- Punk/HBK next show should be good. Im not sensing a clean finish though - Good run in by Burchill. The C4 is a great finisher and I’m finding myself hoping Paul wins the strap. - I hate Cryme Tyme so good to see them lost to the much better Second City Saints. - Rey/Kendrick sounded pretty good. - Interesting to have Kim go over Beth. I do think if you put them in a program, it would be fun. - Figured the main event wouldn’t finish clean with Legacy at ringside. Liked that Orton got the advantage over all three of his opponents at Mania. - Enjoyable RAW for sure. Wrestle Mania, for me, is the most anticipated show to read.

HBK/Punk next week should be really good. Honestly, Punk/Kofi sounds more interesting than Punk/Burchill. Good win there for the SCS. A Rey/Bourne vs. TBK/Zeke feud sounds like it'd be solid. And the match on ECW should be good. Gail/Beth would be a good match to see as well. Still not a huge fan of doing Cena/Batista on TV. But it ended in a no contest so it's ok. Liked Orton being selfish to close out the show. Good show, Mania should be great once it happens.

ECW 3/17/09 Preview Rey Mysterio, The Brian Kendrick, Big Zeke Come to ECW-Last night on Raw, Rey Mysterio defeated The Brian Kendrick in singles competition. Reigning Television Champion, Evan Bourne came to the aid of his friend Mysterio, when Ezekiel Jackson attempted to get involved in the action. Kendrick & Ezekiel issued the challenge and it's been accepted! Rey Mysterio will team with Evan Bourne to take on Ezekiel & Kendrick in tag team action. How will the three visitors fare in an extreme environment? -Last week, "The All-American American" Jack Swagger beat Television Champion Evan Bourne in non-title action, and earned himself a future shot in the process. Tonight, he will take on the ECW Champion, Matt Hardy in a non-title match. Can Swagger pull out another win and secure a second title shot? -Plus, Gavin Spears was beaten by "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry last week, but he put up a strong fight. What will happen tonight as Spears has promised that he will not back down from Henry and has in fact, stated that he will come looking for the big man? Will Spears manage to get the better of Henry this time? Or will Henry continue his dominance? All this and much when you tune into Sci-Fi Tuesday at 9PM!

March 17th, 2009 Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas Attendance: 12,567
We start with a video package highlighting the contract signing gone wrong between ECW Champion Matt Hardy and Elijah Burke.
Matt Striker and Todd Grisham welcome us to another exciting edition of ECW. They hype up two big matches for tonight, one featuring our ECW Champion, Matt Hardy in non title action against “The All-American American” Jack Swagger. Plus, we will get a Money in the Bank preview tag team match of sorts as Rey Mysterio teams with Evan Bourne to take on The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel Jackson, which will kick off ECW as it turns out.
Tag Team Match The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson vs. Television Champion Evan Bourne & Rey Mysterio
A great show stealing tag team match to open the show. The high flying team used that and their speed to their advantage as they ran circles around Big Zeke. He managed to catch Bourne though, on a cross body attempt, and slammed him down to the mat. He and Kendrick began to double team Bourne until he made the hot tag to Mysterio who came in and managed to knock Ezekiel off his feet actually. This lasted until Ezekiel caught Mysterio with a Uranagi. He tagged in Kendrick and knocked Bourne off the apron. Kendrick covered Mysterio.
Winners: The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson (8:09) ***
Commercial Break.
We are joined by the World Tag Team Champions, John Morrison and The Miz for a special edition of “The Dirt Sheet”. Morrison talked about how it was a fluke last year when he didn’t win Money in the Bank, but he guarantees to win it this year. The Miz brings up their latest challengers to the Tag Team Titles, The Second City Saints. They talk about how many teams have tried, but they’ve all failed. CM Punk and Kofi Kingston, Cryme Tyme, The Technicians, you can keep going and they’ve all fallen to the best tag team of the 21st Century. They end this promo by shouting “Be Jealous!”
Commercial Break.
We are shown the video package announcing that Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will be inducted into the 2009 Hall of Fame. He will be inducted by 2008 Hall of Fame inductee, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair! Then it’s announced that Rev Theory will be at WrestleMania 25 to perform Randy Orton’s theme during the World Title match.
Gavin Spears makes his way to the ring and grabs a microphone. He basically just calls out “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry. Tony Atlas and Henry come out and questions why Spears would ask for another beating. Spears says he knows that he can beat Henry and that he’s better. Henry gets in the ring and we’re joined by a referee.
Singles Match Gavin Spears vs. Mark Henry
For the second week in a row, Spears seemingly kicked out of everything Henry hit him with. He kicked out of a big splash in the corner and even managed to get up from the World’s Strongest Slam. Henry looked shocked at this and went for a big splash but Spears moved out of the way and began to hit some offense. He hit a few dropkicks and a spinning heel kick. Henry took a big swing at Spears, but he ducked, went under Henry’s arm and brought him down with a neckbreaker, yet only got a two. Henry ended when Spears tried to pick him up and he caught him in the World’s Strongest Slam again.
Winner: Mark Henry (7:13) **½
Henry seemed upset at still struggling with Spears and hit him with another big splash. We then cut to what seems like a weekly video package of Kevin Thorn. He talked about how the time was growing near when he and his “creatures of the night” will take over ECW.
Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match ECW Champion Matt Hardy vs. Jack Swagger
Swagger and Hardy put on a very good match here and Swagger seemed to be trying any way possible to pick up a win. He kept trying different variations of roll ups and tried to score a win any way possible. Eventually, Swagger slowed down the pace and tried to work over Matt with some ground based work. Matt picked up the pace a little when he got back on the offensive and eventually managed to put away Swagger with a Twist of Fate.
Winner: ECW Champion Matt Hardy (9:56) **¾
Elijah Burke’s music hits as he comes out to the stage. He has a microphone in hand and begins to run down the ECW Champion. He then challenges Matt to box him next week on ECW. Matt gets a microphone and says that he boxed Evander Holyfield two years ago on Saturday Night’s Main Event, so he has no problems facing Burke next week. Burke smirks at this as Matt poses with the ECW Title.

- Awesome to see Kendrick get the pin even if Jackson did the work for it. Still, its awesome. - Solid “Dirt Sheet” segment gets the point across. - Liked that Spears continues to do well but comes up short against Henry. - Simple match for a main event with Hardy clearly having to go over. - Interesting to have a boxing match next week, something Burke is legit good at. - Good stuff, as usual.

Good opening, tag match. I wish Jackson was less involved though because he won't be in MITB. I'm actually rooting for Morrison to win MITB, it would be great for him and hopefully if that does happen he gets away from Miz. I'm actually liking the Spears/Henry stuff. Spears kicking out the the World's Strongest Slam is questionable, but I guess it puts him over. Good that Henry won in the end though. Kevin Thorn is awesome, I wonder who the creatures of the night are. Hopefully Gangrel, but I doubt it. Good solid win for Hardy in the main event. Interesting to see a boxing match on ECW next week. Good show.

I was hoping Zeke would win, but glad to see that team win anyway. Good promo by Miz/Morrison to get them on the show. Good win for HEnry although I don't know anything about Spears. Good win for Hardy there, and I like the idea of a boxing match.

Well I don't really watch ECW anymore but if this was how ECW was beeing bokking I would watch it more. The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson winning??? I must have to read more of your shows what that is about. Gavin Spears vs. Mark Henry in the second week in the row, oh well sound like an instering match to say the least, and gald to see ECW Champion Matt Hardy to reatin because I really find Jack a boring wreslter, Good show mate, can't wait for WM25 looks like a very good card.

Solid opening contest between The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel Jackson taking on Evan Bourne and Rey Mysterio, seemed to be quite a solid match, suprising since Zeke is in there, he is a bland performer. Screams Bad News Brown to me, they seem almost alike. Mark Henry beating Gavin Spears in seven minutes is kinda long, I hate Henry, but I suppose it gives him something to do, despite having done that for weeks now. Awesome main event with Matt Hardy defeating Jack Swagger. I'm kinda confused why your ECW on Sci-Fi video has Matt Hardy removed when he's ECW World Champion.

March 20th, 2009 Landon Arena in Topeka, Kansas Attendance: 7,777
Smackdown kicks off with the weekly video package, highlighting last week’s big six man tag main event. It ends with The Undertaker finally standing tall while his brother, Kane looked on.
Jim Ross and Tazz welcome us to Kansas and this week’s Smackdown. They pump up the audience for tonight’s tag team main event, when Kane & Umaga team up to face Triple H & The Undertaker! Plus, our WWE Champion Jeff Hardy will be tonight’s guest on “The Cutting Edge”.
Singles Match Carlito vs. Mr. Kennedy
Kennedy did his usual pre match introductions but Carlito cut him off midway because he had something to say. He announces that Shane and Vickie have granted him and Primo a match at WrestleMania. They will defend their WWE Tag Team Titles against Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder and the New Hart Foundation in a Triple Threat tag match. The match got underway and it was pretty good, with some back and forth action. The finish came when Kennedy dropped him with the Mic Check.
Winner: Mr. Kennedy (6:21) **½
After the match, Kennedy once again declared that he was going after whoever wins Money in the Bank, to get back the briefcase that’s rightfully his.
Backstage, MVP is seen with Eve Torres. He tells her that she seems to be good luck for him as he won last week. She says that she was worried for him after the attack he suffered. He said not to worry; it’ll take more than that to get rid of Smackdown’s MVP.
Commercial Break.
We return to see The New Hart Foundation backstage. Natalya Neidhart tells them that despite having to share it with Hawkins and Ryder, they’re getting the Tag Title shot they want. She tells them that they need to get prepared for WrestleMania and win their match tonight. She then says that she has some business to take care of.
Divas Match Gail Kim vs. Maryse
A really good women’s match here as both of these girls are good in ring workers. Midway through the match our Divas Champion, Natalya made her way to ringside and caused a distraction for Kim. Kim seemed to be really bothered by her presence at ringside and at one point she began to argue with the champion, which allowed Maryse to sneak up and hit a big DDT for the win.
Winner: Maryse (4:13) **
After the match, Natalya got in the ring and locked Kim in the Sharpshooter until Michelle McCool and Maria ran off the champion and checked up on their friend, Gail Kim.
Commercial Break.
We return to the news that Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will be the next inductee and his old rival Ric Flair will be inducting him in. As usual, this was followed by the next celebrity to appear at ‘Mania and this week it’s the band Rev Theory, who will be on hand to perform Randy Orton’s theme song.
Money in the Bank Preview Tag Team Match Shelton Benjamin & Cody Rhodes vs. Evan Bourne and MVP w/ Eve Torres
These Money in the Bank previews have all turned out to be very good and it shows just how good this year’s match will be. Rhodes and Benjamin had control throughout the match and were dominating Bourne with frequent tags. Bothe Rhodes & Benjamin have held Tag Team gold in the past before, so this was no surprise. Eventually though, Bourne made the hot tag to MVP, who cleaned house. He hit Rhodes with a snap over head belly-to-belly suplex and then dropped his “Ballin” elbow drop. The finish here came when MVP nailed Rhodes with the Drive-By and that was followed with the Shooting Star Press from Bourne.
Winners: MVP & Evan Bourne (9:17) ***¼
While Rhodes was being pinned, Shelton Benjamin didn’t even attempt to help out his partner and he walked back up the ramp as the three count was being made.
Commercial Break.
We return to see the ring set up for “The Cutting Edge”. Edge makes his way to the ring and cuts a short promo about winning last week and how we’ll see the same thing at WrestleMania. He calls out his guest for tonight, the WWE Champion, Jeff Hardy. Jeff comes out a huge ovation. He gets in the ring and Edge welcomes him to the show and offers him a seat but Jeff refuses and doesn’t take his eyes off of Edge. Edge gets to asking the questions and they’re all questions like “why is Edge so much better than you?” “What are you going to do after WrestleMania 25, when you no longer have your championship around your waist?” Jeff doesn’t answer any of these and Edge gets upset about the silent treatment. He yells in Jeff’s face which leads to Jeff punching him and the two begin to trade fists until Jeff knocks him out of the ring. Hawkins and Ryder ran down to the ring and Jeff took both men out anyway. He poses in the ring while Edge backs his way up the ramp and is furious.
Commerical Break.
Money in the Bank Preview Non-Title Singles Match United States Champion Hurricane Helms vs. John Morrison w/ The Miz
Helms and Morrison put on a very good show and again showed that this year’s Money in the Bank features a talented crop of stars. Morrison was in control for the early portion of the match and The Miz made his presence felt as he interfered a few times until he was caught by the referee and ejected from the match. Helms took over after that and nailed Morrison with the Nightmare on Helms Street. Before he could cover though, he and Morrison were both attacked, by Ezekiel Jackson and The Brian Kendrick.
No Contest (7:13) **½
Kendrick and Ezekiel beat down on both of these men, who will be Kendrick’s opponents in Money in the Bank. The Miz ran down to help his partner but Ezekiel took him out as well. For the second straight week, The Brian Kendrick stands tall over some of his Money in the Bank opponents.
Commercial Break.
Edge is shown complaining to Shane and Vickie about Jeff Hardy taking him, Hawkins and Ryder out. Shane tells him that he asked to have Jeff on “The Cutting Edge” while Vickie was sympathetic towards him. Shane then announces that next week on Smackdown, Edge will team with Hawkins and Ryder to face Jeff Hardy, Carlito and partner of their choosing. Edge is furious at this news and leaves the office.
Tag Team Match Jesse & Festus vs. The New Hart Foundation w/ Natalya Neidhart
This turned out to pretty much be a squash as everybody knew that Jesse & Festus had no chance here. The Foundation looked very good as a team and while Festus was dominant for the few minutes he was in the match, Jesse took a beating. Wilson ended it by nailing Jesse with the Rolling Stampede.
Winners: The New Hart Foundation (5:06) **
We see Triple H walking towards the ring area as his match, the main event, is next!
Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Umaga & Kane w/ Paul Bearer vs. The Undertaker & Triple H
This turned out to be a very good main event as all four men wanted to kill each other seemingly. Triple H and Umaga threw stiff shots at each other throughout as did ‘Taker and Kane. Kane and Triple H were both in the ring at one point and they put together some really good action. Triple H went for the Pedigree on him, but Kane flipped him over. Triple H managed to tag in ‘Taker and he took it to his brother. Kane stopped his brother’s flurry and delivered a big boot. In the end, Umaga went under the ring and got Triple H’s sledgehammer. He brought it in the ring and nailed “The Game” with it in the leg.
Winners by DQ: Triple H & The Undertaker (12:13) ***
Kane and Undertaker were trading lefts and rights on the outside while Umaga continued to assault Triple H as Smackdown went off the air.

Tag match sounds star studded, at least on paper. Good win for Kennedy over Carlito. Really glad Maryse picked up the win over Gail, but I am biased lol. Good win for the NHF over J & F. Interesting idea there to have Umaga grab HHH's hammer. Liked the heels closing the show on top. I hope Kane can get some pinfall victories before Mania though to make him look like more of a threat.

- Good win for Kennedy to open the show. - MITB preview match is something I would want to watch. Sounded like a really good match. - I liked the cutting edge segment with Edge being obnoxious. - Good squash for the Hart Foundation. Hope they win the straps at Mania - Main event was OK. Wasn’t expecting a clean finish since they are all involved with big matches at Mania. - Really, other than the womens match, good stuff.

Also i gotta say that i loved the Main Event and i liked the ending to Smackdown as well. WrestleMania looks very stacked. Hope to god Taker wins, Cena loses, Hardy loses, Micheals wins, and MVP or Shelton win the MITB.

-The WWE haven't fully made a decision on who will win the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 25. The main names being tossed around are Cody Rhodes, Shelton Benjamin, MVP or Evan Bourne -Reports have it that the WWE are planning on replacing their current One Night Stand® Pay-Per-View and bringing back the King of the Ring® as a Pay-Per-View event. Expect an official announcment a few weeks after Backlash -Very interesting news is that the contracts of TNA's Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have just run out. WWE is said to be very interested in them and have told Shelley & Sabin's agents that they will be able to wrestle their style in the ring. WWE plans to allow them to do that because of how weel Evan Bourne is over when he uses his normal wrestling style. Expect more about this next week. -Lastly for this week's news, rumors have it that almost every WWE Title will be changing hands in the month of April to shake things up, along with the draft

Please don't bring in Shelley and Sabin. They're a fantastic team, but I just don't think that they'd do well in the WWE at all. If anything, I'm sure that they'd stick on the independent scene for a while. I've got my fingers crossed for Benjamin winning the MITB match. I think his time to win a world championship has come. Thanks for the reply to my PWG diary.
