Not on topic but considering you guys brought it up, the R3 tech line could have survived had they:
1. Invested in new parts and bodies and dialled back their reuse by about 90% 2. Re-engineered the articulated hands so they weren't flimsy 3. Added bicep swivels 4. Redesigned the lower legs, not just for the skinny ankles (which I didn't mind because they looked realistic), but so they didn't look bowed on one figure and too arching inwards on another 5. Didn't skip on deco

If you mean lower legs, I've used Neville ones, same as E91 RVD lower legs. If you mean upper legs down to the knees, HBK Legends (black tights, silver designs) or DM Jericho. Are the lower legs molded in black ? Looks like I have to find Neville after I get off work . The last Neville they made does, which is the gold trunks one. Not sure if the purple trunks Neville does.

That's fantastic, thank you both for the help. Didn't know that existed.
I actually spent a few hours recreating the logo in GIMP. So I'm all set now but thanks again.

I'm trying to create decals for this The Rock logo and can't find anything clear enough that would allow me to identify the font used. ![](https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.15752-9/367383364_254520964180962_7672675772019259157_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_p526x296&_nc_cat=101&cb=99be929b-3346023f&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=510075&_nc_ohc=Xlm0e4Im07cAX9Ok334&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_ht=scontent.xx&oh=03_AdScRYCkNY25A1aV_fnKTLlxIYrHOAsnGn_LCInZvbpf7A&oe=65004830) Could anyone provide anything clearer or does anyone know the font used?

Could anyone help provide clear images of a Rock BCA figure that feature "THE ROCK" on the back of his trunks? I'm trying to create decals for a Mattel custom and can't find anything clear enough that would allow me to identify the font used. For example this figure ![](https://di2ponv0v5otw.cloudfront.net/posts/2023/01/18/63c858beeb7e7ad97b5b4ad3/s_63c858d34bf9ffd70d87a7cb.jpg) Or this one ![](https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/PcMAAOSw7kpj3pTW/s-l1600.jpg) I'm attempting to create this one: ![](https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.15752-9/367383364_254520964180962_7672675772019259157_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_p526x296&_nc_cat=101&cb=99be929b-3346023f&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=510075&_nc_ohc=Xlm0e4Im07cAX9Ok334&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_ht=scontent.xx&oh=03_AdScRYCkNY25A1aV_fnKTLlxIYrHOAsnGn_LCInZvbpf7A&oe=65004830)

I saw one video of him talking about how much he got paid and it was very well made. He does seem very natural and entertaining in his videos.
Hope he can make more stuff on the regular.
I think he could have translated this into his wrestling career if he had a longer stay. He needed to build his confidence up. Because he has charisma, just never really showed it in the same way. He started to with Simon Dean then got his wings clipped.

This BATB episode was not on par with other episodes but I enjoyed most of it anyway.
I actually find Russo to be correct in some things he says in general, and here I feel he was right to not placate to Hulk's ego and creative control, and to push the younger guys (Booker). But going into business for himself and shooting on Terry Bollea (NOT Hulk Hogan, no matter what Russo says), was just bad for business.
I also may have missed the part where Russo/Bischoff agreed to the Jarrett laying down part. I thought Bischoff and Hogan wanted X and Russo wanted Y and then all of a sudden Russo is saying that Hogan and Bischoff were on board with Jarrett laying down and leaving the building with the belt. I either skipped that part or they did?
Either way, the idea to have NO WORLD CHAMPION until Halloween Havoc is ridiculous. Bischoff and Hogan really thought that a 4 month tournament for the WHC would help the company? They literally tried that over October-November the year prior and it sucked.
Having no WHC for 4 months after the 13 title changes in the first half of the year and David f'n Arquette, would have been way worse.
Hogan and Bischoff love to throw shade on Russo but they are by no means booking geniuses.

I agree, and would have liked to have seen Shawn at the top of the card more often and with the WHC.
But I'm certain he also said that the schedule as a world champion was brutal and he wasn't willing to sacrifice his family life and community/religious schedule for it.

I was watching a Smackdown from January 2000, and Tony Chimel announced X-Pac as 222lbs. I scoffed because I couldn't see that being the case.
They used to bill some guys in a questionable way - eg Al Snow at 240lbs+, but then Ken Shamrock was only 235lbs yet much more muscular and not much shorter.
DDP was billed at 250lbs in WCW. Yet the announce team/Heenan would say he was closer to 270lbs.
And Jim Ross would always say Chyna was about 200lbs. Even Taka Michinoku was billed as 200lbs in 1997.
So there's times where their weights are embellished and other wrestlers were basically dead on. So it skews what reality is.
I've seen discussions where real heights are a couple of inches shorter for a few guys, but never seen a discussion about real weights.
Does anyone know where certain guys fall regarding their actual weights? Like I'm curious for Shawn Michaels because he was billed at 227lbs in the 90s and some have said he was actually 210lbs soaking wet.

I know this one may be 100% subjective, but I'm sure there are quite a few that fall under this category.
- Albert/Prince Albert/A-Train comes to mind. I think he had moments where he was somewhat appreciated but he largely just existed. - Charlie Haas? Did he really hit any heights with the crowd? - Maven?
What are some of your picks?

I get what you're saying, especially in the early part of the year where it had blow after blow and they were scrambling. But I enjoyed the latter half of the year. Fond memories, so I'm skewed towards bias. But yeah it was still a bit weak later in the year however I enjoyed it.
For me, 2004 was worse. Just felt very forced and wasn't up to the standard set in 2002 and 2003. I was very disappointed in the treatment of RVD and Booker T. RVD was wasted immensely and Booker just never had the company behind him.
Eddie's run was diminished with him being an overly forced babyface (typical WWE formula), and then his light dimmed after losing the title. JBL was a great heel looking back but had go away heat one week and moments of brilliance the next.
Big Show was just meh. He'd outstayed his welcome IMO. Angle being off was disappointing, and Lesnar leaving hurt as well.
Cena was great but I actually felt he was more entertaining the year before.
So for me 2006 wins over 2004.

I honestly think you guys are clutching at straws or adding 2 + 2 and making 5. Even with the lack of Macho Man figures, it would have been what, 2 new ones being shown? Wouldn't have made much difference, especially to all the Hogans being shown. The crowdfund failure would have nothing to do with the spate of figures being shown. That's just nonsense. Their budget probably just got slightly bigger for figures because of it, so I doubt that they chose to show "less" because a crowdfund failed. And the Steiners thing - nothing's a guarantee yet. They're not on Hogan/Macho/Warrior/Austin level. Since when have B-tier wrestlers had more than one figure in a calendar year this quickly? Not frequently, that's for sure. No-one is entitled to another slot shown at SDCC. And FTITL figures rarely get more than one figure in a year. Plus they could easily be announced as Ringside Exclusives later this year. I do think they should have got their main early '90's/tag-team look out first though (preferably as Ultimates), then concentrate on the others. I'm not surprised they didn't though. They almost always do this with newly signed guys. They come out with lesser desired looks first, then eventually get to the more favoured looks. This tells me they have many more planned. Just hope the Steiners keep respectable until that time. Really need a WCW Big Poppa Pump. Don't want another Jeff Jarrett on our hands.

With the emphasis back then on guys being able to cut promos and talk, I honestly think he would have been pushed strong for like a month or two before Vince gets bored of him and he drops down to Intercontinental level and then the European title and booked in silly angles.
Which is stupid to think, because Heyman was the master at booking people to their potential and hiding their inadequacies, yet so many that came to the WWF were wasted to try to present them in the "WWF/WWE way".
Had he came in and kicked ass (like he did for a month in WCW), said little and let his actions do the talking, and pair him with a manager if needed.... He could have been Intercontinental level for sure.

Bringing him in 2 years after WCW closed down probably cooled off his drawing power even moreso after how sucky WCW was the last couple years. Other than that, I think him only signing the 1 year deal had a major factor in how that all played out. Had he signed a 2-3 year deal I think he probably mows down Rock a a couple others and by Summerslam he beats HHH Goldberg should’ve won that chamber match and it’s one of the dumber booking decisions wwe has made when handling a star, kinda like Mania 39. WWE will want to swerve fans when it’s obvious something is gonna happen, but they seemingly only do that when it’s something the fans wanna see. If everyone knows something is coming and the fans don’t want it, WWE will go with the obvious and usually double down. This has been spoken about by Bruce Prichard. Basically Triple H had a groin tear going into the Chamber match, hence the biker shorts look he had for like 3 months. So they were looking to drop the belt to Goldberg at the Chamber. However, the company were going on an international tour immediately following and Goldberg refused to go. Being their champion, it was a non-negotiable. So he declined and that gave him heat. Triple H was part of creative back then and said the time wasn't right to put the belt on Goldberg, and he could work around the injury. So he kept the belt for another month and only worked tag matches. Goldberg's unwillingness to be a company man led to people souring on him.

He is Hulk Hogan's nephew and had a cup of coffee in the WWF in the early 90s as Predator, wearing some kind of jaguar mask. ![](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ENt7sIRXYAAiqIt?format=jpg&name=large) Hilarious to think that someone thought he was ready to have a stint on tv that early on in his career, only to return back to tv in 1998 and he still wasn't ready for the big time....

That's because that is a Legends Greatest Hits line, so of course they're re-releases. I didn’t realise that it was also a Greatest Hits line! But still, that feeds into my second point - another entire wave dedicated to rereleases! Indeed. But at that, the choices will appeal to many, but not everyone. I'd have liked some of the harder to find figures, Bulldog is a great one to include but I feel there are others more worthy than Funk for example.

I’m guessing that WWE is much more strict and controlling about which talents they want represented on products with their name and logo on them. As a result, there is a small pool of (just making up a number) of 50 licensed and approved legends that can be merchandised. It’s why we always see the same talent on the legends section of the website and why the same talents are always used on reunion shows. So instead of being able to make 1000s of different characters, Mattel seem to be stuck trying to make as many variations of someone like Undertaker as possible, even down to obscure looks like Mean Mark and ‘97 leather cowboy hat that he wore maybe two times. Then again, something random like The Goon will show up, so who the hell knows. All I know is that we’re gonna get Big Scott Hall, Diamond Stud, Red Razor Ramon, Pink Razor Ramon, and DDP Yoga Scott Hall long before we get someone like The Barbarian. I’m talking things like an entire wave of Legends that are rereleases (Warrior, Bulldog, Honky, Funk), not to mention an entire wave dedicated to rereleased figures (Greatest Hits). There just seems to be a massive focus on it recently, rather than offering something different. That's because that is a Legends Greatest Hits line, so of course they're re-releases.
