Why did they move the ring steps?

I noticed on RAW for a few weeks they've had both sets of ring steps on the same side of the ring (instead of opposing sides).


Just wondering if any one knows why?

Does someone have an entrance that requires the use of that side of the ring? (i was thinking palumbo might use it for a bike, but im not sure he's on the RAW roster and even so, Undertaker managed just fine with them where they were).

I know this isn't exactly a ground-breaking topic, but im just curious. There has to be some reason why they'd just change them after having them in the same place for about a decade.

when palumbo comes out they put the stairs up against the barricades in the corner.

I guess it's because of the new security wall configuration that creates a barrier between the ring announcer and the corner where the steps used to be. Rather than walking around the new curved wall to go up, it's probably easier for the announcers to now walk in front of the commentators and towards the corner where the steps are now placed.
