Superb match between Triple H and Rey Mysterio, and Triple H advancing is pretty predictable in my eyes. Pay-per-view quality match-up for Mickie James and Beth Phoenix, if I'm honest. Katie-Lea attacking Mickie James is intriguing. Hmm, a fatal-4-way match for the WWE Womens Championship? Unsure how I feel about another multi-person match for Night of Champions. Haha, John Cena unable to overcome the odds against Kane and The Cabinet is funny. Kane taking out the Cabinet members was a nice touch. Good show overall, but Night of Champions' card seems clustery, with two multi-person matches.
ECW on Sci-Fi...Tuesday 16th June 2009...Decent promo to kick off ECW on Sci-Fi this week, with ECW Champion, Elijah Burke cutting a simple, straight-forward promo here. Hmm, don't like the team of The Miz and Santino Marella; very random and both men should be doing more solid things than losing to Finlay and Sheamus O'Shaunessy. I could imagine Miz as ECW Television Champion, if pushed properly. Solid match with Kevin Thorn beating Matt Hardy, hopefully you will push Matt up the card, and bring him close to the ECW Championship. Or turn him heel. Solid main event, with Mr Kennedy beating Jack Swagger. Unsure about Gavin Spears overall, if I'm honest. I can't see how over he is, personally. Decent show nontheless.

June 19th, 2009 GM Palace in Vancouver, Canada Attendance: 18,721
Tonight’s Smackdown opens with a video package showing last week’s announcement that Stephanie McMahon would be replacing her brother as Co-General Manager. Then it shows clips of the four first round Gold Rush Tournament matches.
After the opening fireworks display, Jim Ross and Tazz welcome us to tonight’s show and hype up the semi-finals of the Gold Rush tournament tonight, where Shelton Benjamin will take on Jeff Hardy and Edge will go up against CM Punk! They also announce that we will see six person inter gender tag team action and Kofi Kingston will take on Lawrence Knight to determine if Kofi will take on The Brian Kendrick for the United States Title at Night of Champions!
Singles Match Carlito w/ Primo vs. Chris Jericho
These two turned in a fine opener and Carlito actually looked like he had a chance here. It wasn’t the squash you’d expect from a tag wrestler going against a main eventer. Anyway, Jericho was methodical early on, working Carlito’s back, but the Puerto Rican superstar held his own and hit a springboard elbow. In the end though, Jericho was too good and put him away with the Codebreaker.
Winner: Chris Jericho (6:11) **½
After the match, Jericho got on the microphone. He once again badmouthed The Undertaker and called him out. He told him that he needs to show up, so he can slap the soul out of him. The lights in the arena go out and a gong is heard. The Undertaker’s voice is heard in the arena and he tells Jericho that he will be at Smackdown next Friday night. The lights come back on and Jericho looks very confident.
Commercial Break.
We return to see Stephanie McMahon in her office when there’s a knock on the door. Vickie Guerrero and Edge come in. Vickie complains that Edge should’ve just got a straight title shot instead of having to compete in a stupid tournament. Stephanie says that its fair rules and that if Edge is so good, then he should be able to win this tournament. Edge tells her that she’s lucky he doesn’t do to her what he did to Shane at King of the Ring. He walks out as Vickie steps between them and Stephanie wanted to slap him. She tells Vickie to control her husband or his time on Smackdown will not be pleasant.
Six Person Inter-Gender Tag Match The New Hart Foundation vs. The Second City Saints & Maria w/ The Bella Twins
The Bella Twins accompanied the Saints to the ring and keep shooting dirty looks at Maria, which was an obvious sign of jealousy that one of them wasn’t in the match. Onto the match though, Natalya dominated Maria for the most part, but Goldman and Steel were even with the Tag Champions. Wilson hit his signature springboard elbow drop on Steel but Goldman broke up the count. The match finished when Steel hit Wilson with the Steel Spike to get the pin.
Winners: The Second City Saints and Maria (6:26) **½
The announcers put over the fact that for the second straight week, the Saints have pinned the WWE Tag Team Champions.
In the back we see Shelton Benjamin and his gold briefcase walking towards the ring. The camera cuts to Jeff Hardy doing the same as their match is next!
Commercial Break.
Gold Rush Tournament Semi-Finals Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin
Just like their Royal Rumble match earlier this year, these two put on a show. Shelton dominated the mat work between the two, but once Jeff took to the air and hit the Whisper of the Winds, he took back control. Shelton was methodical though, as he worked over Jeff’s back throughout the match. He went for the Shell Bomb, but Jeff reversed it into a victory roll, yet only got a two count. As they got up, Shelton went for Paydirt but Jeff held onto the top rope causing Shelton to fall on his own. Jeff climbed to the top but missed the Swanton Bomb. Shelton hit him with the Exploder but Jeff got a foot on the bottom rope. Shelton was very upset by this and he argued with the referee. He went back to Jeff, who pulled him into a small package for the win.
Winner: Jeff Hardy (12:11) ****
Shelton was very frustrated with himself as Jeff celebrated the victory up the ramp. We cut to the back where World Champion Randy Orton is watching on a monitor. His face remained expressionless as it has as of late.
Commercial Break.
We are shown an ad for “Night of Champions” with “Seasons” by The Veer Union playing in the background. This ad showcases the Six Pack Challenge match.
Singles Match Lawrence Knight w/ United States Champion The Brian Kendrick vs. Kofi Kingston
If Kofi won this match he’d be granted a United States Title shot at Night of Champions. Knight made sure it wasn’t going to be easy for Kofi as he used his power to his advantage. He hit Kofi with a gorilla press slam, a stalling vertical suplex and a fallaway slam. He went for his spine buster, but Kofi reversed it into a DDT. He ran off the ropes and hit his signature leg drop, and then waited for him to get up. He nailed Trouble in Paradise to seal the deal.
Winner: Kofi Kingston (5:19) **
Kofi stared down Kendrick, who was furious on the outside.
Commercial Break.
Gold Rush Tournament Semi-Finals CM Punk vs. Edge
Just like the other Gold Rush match tonight, this was a fantastic encounter. They put on a great match highlighted by Edge hitting a half nelson face buster and a missile dropkick, while Punk hit a slingshot splash and a suicide dive. After more back and forth action, including a commercial break, Edge was in control with a sleeper hold. Punk fought out of it behind the crowd’s rally and he got Edge up for the GTS but he grabbed the top rope to block it. They ran at each other and hit a double clothesline, knocking them both out. Suddenly, Vickie Guerrero comes out with Umaga and she sends the Samoan to the ring. He gets in and nails Edge, causing the DQ.
Winner by Disqualification: Edge (11:25) ****
The crowd boos loudly at what has just happened, but Stephanie McMahon’s music hits. She says that her Gold Rush Tournament match will not end like that and she orders it to restart right now. And if anybody gets involved in the finish, they will be suspended on the spot.
Edge is furious, but notices that Punk is down so he sets up for the Spear. He runs at Punk, but Punk moves and he hits the turnbuckle. Punk picks him up and nails the GTS to put him away.
Winner: CM Punk (11:42) ****
Punk celebrates as Vickie is furious and Stephanie has a big smile on her face. Once again, the camera cuts to Randy Orton who is again expressionless. He now knows that he will be facing either Jeff Hardy or CM Punk at Night of Champions.

Nice show, seemed shorter than usual. Probably just me.
- Nice Opener, sucks that Chris Jericho vs Undertaker is not able to happen at NOC. Glad Y2J went over. - Good segment with Vickie and Steph. - Didn't like SCS going over but as long as Hart Dynasty win at NOC im fine. - Glad Jeff went over. I think that AFTER Orton loses his title, that person will get MITB cashed on them. - Kofi vs Kenrdick will be a great match. Glad Kofi went over. - Nice main event. Liked the DQ finish, Edge vs Hardy would have been good but Orton vs Face at NOC is fine. Have a feeling Vickie will add Edge.
FANTASTIC SHOW!

Pretty good opening match, made sense for Jericho to win if he's involved with Taker. Liked the Steph/Vickie/Edge segment, interesting stuff brewing. Fine six-person tag match, served its purpose I guess. Hardy over Shelton was fine, but I don't know if Hardy would actually end up with the title shot. Glad Kofi won as I don't know who Knight is. Like the DQ idea, and surprised but makes sense to see the match restarted. Punk winning is good, like how it all played out. EIther man against Orton would be good, should be interesting to see who you go with (I predict punk).
