When WWE 1st switched back to multi-brand PPV's it was going well and we still got a solid mix of upper and undercard. However since like Backlash/Judgement day...we've got just the really big matches..many of which are all too often rematches or end in no decisions. Not to mention, we see a lack of direction for undercard matches/development. If some of our current main eventers had been coming up when there were multi-brand ppv's, who knows if they'd be where they are now (i'm talking about the likes of Umaga, MVP, Kennedy, Shelton, carlito, morrison, rey, etc). I by no means wanna see the brands only together for the big 4....but it would be . nice if each brand (minus ECW, well they'd be with SD!) got like 2 PPV's to themselves. It's hard to get over a guy like Kozlov, Burhcill, Cade, Kofi, ETC when they never have a PPV match.

I always found the RAW/SD individual shows too boring, they had like a match or two that I was interested in but everything else was too boring and I didn't want to spend the money to only see one or two matches.

At this point ANYTHING would help. But personally I say yes, we NEED that to happen.

I love the one branded PPVs. But above all, what I think the WWE needs is more of the brand purity, like it was back in 2003/04/05, just look at those years RRs, look how much the brands fought for their honor, and s*** like that. It just made it more interesting.

There's no happy medium.
With all-branded PPVs, there's no room for lower-card matches.
With single-branded PPVs, there's a metric buttload of filler matches.
At least SD/ECW would have a chance because of the talent exchange...but seriously, using just the Raw Superstars and current feuds, could you think of 8 matches you'd pay to see?

Depends on how you look at it.
1 branded PPVs wouldn't be worth the hefty price tag, however... I'd be more for given each roster a full PPV to showcase their stuff. To many times it seems like Mid-Carders get thwarted and big matches get blown way to often.

I believe it would both work and not work at the same time. But i agree with you. At ppvs they could put some attention towards the ic and tag team titles and even the womens. that way teams like priceless and cryme tyme can feud and have other guys like mvp and kennedy build to higher ww status.

I thought that the one branded PPVs were hard to enjoy all the way through since I only really liked a couple of matches but I would like if they payed more attention to the lower titles, especially the women's/diva's.

I personally thought that the split branded PPVs would be better for WWE. It would give them a chance to build characters that don't get PPV time. The tri-branded PPV's, like someone said, is usually filled with rematches that get played out. Plus I love the fact that it would take us back to the time where it would take two months to build a feud, instead of three weeks to get something together and make us believe that the match DESERVES to be settled at a PPV.

Some PPVs use to offer only 6 or 7. Let's hope Vince isn't reading this, he might catch on.

I'd be against this move, as SmackDown PPV's were usually stacked with crap cards.
Single branded PPV's wern't worth watching as it just got boring having jobbers on PPV's who wern't worth paying to see.
I can't see it changing after SmackDown PPV's and December to Dismember had low buyrates.

In my opinion, they should just have the big 4 PPV's per year.
Of course, that would never happen for obvious reasons.

yeah they should go back to single branded ppvs it would give more value to the big four and make mid card fueds feel more important but as someone already said the smackdown ppvs almost always sucked (im looking at you No Mercy 06)

It really doesn't matter, no one is going to pay $40 for their PPV's when they are so bad. The WWE knows they still get the buys from what I call the 'wrestling zombies' so they really don't care, but the days of casual fans paying good money for rotten PPV's are long gone. It makes no sense to purchase any pay per view, we can get instant results online and know everything that happened...

i dont care about the brands on PPVs i just dont think there should be any more than 12 PPVs per year one per month is good enough it gets to be too much when theres PPVs 2 weeks apart they need to scrap ONS & cyber sunday and just stick with the 12 monthly PPVs
