MVP had the US Title from May 2007 to April 2008. For how much of that time has he out injured? CONSTANTLY. When did he defend it? NEVER. It's simple. I've said it since Wrestlemania 23. The only way MVP will ever look good is to wrestle Benoit. He's subpar in the ring. Kennedy was leagues better than MVP, sans his matches against Michaels which were atrocious. MVP will be released by the end of 2009. Bank on it. Er... Kennedy's matches against Michaels were great matches, especially the one on the first RAW of 2008. MVP enters an incentive bonus storyline and everyone is predicting he'll be released, how cute . It is not up to him to defend the belt, its up to managment, and he's defended it a LOT, especially on houseshows. I also do not see how he can defend it when hes in almost a year long feud with the guy he eventually lost it to :S, he defended it against Rey..., he can't defend it against Flair as it was the career threatening match and if MVP lost, they would have to give Flair the title. He isn't going anywhere, deal with it.

What's the point of defending a belt on SD? You know he's not dropping it unless he's suspended or injured.

The only belt that will change hands on free TV nowadays is the womens and the tag teams. When was the last time the US title changed hands on Smackdown? When Kennedy won it? 2 years ago? LOL...
