i voted flash but both look good either way...no flash might have some shadows because of where your light is

Flash definitely works better. If you want to go with no flash you will have to add a desklamp or two.

flash but in the first pic you should have zoomed ina bit to avoid making the figure look so bright. like i said... flash =)

No flash, you can get better details and it looks more epic, when pics are bright like the first it makes things look noobish. If you ever do to a wrestling show its usually kinda dark in there. Adds awesomeness.

Adds awesomeness. yup. no flash accentuates the details but there has to be enough lighting for it to work. If you shoot in a big room and youre source of light is say like only one flourescent bulb or tube then pics would turn out that way. Based on the the pics he sent flash would work but as i've said, No flash is the way to go IF you have enough illumination. Dyamez's formula: No flash + 2 desklamps (or more)

I'm starting to film with a lamp, and a room light, but I have a white background and a small space for my arena, so it looks great.
