A Fallen Soldier Named Ben(Posed Set)

In early October I was asked to make 3 figures for a gentleman I know on another board. The three figures he asked me to make were of his son who died in Iraq in 2006. I took the order, which admittedly has been the hardest set I've done, though well worth it. I'm thoroughly happy with each of them as is the customer. These figures are going to be gifts to his wife and remaining kids. Some may think this is a weird order, and if you do, that's fine, however I couldn't be more proud to make these for him.

Karate Pose(The plaid is not perfect, nor was it meant to be. I was going for a more distressed wrinkled look with the paint. I could have done neat clean lines, but I liked this way better, customer liked it too)

it is funny that the best customs I have ever seen from you aren't even MMA or Wrestling related.

The one I am most impressed with is the karate pose. It looks like the picture. I really love these...easily your best work.

I think it's really cool that the father ordered those and I think you really made some cool figures of his son. The sculpting all looks nice and mounting them on those bases is neat. I really dig the way you made the skateboard look like his sons and gave it that worn out look too. Good stuff!

Gonzo i'm glad you put alot of effort into this, that guy is a true American hero. The only thing I can say negative about them is as a military man myself I don't like tennis shoe mold with his sailor uniform (should be either boots or dress shoes)
