- Solid opening segment. I don’t think Rhodes has a chance against HBK. - Alright opening match, should note that you have Kofi winning with Jericho instead of JBL.. - Jericho/Rey haven’t fought since their WCW days, so that should be a great match. - Burchill winning the belt is cool. The way he won made sense, so that Punk isn’t hurt from the loss, really. - Michaels winning was expected. - Would have hoped Noble pinned Knoxx instead of Regal. - Not sure if I like Dibiase/Cena on RAW. DiBiase costing Cena the match WM was a pretty big deal, and I think Cena/DiBiase could have been built into a PPV match. - Solid show.

Like the younger members stepping up to the big guys although I don't think either will win their match. You put Jericho & Kofi, you were supposed to put Jericho & JBL. Glam Slam out on the floor would be brutal. You know I'm not going to be happy with Burchill as IC Champ. HBK winning was logical there. Cena winning was the right call. Decent show.

April 14th, 2009 Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia Attendance: 17,669
ECW opens with a small video package showing Jack Swagger winning the Television Title last week. It then cuts to the announcement that Elijah Burke will defend his ECW Title against Matt Hardy at Backlash in an Extreme Rules Match!
Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to tonight’ exciting edition of ECW. They hype up tonight’s matches including Shawn Michaels’ open contract, Elijah Burke taking on Finlay, a big eight man tag and Kevin Thorn doing battle with Tommy Dreamer.
Eight Man Tag Team Match Television Champion Jack Swagger, Mark Henry & World Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz vs. Evan Bourne, Gavin Spears & The Second City Saints
Surprisingly, this match wasn’t a mess, but as expected, it wasn’t given enough time for all eight men to get ring time. The main focus was Swagger, Bourne and Spears. Miz and Morrison got in some offense as well. Swagger picked up the win for his team when he hit Goldman with the Gutwrench Powerbomb.
Winners: Television Champion Jack Swagger, Mark Henry & World Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz (8:17) **½
In the back we see Matt Hardy signing Shawn Michaels’ open contract. He smiles as he walks away.
Commercial Break.
Singles Match Kevin Thorn w/ Gangrel vs. Tommy Dreamer
Despite this being a mediocre match the crowd was very much into this and seemed to be on the lookout for Thorn’s “minions”. Thorn held control throughout although Dreamer nailed the Dreamer Driver for a close two count. He set up for the DDT but Thorn flipped him over and eventually ended the match with the Original Sin.
Winner: Kevin Thorn (5:29) **
After the match the lights went out and when they came back on Tommy Dreamer was covered in a bloodbath. In the ring standing tall was Kevin Thorn, Gangrel and two other individuals. Those two being Hade Vansen & Tyler Black. Thorn introduced them as The Brood 2.0!
Commercial Break.
The announcers play back what we just witnessed and that’s the formation of The Brood 2.0. We now see General Manager Theodore Long in his office and he looks really worried at what he just saw. Matt Hardy enters and thanks him for making the ECW Title rematch at Backlash. He then says that he wants to stay on ECW during the upcoming draft as he finds it as a home for him.
Non Title Singles Match ECW Champion Elijah Burke (c) vs. Finlay
Hornswoggle was absent from ringside during this match, probably because he was traumatized by last week’s bloodbath. This was a good match, just used to help get Burke over as a very good Champion. He pretty much dominated and took him with the win with the Elijah Express.
Winner: ECW Champion Elijah Burke (7:01) **½
After the match, Burke got on the microphone and talked trash to Matt Hardy, hyping up their Backlash match. He said that it doesn’t matter if Matt’s undefeated in Extreme Rules matches, all that matters is that Elijah Burke is undefeated as ECW Champion.
Commercial Break.
As we return from commercial we see Evan Bourne talking with the General Manager. He asked to cash in his rematch for the Television Title next week on ECW. Theodore Long agrees that it’s a great idea and books it.
Singles Match Matt Hardy vs. Shawn Michaels
These two put on a great match very much like Shawn’s match with Jeff Hardy on Smackdown. Each man hit their key, signature spots with HBK nailing a flying forearm and atomic drop. Matt hit the Side Effect and leg drop off the second rope. Michaels went for Sweet Chin Music but Hardy caught it and dropped him with a clothesline. After a few more minutes of back and forth action, Michaels ended it when he nailed him with a Sweet Chin Music after a kick up.
Winner: Shawn Michaels (9:48) ***¾
After the match Michaels and Matt shook hands and celebrated with the crowd. Michaels left and before Matt could get out the ring, Elijah Burke came from the crowd and laid him out with the ECW Title. He ran out the ring before HBK got back in.

Understandable eight-man tag match to get guys on the show, and Swagger winning makes sense. Like that you're moving him up through the ranks instead of straight to the title. Like the idea of New Brood, but I feel like the 2.0 part isn't necessary. Good win for Burke there. HBK winning was the right call, and I could possibly see HBK/Burke next week.

Smackdown 4/17/09 Preview-Last week on Smackdown, WWE Champion Jeff Hardy took on Shawn Michaels in a classic battle. Towards the end of the match though, "The Big Red Machine" Kane made his way down to the ring and attempted to attack Jeff, but Jeff cut him off. After the match though, Kane finished off his attack. Jeff will be at Smackdown this week and he wants answers. Will he get them? What was the reason behind Kane's attacks? -Also last week, the "Rated R Superstar" Edge took out General Manager Shane McMahon with a Spear off of the apron during their tag team match. Both men will be in attendance tonight and Shane has called for Edge to have him as a guest on "The Cutting Edge". Shane did say last week that if he didn't get his hands on Edge then, he would announce something this week. What could his announcement be? Will Edge actually host "The Cutting Edge"? -It was announced last week that "The Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin would be defending his newly won Money in the Bank Briefcase against MVP and Mr. Kennedy at Backlash. This week, MVP and Mr. Kennedy will meet in one-on-one competition while Benjamin has the night off. But with Smackdown in Shelton's homestate of South Carolina, you can expect him to make an impact somehow. Which of these three men will carry momentum into Backlash? What are Benjamin's plans for tonight? -Plus, once again Shawn Michaels' open contract will be there for any superstar to sign! If you want all of this and more tune into My Network TV at 8PM!

April 17th, 2009 Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, South Carolina Attendance: 13,951
This week’s Smackdown opens with a video package showing last week’s main event of Jeff Hardy and Shawn Michaels. It then shows Kane’s attempted interference and the Tombstone he planted Jeff Hardy with after the match.
Tazz and Jim Ross welcome us to Smackdown in South Carolina and they hype up tonight’s show. They also hype up the possibility of an edition of “The Cutting Edge” , Triple H and Umaga’s first appearance since their WrestleMania XXV showdown, and Shawn Michaels’ open contract once again.
We cut away from the announcers and go straight to the theme music of our WWE Champion Jeff Hardy. He gets in the ring and begins to talk about Kane’s attack last week. He said he demands to know what it was all about. Instead of Kane’s music, we hear the screeching sound of Vickie Guerrero’s voice. She comes to the entrance and says that Paul Bearer spoke to her earlier tonight. He told her that Kane wants a shot at Jeff’s WWE Championship. Jeff says that if he wanted some he should’ve just asked because he’ll be happy to defend his title. Vickie says that she & Shane McMahon knew he would feel that way and have agreed to Jeff Hardy vs. Kane at Backlash with the WWE Championship up for grabs! Jeff likes the idea, but then Vickie says that she hasn’t forgiven Jeff for beating Edge at WrestleMania XXV and he will pay for it tonight when he takes on Kane and Umaga in a handicap match!
Commercial Break.
We now see Edge arriving at the arena. Justin Roberts catches up with him and asks him if we’re going to see an edition of “The Cutting Edge” or not. Edge says that he’s not scared of anything Shane McMahon throws at him and he’ll be glad to host his show.
Singles Match Mr. Kennedy vs. Montel Vontavious Porter w/ Eve
These two wrestled in a Money in the Bank qualifier a few weeks back and this match was just as good. Neither man really played the heel and this was just a competitive match that went back and forth for a while. MVP took the advantage when he nailed his trademark big boot in the corner. Kennedy fell out and MVP went for the Drive By, but he moved out of the way and ended up hitting him with the Mic Check to win it.
Winner: Mr. Kennedy (6:54) ***
After the match, Kennedy got on the microphone and announced himself as the winner and said he would do the same at Backlash.
Next we cut to the back where we see Shelton Benjamin watching on a monitor. He’s carrying his briefcase, which is completely gold. He smirks at the monitor and walks down the hall with a pen in his hand. He stops at the locker room of Shawn Michaels and signs his name on the dotted line of the contract on the door.
Commercial Break.
Number One Contender for Divas Championship Gail Kim vs. Maryse vs. Maria vs. Michelle McCool
Just like last week, Natalya was at ringside doing commentary and she basically ran down all four ladies and said that she was clearly better than all of them. The match itself was fairly good but it was kind of obvious that Kim was going to pull this out considering her issues with Natalya as of late. She finished this off when she hit her neckbreaker slam onto Maria.
Winner: Gail Kim (4:44) **¼
Kim didn’t even have time to celebrate because Natalya rushed into the ring and laid her out with the Divas Title.
In the back we see now see Triple H getting prepared for his match tonight with big Ezekiel Jackson.
Then we see Shawn Michaels come out of his locker room and check the contract. He smiles and heads towards the ring.
Commercial Break.
Singles Match Shawn Michaels vs. Shelton Benjamin
These two have put on two classic matches on Raw back in 2005 and tonight was no different. Michaels seems to bring out the best in Benjamin. Onto the match, Benjamin started this off by out working Michaels on the mat. After a while, Michaels began to use his veteran savvy to outsmart Benjamin. Benjamin attempted to climb to the top, which he doesn’t do often anymore and Michaels knocked him off to the outside. Benjamin got back on the apron and went to springboard off the ropes bringing back memories of their big Superkick spot in ’05. The difference was that Benjamin front flipped out of the springboard and hit Michaels with the block buster yet only got a two. After a little more back and forth action Michaels went for Sweet Chin Music but Benjamin blocked it, spun him around and drilled him with Paydirt but Michaels kicked out. The referee got knocked out when Benjamin whipped Michaels into the corner. Benjamin went to the outside and got his Money in the Bank briefcase. He waited for Michaels to get up and he laid him out with it. He woke up the referee and picked Michaels up and dropped him with a second Paydirt for the win.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin (11:13) ***¾
Benjamin celebrated this huge victory over a legend like Shawn Michaels as we cut to commercial.
Commercial Break.
We return to see “The Cutting Edge” set up in the ring and “Coming Home” begins to play as Edge makes his way to the ring. He gets on the microphone and calls out Shane McMahon because it was him who wanted this. Shane comes out in street gear and gets right in Edge’s face. He says that for the past three weeks, Edge has taken him out and enjoyed doing it. Shane wanted to get some revenge last week but couldn’t and just ended up getting Speared again. He told his sister on the phone last week that he would make his announcement this week and the announcement is that at Backlash in just under two weeks it’s going to be Edge & Shane McMahon one-on-one. Edge likes the idea and Shane says that his goal is not to pin Edge at Backlash, but to hurt him, so their match will be a Last Man Standing match! After saying this, Shane attacked Edge and knocked him to the ground and began to pound on him. He got a chair and laid out Edge with it. He set up for the Coast-to-Coast, but Vickie came down and pulled her husband out of the ring. Shane was pissed off as we went to commercial.
Commercial Break.
Six Man Tag Team Match Carlito, Primo & United States Champion Hurricane Helms vs. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Hart Foundation & The Brian Kendrick w/ Ezekiel Jackson
Throughout the match the announcers kept hyping up next week’s United States Title match between Hurricane Helms and The Brian Kendrick. The Hart Foundation once again looked fantastic in the ring and really showed why they’re the tag champs. This was your basic six man tag match, not too impressive though and the faces took home the win after Helms pinned Kendrick following the Nightmare on Helms Street.
Winners: Carlito, Primo & United States Champion Hurricane Helms (5:57) **
After the match Ezekiel gets in the ring as everybody leaves. His match against “The Game” is next!
Commercial Break.
Singles Match Ezekiel Jackson vs. Triple H
Despite Ezekiel starting off the match in pretty dominating fashion, this was primarily used as a squash for Triple H. He weathered the storm of early offense from Ezekiel and took over once he broke a bearhug. He ended up hitting a spinebuster and finished off Big Zeke with a Pedigree.
Winner: Triple H (6:01) **¼
Post match, Triple H got on the microphone and said that he’s really looking forward to his big match with Shawn Michaels at Backlash and once that’s over, he’s going to get back to his main focus, which is the WWE Championship.
Commercial Break.
Handicap Match WWE Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Kane & Umaga w/ Paul Bearer
This pretty much just turned into a glorified mugging as the two big men just took it to our WWE Champion. After a few minutes of taking a beating, Kane whipped Jeff into the corner, but Jeff came out and hit the Whisper in the Winds onto him. He began to trade shots with Umaga, a man he has beaten on occasion before and he knocked him to the outside with a big dropkick. He turned and began to wail away at Kane and went for the Twist of Fate, but Kane pushed him off the ropes and hit him with a big boot. Umaga got back in the ring and hit the Samoan Spike, and Kane followed that up with a Tombstone and covered for the win.
Winners: Kane & Umaga (8:16) **½
After the match Umaga was doing his usual screaming and chest pumping while Kane did his fire taunt as Paul Bearer got in the ring. The announcers hyped up Kane pinning the WWE Champion before their big match at Backlash.

Like the idea of JEff being a fighting champ. Jeff-Kane sounds cool, hope to see Kane win the strap at Backlash or Judgment Day. Don't like the idea of Jeff vs. Kane/Umaga though because it pits Jeff & Kane in the same match already. Kennedy winning the match is fine, doesn't make too much of a difference in the long run. Loving the idea of the gold briefcase, good call there. Gail winning is fine. Like Shelton winning against HBK, although I'd rather not really see HBK job. But it wasn't clean, and it got Shelton over. Feel like it should have been the main event though possibly. Edge/Shane rivalry seems to be picking up. Ok six-man tag. HHH winning obviously made sense. Big guys winning was obvious. Overall very good show, best I've seen in a while from you.

Hmm, unsure of Shawn Michaels retiring 'just at Backlash' to be honest. Decent opening promo to kick off WWE RAW, unsure about Shawn Michaels checking on John Cena after the history they've had. Chris Jericho and John Bradshaw Layfield beating Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio is fine, seemed pretty good if you ask me. Kelly Kelly winning the Divas Battle Royal with all of that talent is awful I think. Wow, Paul Burchill winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship is shocking, seemed pretty decent. Shawn Michaels beating Cody Rhodes, wow, that seemed like quite a match in my opinion. I hate the name 'The Technicians, sounds very 1980s. Mike Knox and William Regal sounds like an awful team. Decent main event with John Cena beating Ted Dibiase.
Awesome way to kick off ECW on Sci-Fi with Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, John Morrison and The Miz defeating Evan Bourne, Gavin Spears and the Second-City Saints. Hot way to open up I think. Don't like Shawn Michaels being on ECW, even if it is for one week. Would be good, Matt Hardy facing Shawn Michaels though. Wow, liking The Brood V2. Elijah Burke beating Finlay is fine. Nice main event, Shawn Michaels going over is likely.
Decent opening promo to kick off SmackDown this week, I actually like the idea of Jeff Hardy feuding with Kane accompanied by Paul Bearer, to be honest. Solid opening contest with Mr Kennedy beating Montel Vontavious Porter. Gail Kim beating Maria, Maryse and Michelle McCool is fine. Shelton Benjamin beating Shawn Michaels is fine, seemed like one awesome match, really should of main evented though, in my opinion. The six-man tag team match seemed slightly like a spot fest. Triple H beating Ezekiel Jackson...too lame to care. Sweet main event to SmackDown, didn't like it was a handicap match though. I'd love to see The Undertaker get involved on Jeff's side.

4/19/09 Edition -The Undertaker is banged up after his WrestleMania XXV match so he will be out for a few weeks. He will not be at Backlash, but he will return after the Draft and have a match at Judgment Day. -There are no current plans for the Money in the Bank Briefcase holder, whoever it may be after Backlash, to cash it in anytime soon. Whoever it is, will be built up and get a few big victories before he cashes it in. -Expect The Brood 2.0 to be involved in a six man tag match at Judgment Day to help them really get over as a stable. No word on who will be opposing them, but Tommy Dreamer is a very likely candidate to be one of them. -It's very possible that a member of Legacy will be moved in the draft. That member could possibly be replaced by Joe Henning as the WWE feels that he is ready for the call up.

Wow some real intresting stuff going on here, firstly HBK retirement I'm guessing he packing it in on the game, good choice to face him, I do not like Burke as champ don't see whats so good, MITB 2 way looks insanley awsome, The Brood!!! with Tyler Black! don't push him to the moon just slowly build him up if you can, like PC get rid of the 2.0 part, Hardy/Kane looks good although WWE title meh?, Edge/Shane should be good too as long as you have some crazy spot lined up for Shane, keep this up I know you will, good luck

I love how long Jeff has had the title. Yeah, it's not exactly long so far but far better a reign than what WWE actually gave him. I hope he doesn't drop it to Kane though, granted masked Kane being back is awesome and I do hope he gets a title run out of the change back. Smackdown was a solid read, It's great to see how the diary is advancing in its age, new talent being brought in and what not. Hope too see Kaval and Joe Hennig soon. Hope the draft changes the main event scene up a bit. Jericho to Smackdown would be really great in my opinion. Jericho/Taker feud has to happen before Taker retires.

Kane vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title would be awesome. Have Kane win, have Kane win. Sucks for Edge to face Umaga and Kane in a Handicap match. Seems really realistic from Vickie Guerrero. Sucks MVP lost, but I am glad Mr. Kennedy won. Push Kennedy and MVP! Nice to see Gail Kim get the win. Man, I loved the Shawn Michaels vs. Shelton Benjamin match. The match a main event quality match. Sucks the New Hart Foundation and Kendrick lost. It was predictable that Triple H was going to beat Zeke. The main event was great. I enjoyed it. The Smackdown show was awesome. Loved it. I can't wait for Kane vs. Jeff Hardy at Backlash. Backlash looks to be great. I can't wait for Backlash!

- Good way to start the show and to get plenty of the roster onto the program. - Thorn beating Dreamer gets a thumbs up from me. - I really hope Burke gets a long title reign. He is really entertaining. - Matt/HBK is a great main event, for ECW. HBK winning was something I figured would happen. - Good ECW.
SD
- Fantastic to see Benjamin beating HBK. That's awesome. - Glad to see Jeff losing the handicap match. Often times in a reg. match, the team with the advantage will lose the match. - Everything else was decent, really. - Backlash PPV is looking pretty darn good, if you ask me.

Raw 4/20/09 Preview-Last week on Raw, number one contender for the World Title, John Cena went one on one with Ted Dibiase Jr. After picking up the victory, he was beaten down by all three members of Legacy. This week, Shawn Michaels will be abandoning his open contract for tonight and is instead teaming with John Cena to take on Legacy in a 3 on 2 handicap match. What will happen when Cena gets his hands on Orton before Backlash? Which one of these two can get some momentum heading into this Sunday? -Also last week, CM Punk lost his Intercontinental Championship to Paul Burchill thanks to help from John Bradshaw Layfield. Burchill will not be in action on Raw this week, but Punk will be taking on Chris Jericho and JBL will be going up against Rey Mysterio. Punk asked the McMahons for a shot at JBL, will he get a yes tonight? Or will JBL use some of his power to deny Punk a chance? -Kelly Kelly picked up a win in a Divas Battle Royal last week to earn a shot at Beth Phoenix and the Women's Title. The only reason she won however was because Beth ran to the ring and eliminated every Diva, tossing Kelly out last. Kelly gets her shot this week. Kelly's tag team, The Technicians hve been climbing back up the Tag Team ranks since their return. They will face the Second City Saints on Raw this week. Will it be a good night for The Technicians and Kelly? Or will tonight spell doom for the three of them? Find out all these answers and more by tuning into the USA Network at 9PM!!!

April 20th, 2009 RBC Center in Raleigh, North Carolina Attendance: 19,726
This week’s Raw opens with the usual video package showcasing what went down last week. This week’s showed Legacy beat down the number one contender, John Cena, after his match with Ted Dibiase Jr.
Our announce team of Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to Raw and remind us that Backlash is just 6 days away! They then hype up tonight’s big matches which include Shawn Michaels abandoning his open contract for tonight and instead is teaming with John Cena to take on Legacy in a 3 on 2 handicap match. Also tonight, Chris Jericho will take on CM Punk and JBL will go one on one with Rey Mysterio.
“This Fire Burns” hits on the loudspeakers as CM Punk makes his way to the ring, gets in the ring and gets a microphone. He begins to talk about how JBL cost him the Intercontinental Title last week and how he told Mr. McMahon & Stephanie that he wants his hands on JBL. They told him that they would have an answer for him tonight and he wants just that. The General Managers of Raw make their way to the ring. Vince says that Punk doesn’t come out and just basically demand anything from him & Stephanie. He does say that they have come to a decision and at Backlash this Sunday; it will be CM Punk going one on one with JBL! Punk likes this announcement but JBL’s music cuts off his smile. JBL says that he’s going to enjoy beating Punk from pillar to post this Sunday and he’s going to make him pay for ever rejecting JBL’s massive offer to work for him. Punk challenges him to get in the ring right now, but JBL refuses and tells him that he’ll make Punk wait for his beating.
Commercial Break.
Singles Match CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho
Punk stayed in the ring after his promo and out came Jericho to kick off Raw with this fantastic match. These two always put on a show and this was no different. Jericho held the early advantage by taking it to Punk and working over his leg. Punk eventually made a comeback and even hit his trademark knee strike in the corner despite his leg being hurt. He went for the bulldog but Jericho pushed him off into the corner. He hit the corner and turned around right into a Codebreaker. He covered and pulled out the win.
Winner: Chris Jericho (9:17) ***½
Commercial Break.
In the back, we see Charlie Haas, Jamie Noble and Kelly Kelly. They enter Mr. McMahon and Stephanie’s office. They say that they’ve worked hard to get to where they are and if they win tonight, they’d like a shot at the World Tag Team Titles at Backlash. Mr. McMahon says that the Raw side of the PPV is filled up. Stephanie interjects and says that if they win, they can have their match next week on the Draft edition of Raw. Vince then says that they better win because it’ll be a win and a draft pick for Raw.
Women’s Championship Beth Phoenix (c) w/ Santino Marella vs. Kelly Kelly w/ Jamie Noble
This was pretty much a squash as Beth continued to domiante the Women’s division. Kelly began to rally and makes a comeback but Santino tripped her up. This led to Noble running to him and laying him out. It didn’t help out his girlfriend though as she was nailed with the Glam Slam and Beth retained.
Winner and Still Women’s Champion: Beth Phoenix (4:13) *¾
In the back we see John Cena and Shawn Michaels going over some strategy as the former World Tag Team Champions reunite tonight!
Commercial Break.
We return to see Paul Burchill and his sister being interviewed by Todd Grisham. He cuts a decent promo about how he’s dominated 2009 and how he will continue to do it and keep his title at all costs. It showed that he’s still not great on the mic, but he’s serviceable.
Singles Match John “Bradshaw” Layfield vs. Rey Mysterio
These two are probably more focused on their opponents for Backlash because unlike Punk & Jericho, they mailed it in tonight and didn’t put on a good match. JBL did his usual array of power moves and Rey had to fight his way back. He hit a drop toe hold and went for the 619, but JBL got out of the way and went for the Clothesline from Hell. Rey ducked it though and went for a cross body but JBL caught him and hit a fallaway slam. JBL covered him and got the three despite Rey’s foot being on the ropes.
Winner: JBL (6:29) **
Rey argued with the referee after the match but JBL got out of the arena quickly and we cut to commercial.
Commercial Break.
As we return from commercial we are joined by Shawn Michaels. He comes out and begins to talk about how it felt to have been around since the very first episode of Raw back in 1993. He said that he’s been through everything and every era that has happened on Raw. He was there for the original days back in Manhattan, he was there for the beginning of the Monday Night Wars, he was around for the brand split, the return to the USA Network and their first ever show in HD. But after tonight, there will be no more days like this as this is his last Raw ever. He thanked the fans and told them to make sure that Raw ran keeps running strong, even without “The Showstopper”. He then left to a standing ovation.
Commercial Break.
In the back we see CM Punk and Kofi Kingston talking about Punk’s upcoming match at Backlash. They then turn their conversation to the upcoming draft show and the possibility that they could end up on Smackdown or back on their old stomping ground, ECW. Out of nowhere, JBL comes and lays out Punk with a chair in the back. He then knocks out Kofi with a shot as well. He smiles as he walks away and says that Punk really should’ve taken his offer.
Number One Contender’s Tag Team Match The Second City Saints vs. The Technicians w/ Kelly Kelly
These two teams were on their game and they turned in a stellar tag team match. All four men were on their game and it showed. Both teams made frequent tags and used some nice double team moves. Goldman nailed Noble with a backbreaker variation (Colt .45) but had his count broken up. Haas hit Steel with a fantastic release German Suplex but he somehow kicked out. The finish of this came when Noble drilled Steel with a Tiger Driver but had Goldman break up the count. Noble clotheslined him to the outside and as they went over the top, Haas tagged his partner on the back. He ran in and locked Steel in the Haas of Pain and Steel had no choice but to tap out.

3 on 2 Handicap Match John Cena & Shawn Michaels vs. Legacy
The crowd was hot for the main event and it really helped out the match quality here. All five men put on a good show and Legacy took turns putting a beating on Shawn Michaels. It wasn’t until Cody Rhodes had him locked in a Figure Four, that Michaels reversed it and managed to make the tag to Cena, who destroyed everybody. He cleaned house but Orton nailed him with a low blow while Dibiase Jr. distracted the referee. Dibiase Jr. then hit him with the Million Dollar Dream Leg Sweep, but Michaels broke up the count. After a few more minutes, Michaels and Dibiase were the legal men and Michaels drilled him with a Sweet Chin Music from out of nowhere to score the victory.
Winners: John Cena & Shawn Michaels (11:19) ***¼
Michaels picking up the pinfall in his last ever Raw was very fitting and Legacy slowly walked up the ramp. Cena pointed at Orton and motioned that he was taking back the World Heavyweight Championship. He then celebrated with Shawn Michaels to a chorus of “Thank You Shawn” chants.

Punk/Jericho kicking off is nice, but like I said to Planet Charisma - I hope you've got a solid main event and with HBK/Cena vs. The Legacy it sure seems like it. I expected Beth to retain so no surprise there. The Technicians won a title shot? That's awesome. The main event was fantastic and it sucks to see him retiring. It was only fitting that HBK won his final RAW match to be honest.
